I think choosing Kraken for launch didn't come as a coincidence. As Kraken holds one of the highest BTC trading volumes, it's safe to assume that ICONOMI is more focused on having BTC holders buying up ICN before it's traded on other Altcoin exchanges like Polo, if ever. It makes more sense, because in essence ICONOMI will be the forefront for altcoin trading, but BTC is currently more accessible to the general public when compared to Altcoins.
The next big step for ICONOMI isn't being listed on Polo (though it may help), rather being accessible for FIAT holders which would provide the exponential growth we're all looking for. Having implemented Cashila, I can see they have experience in this area, though for ICONOMI a better go to market strategy is needed.

Kraken is not approving new users there, I don't know why should I send them an ID to register and to be able to trade ICN, I am stucked with my ICN and can't trade there. @Iconomi any move in being listed in poloniex or yobit? Kraken does not list shitcoins.The reason for ICN not being on Poloniex or Bittrex yet I believe is because they have signed an agreement (NDA included) where they specify certain conditions ie. specific date for launch which does not clash other important launches like ZEC. Fully functional wallet at Iconomi platform, release of funds etc/or such. I hardly believe it's anything legal related. My guess would be that it's actually ICONOMI who forbids the token to be added. The very last what I think that these exchanges won't list the ICN because they don't show interest in it. That's a total BS and anyone claiming it is just making a total fool of him/herself. I didn't say kraken does list shitcoins, agreed about the rest of the post. Most probably it was due the zcash launch, in this week (I think) they will add it. |

He already confirmed that so obviously we should except another exchange soon. In the meantime , I'm stuck with this kraken shit with "Pre-verified" status : https://support.kraken.com/hc/en-us/articles/202965096-What-does-Pre-Verified-mean- as It's not available in my country (I never heard of an exchange limiting countries for crypto trading). Anyone here have an idea where else could I buy ICNs at the moment ? (Liqui and other unknown exchanges are not welcomed). well Kraken is an European exchange, so they have to comply to some laws... doesn't excuse their shitty interface though Kraken european exchange? lol.. they are based in US. Yep it's based in US but I think most volume of the exchange is made in euros (if I'm not wrong). |

That's not necessarily true. The platform could have bugs, might be delayed yet again or might not even get as much users as anticipated. I guess there could be a pump from speculators, but that would be it mostly at best. Just like most of the other altcoin platforms and projects. Speculation 'was implied'  .

Congratulations ICONOMI for a smooth launching. Kraken is so complicated.I don't understand their website,its not like others where placing buy sell order is so easy.Hope polo will add ICN very soon.
Yeah a lot of people don't like the UI (user interface) of kraken but it's really secure. can you explain how secure and UI are related?? I didn't say them are related, I only said kraken is more secure than poloniex (nothing else). Few people prefers security instead of a good UI. |
