Totally disappointed in this coin's performance.  I mean, you could pay your taxes with Bitcoins 3 weeks after it launched, right? Pardon the sarcasm, but let us please keep our unrealistic expectations in check. Steady wins the race friends, and we are already ahead of the curve in that respect. It seems very strange to me how many people are in the need of instant satisfaction and have super high expectations in the crypto they're investing money/time/resources in. I guess, deep inside, we all would like buy a new coin @1 satoshi and see it grow 100 000x the next day, but, seriously, keep your pants on. It's been only 3 weeks... And in no way I could say that the team is doing nothing. |

I have just downloaded the particle Qt and it looks nothing like it does on the first page...
It just looks like a normal qt with a HUGE P

I've been following this thread for a while now, since the battle between TheTelephone and everyone else was pretty damn entertaining. And in this clash of opinions I sometimes stop to wonder to which side should I lean. Should I trust guys posting meme pictures and random numbers, which they personally think the price of LEAF will be in the future or someone, who offers deeper trading insight and actual arguments.

In my eyes this clash of bitcoin elitists and ignorant altcoin supporters is really counter productive. A couple of non drastical solutions: * remove altcoin related forums from "Recent posts" section (I really can't understand why would anyone use it in a huge forum like this) * disable color/text size BBCode in the signatures (that would be a huge relief for all the eyes reading these forums) * add a couple of new subsections in altcoin section * add a couple mods dedicated to altcoin section * coin review before allowing an ANN thread (complicated, too many variables, no one will want to do that) * developer has to send an altcoin application-description with strict requirements before creating an ANN thread (less complicated, but with current attitude no one will want to review those too) * strict requirements for an ANN thread * instead of removing alts (if it will ever come to this), just move alts to the different forum ( http://alts.bitcointalk.org), could be quite a bit of work, but I think satisfy both sides. Still, scammers gonna scam and noobies gonna noob. Is there a tutorial on what to look out for in a new cryto currency? There should be one. And sticky. |

In the ideal world with unlimited resources of time and brain cells, I would develop a web-based sandbox RPG, where everyone could do quests, trade for weapons and food using crypto currency. The in-game world bank would be fueled by a dedicated pool, so you'd be able to improve your characters wealth by mining a particular coin. Like playing? Keep spending your coins for in-game items and character training. Want money? Withdraw and keep your char poor. Now someone go and steal this idea  stolen a month ago To the time machine! |

Not at the moment. I started super with super simple betting game and will now work to complete and polish core of the engine. I'm not a big fan of the games usually seen in crypto gambling websites, so I'm still not sure what direction will I take later on. I would like to think of something original or pseudo original, more oriented in to fun factor, not in the gambling one. Something less serious - that's more fun to develop We'll see how it goes. |
