I don't know about that. After seeing what's happened in the space the last few weeks I reckon they would just use gold and issue their own gold certificates. BTC is better, no doubt, but it is just to unstable for now. |

I am in utter disbelief we just shouldn't be here.  You are right. But markets give 0 fucks about that. I am just angry that every penny of capital I have either already IS bitcoin, or I need for my family and cannot risk, though the risk grows smaller and smaller. Same here, I got 5.5 btc and $10,000 left in checking. Maybe I should get one of those bitcoin backed loans to buy more bitcoin. The benefit of that would be you don't have to pay it back because the company won't exist anymore. |

the feelings are currently worse than the actual decline %.
It is "only" 74% for the current low vs 84% in 2018.
I guess it is because of a larger $ numbers in play.
And the fact that we were dropping from height of a blow off top back in 2018....  not some pathetic x3 like this time... Yes, that is the big difference with this move. |

I don't beleive we have hit it till we see a bounce and at this rate that might be never. Seems right to me, either that or they are actually trying to destroy bitcoin here. I wonder if my partner buysolar read that and told me he thought 13k was bottom. Yes I'm panicking. Not going to mindrust though. |

This is an attack on Bitcoin. They are out to destroy us and it seems the exchanges have been forced to cooperate. That is the only excuse I can find for this mess.

lol  They will rekt these longs before market goes up any further. Many people reckon these are hedges of spot short positions What ever it is, it has something to do with these falls I know it. EDIT: Actually this is probably the whale/s who are driving the price down. By hedging with long futures it means they don't have to buy their short spot position back. The short trade does not need to be closed then, essentially preventing an increase in price. |
