I want to make the distinction between Islam the religion and the culture of its follower.
Of course you will find some die-hard muslim from some very radical countries whose follower are not very well educated.
But anyone can be gas-lighted to have their belief distorted.
Muslim in Indonesia don't behave and have the same practice than in Saudi Arabia, same as muslims in America.
From an old agnostic person. I treat all the human spiritual believes in the same way. I think that every relegious doctrine is dangerous enough to ~snip~
- Slavery in Islam is allowed, and has been confirmed by many verses.
Slavery was accepted in Christianity, have you forgotten the slave trade between europe and the USA
- Polygamy is also allowed.
Not everywhere, only if the country you live in allows it. Mainly in poor countries where wife could have died in labour and where men would go to war and die, widows would then remarry.
At least a few branches of the christianity allow polygamy (even though it is not the majority). I don't believe reading about American mulsim having multiple wife, nor in any european countries.

Not really, many muslims where against saddam hussein, And trial and court exist, have you heard of a muslim judge saying : you both are muslim so i can't pick one that is guilty, you are both not gulty.
- According to some related books, it is allowed to marry children and fuck a dead wife (yes it is true) and many funny legislations that are in contradiction total with the international convention of human rights.
Hum, fuck a dead wife ? i'd like to see the quote. As per marrying children, this has been done in every abrahamic religion. Better not look at what catholic priest nowadays behind closest door

Every religion have minus and plus, also in Islam.
I am Islam, what i hate why terrorist is always linked with Islam. I already study every religion, they don't teach about killing people is accepted.
Also don't too much hate other religion, that is up to them to choose what religion to have.
It depends where you live, nowadays i would say that most terrorists are white male with supremacist idea - I wouldn't go as far as saying that they wish everybody was a christian (because they very often say that they are NOT doing this for the religion) but it is not hard to imagine their real motive.

I didn't see many stoning in USA or England, are you telling me that NO muslim women was ever raped in England or in the Great U of the SA ?
This is a practice that is country dependant, that most muslim condemn and that is mainly due to poor education of the local communities.
By the way, back in USA and Europe, 16th -18th century, women were burnt alive because they were suspected to be witches.
Up until the 1960, black people where killed and burnt by white christian supremacist just for being black (but they had the same religion).
I didn't see many young muslim being killed in America after a kiss at school, again written, but just applied by gas-lighted people in poor uneducated country.
Burka : this one is on the most interesting. To be fair, i only did the research about it a few months ago. It blew my mind. So back in the first years of Islam. In the middle eastern region, small town didn't have public restroom (same as europe, and the USA where far from being discovered by a european boats). So women went to the woods or outside of the city at night to go to the bathroom. Back at that time, vile men where lurking outside city to find women to rape (we don't know if they were muslim, agnostic, jew or christians).
A women wearing a scalf / veil was a free women, she had a husband and could have money, touching her would expose the rapist to hars punishment if they were caught. So women wearing the veil (burka) were safe. Slave however were a free for all. After a while the situation was explained to Mahomet. According to scriptures he consulted with god and god answered that all women should feel safe and that slaves should also be wearing the protective veil. So no rapist would touch them. Free women, gave away they old Burka to their slaves. And there come the story of why most women wear the burka in the old time. Oh by the way, great way to prevent heat stroke before the invention of cap, and suncream.
What about a book about a dude that open the read see so it people can cross (they didn't have boat).

Long story short, Islam, like any other religion is perfect. But i guess it is an easy target since 9-11 (that was probably an inside job).
You guys should look at hindouism, they are the real fanatics, they kill any Indian that converted to other religion because they believe that once an indu you can't ever be something else.
