You want a coffin for a funeral don't you? "And now we flop the body into the ground".

There are videos showing people owning the land admitting that there were leasing it for storage to the US government. You could refuse to take their word for it. Otherwise, why would the US government want these things? Why would anyone else want these things in mass storage?
843  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Martial law, prison/death camps and plastic coffins... on: November 09, 2011, 10:32:52 PM
What the heck are they?
844  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Martial law, prison/death camps and plastic coffins... on: November 09, 2011, 10:00:23 PM
We shouldn't go back to anything. We should look for a new philosophy for human interaction that works. I say it is time we treated each other with respect and as sovereign individuals.

Worried about how these tools will be used and if they will be used, because it's completely totalitarian.

The USA is gradually becoming more totalitarian as we can all see so clearly but this shows they have additional tools for terror which would be horrible wether in war time or not.
846  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Martial law, prison/death camps and plastic coffins... on: November 09, 2011, 09:40:33 PM
Why not start by stop starting wars abroad and creating terrorism, for goodness sake!

Martial law is horrific in any circumstance, even in an invasion. Just as drafting is horrific. It's all war crimes to me. Forcing people into prison camps is especially evil.

You seriously support this?

Also we don't know if they are going to use these regardless of war and I still wont be surprised if these camps were a lot more horrible than you may assume. You should be really worried about this.

So you think this is all WW3 preparation? Why do you need prison camps for a nuclear war event? You think there will be an army invasion so there needs to be POW camps? You agree with martial law?
848  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Martial law, prison/death camps and plastic coffins... on: November 09, 2011, 08:41:38 PM
I think the first video was showing some Rex 84 martial law training. The second showed a camp with strange buildings, helicopter access and rail access. It was a large area secured with inner pointing barbed fencing. Third video showing what were said to be plastic coffins piled up.

Shouldn't Americans be very scared? Shouldn't they have been standing against this?

What about the many securitised camps that are either official called prison camps, residential camps or relocation camps but have scary resemblance to concentration camps? Here is one example:

And I cannot really explain this one  ...

For gold? It's going sideways basically so no real dip there but that doesn't mean you shouldn't buy. It's a good time to buy as always it seems.

Doesn't want to stop going up today. I was informally playing with a spread betting demo and I thought there was going to be a tiny reversal but suddenly in a single tick it goes over the previous high for the day and I luckily make back my virtual losses by holding a long position. Then I got bored.  Grin

Perhaps the actual software itself is the area that is lacking in development. Many ideas but not much going forward it seems.

Thanks for your answer. Isn't your strategy to have long term investment in physical and then use put options to take advantage of the temporary bearish turns? That seems like a good idea.
855  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold: I smell a trap on: November 06, 2011, 07:48:39 PM
@miscreanity Thanks for what you have said. Are you suggesting that the COMEX markets are ridiculous and unstable but will be safe for now? We shouldn't see futures defaults for now but it is likely the prices of precious metals will now edge upwards further with more backwardation? and you say January would be a time with the biggest opportunity for an large assault on the price?

There has been slight slides in the gold price in the past during the start of new years.

I've made the video. The song is by the band The Electoral College.

I forgot to buy some more gold below 1700usd/oz but I got some yesterday. In the long run it's all good.

@miscreanity: As you say the COMEX markets will get hit in December with actual delivery requests, what do you predict will happen to the prices and will there be more backwardation or/and defaults?
