Yet another coin is done. Thread will turn into supporters/baghodlers club soon.

It seems main hashrate landed on private pools. Good for network, btw.

I seem to be mining but  I'm probably wasting my time because there isn't much results even though I like a challenge.

P.S. I like this coin and the difficulty with mining it really interests me.

What is your hashrate?

It is about 101.14 kH/sec. Maybe I’m doing something wrong?

I guess it's a typo and you have just 100 H/s.

I’m still pretty here and the question might be silly, but I still need help: can I use more than a single computer to mine into the same wallet?
I would appreciate if someone gives me a link o a comprehensive guide concerning this.
Thanks a lot.

This is my QCN mining guide https://gist.github.com/sammy007/0aeb289fde6537c9bc1f currently just in markdown format, I'll review it and post pdf version soon.

I'm wondering under which OS it will mine faster if the hardware is the same, MacOs or Windows or Linux?

For linux you can use Yam miner or wolf's cpuminer-multi and compare, yam seems faster. On windows - claymore CPU or yam or cpuminer-multi. Just compare. I'd stay linux for CPU mining and windows for AMD GPU mining with claymore GPU. With Nvidia cards I'll mine on linux too.
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Cloud BitMark Hosting Competition on: August 12, 2014, 03:35:13 PM
Why not donate some VPS to community and host bitmark services there? Website, a couple of nodes, irc bot and future services...
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmark on: August 12, 2014, 02:05:44 PM
Guys, let's vote on hitbtc, it's very solid exchange with USD and EUR pairs. Will be good for this coin.

Crypto Cloud Hosting

What about SSH access? What CC I can use for payments?
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Full privacy&data protection | Egalitarian PoW on: August 12, 2014, 09:08:17 AM
I'd like to see some status update, buy support fading away unfortunately. It's 4 times less coins than XMR, because of 2x longer block time and 2x less block reward. Need some marketing hit. Current price is ridiculous.

This week we're having a big release which will include some high-tech stuff and the GUI-wallet for Windows and Mac OS X as well.

Also we're looking forward to several articles about us in the media.

Looking forward to it, hope such news will bring some buy support as well as new miners and popularity.

Last hours we can see 15.x XMR block reward. I'll miss this time of abundance.

Dev, please wipe out dead pools from OP. Thanks.

Oh, hippo =) I mined it for fun using CPU. It was so long time ago...

Would it be smart to place some "smart" restrictions around high mixin? To help the blockchain size?

Like- Prevent it on "Dust" sized tx.

When we move to per-kb tx fees then there will be a linear relationship between the mixin level and the fee you pay, so that will discourage that. Ultimately, though, if someone makes a bunch of high mixin transactions, all they're doing is adding to the utxoset, and thus widening the anonymityset (which is a good thing:)

BTW, currently default mixin = 3 for node-cryptonote-pool. If you, guys, concern about it, probably it's will be good idea to submit a PR and change it to 0 by default.

Oh big day today..! Dgb to 400 Satoshi Smiley?

No way. These dumpers will kill every effort to bring price back at least to 100.

I think hitbtc is promising pool, what's why I prefer to mine there. I wonder who is using Xmining pool?

HitBTC is not a pool, I am wondering how you can mine on exchange. Please next time before posting please spend 1 minute to make it realistic.
