Is it possible to do this with Rufus?

Investors who missed out will most likely see it as a time to buy in before the next wave.
News sites are reporting two conventions in New York made people "tired" of bitcoin.  However that affects price...they didn't specify.
I'm salty Avalon never took two orders during that high time as they didn't provide a payment address; can't afford them now.  Would have been 16TH for the pool.
Glad people are waking up to Kano being the best pool though.

How are the current block stats looking for the various firmware/hardware?
Like, who is the leader versus expected.

When warmer weather arrived I had to drop my 741's to use -2 for the voltage setting for the same reason, kept throttling up and down trying to keep cool. Using -2 now are quite happy and actually just a minor hit to speed. The 3x 721's so far are perfectly happy at default voltage setting.

re: dead s7/s9 boards, you might want to look at where the miners are running... At one time I was running 24 s7's and think only lost 3 boards in total. Most are now retired and replaced with 16 s9's from batch-1 on up and 4 t9's (so far). Only recently had my 3rd bad s9 board, currently at Bitmain Warranty in CO for paid repair - is from a batch-13. Ambient will hit up to 90F but is a clean area with no dirt/dust. Definitely have had several fans die of old-age as well but that is to be expected from any miner.

Edit: They shipped it, tracking number just wasn't correct.
Anyone ordered from them? I can't seem to get a hold of them for over a week for orders.

Thanks!
That worked great, it dropped the hash down to normal speeds, but the temps were low enough to keep the fans under 100% easy.
Right now I've got a paid order with them I'm waiting a few days on an update for, and support hasn't replied back in a week.
They use to be so fast at shipping and replying, something must be going on right now.

Anyone having issues ordering manually?
I get Bad Gateway when I try to checkout.
Got a ticket open for it but haven't heard back in a day.

I have another ticket asking about the voltage offset setting, as I don't want to edit it without them letting me know it's okay, but it's been almost a week on that one.

Having 2 units that are overheating every few minutes in 29C ambient.
All the others running perfect and above spec, sometimes hitting over 8TH.
0 failed chips so far that I know of.

To compare I only have 2 S9s left with all working boards, both the later batches which is unique; that's pitiful from Antminer.  Stacks of bad boards from the S7 as well, mostly the 700Mhz ones.  Early batches never had an issue and still running 5TH, but they were a premium and a gamble back then.

Edit: All resolved

Edit: Seems to just be the withdraw never gets announced.
Not hitting limit, and one did end up working.

--
Withdrawing seems to be frozen currently, if you withdraw, it will result in a double spend error and you will not be refunded.
I would recommend not withdrawing large amounts until we hear back from them.

I'm getting a double spend error when I try to withdraw from hashnest.
I put in a support ticket, but anyone else having this issue?
Seems to be happening quite a bit on various websites.
349  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: May 10, 2017, 07:37:38 PM
Also fees make up on average a 12% bonus of income from BTC blocks now, which aren't being paid to hashnest miners.
Not sure what is up with rewards for L3+ miner shares, on a few blocks, the reward is much lower than it should be as well, perhaps I am missing something.
The upfront fees are indeed attractive, but the lack of transaction fees for BTC is quite taxing now.

Sia does seem to be having some issues

Seems they took away the LTC BTC trade market.
I had some trades up there, but looks like perhaps my open trades were never cancelled, so the funds are stuck in the market place which doesn't exist now?

Odd, won't let me login via phone or pc, gets to the login page, times out during login.

In the top right corner, what does the first number in the two numbers for Hash Rate mean?
For example 46.54 / 44.50
The first is always higher, usually a larger amount than I should have, and the right I assume is my accepted rate pool side.

mc162BCT what method of connection are you using from the controller to public internet, Ethernet or wifi, connecting to what, which connects to what, etc?
Wifi is disabled by default, so use Ethernet first.
On my router, it used the first free IP from the range via DHCP IPv4.

I still have some speakers from creative labs  small world. Grin

back to mining

I have 3 of the avalon 721's nice gear

Me too! Quite a few products I think.
356  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon A7 announced on: April 27, 2017, 04:49:42 AM
Wanted to mentioned I updated the MM on the 741 and noticed no more self reboots so far which is good from the miners and more stable hash rate.
What all was changed, or was it just from the power cycling perhaps?
Hardware errors seem to be up a bit, but getting 7.8TH after invalids poolside with volt 0, so I'm not really going to complain haha.
I also took the 721 off of the controller, though I didn't have anything chained to it.  They get 6.5 TH Poolside +1 volt.

357  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon A7 announced on: April 26, 2017, 03:48:14 PM
I have been running a pair of A741's since Feb. 8. And aside from a forced reboot ( power outage for 39hrs after a huge windstorm a couple weeks ago) they have been running just fine.  Couple of things I noticed tho maby others can comment on.

1. Mine don't have the voltage offset option like the one Phil has in his screenshots. It's just not there.

2. They start off slow and take a few hours to "ramp up to speed" but from what I have seen from others here that's normal for the A7's.

3. My Pair seam to run a bit above spec. but they also draw a bit more power to. All I have to go on for power measurement is a kill-a-watt pro so that could be off a bit as Phil has one that's a bit hot as well. I'm getting 1405w at the wall with a evga 1600g2 with an avg hash rate of 8.358th on 1 machine and 1389w at the wall also with an evga 1600g2 with an avg hash rate of 8.261th on the 2nd machine. Just a bit over the 1150w @ the wall with 7.3th spec posted by Canaan.

I haven't measured my watt usage yet, also using 1600watt.  I am also getting around 8~TH though, so perhaps I might need to use -1 or -2 to give my PSU some extra overhead?
Though I think Phil said his power usage didn't change with those settings, not sure.
So far no issues though under 31C ambient as well.
I do have one 741 that is restarting every 15 minutes or so but pool hashrate doesn't seem to notice, but I need to update the MM for them all any way.
358  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon A7 announced on: April 26, 2017, 12:29:05 AM
Review on the 721 and 741.
So far zero issues, and no reboots required since I first powered them on.
I have owned the 721 for about 4 months and the 741s for 3 months.
Controller works great as well, no issues.
Heat management seems much better and even than my S5, s7, s9.
So far it seems they're running at 0 (default) volt setting, but doing about 10% more hashrate than advertised.
Their first wave of summer heat will be the true test.
No failed chips or boards and no hash rate drop.

Are there any plug and play type cases and risers?
You provide the computer and cards?
I have a mix of 3 16x and 3 1x pcie, wanting to put 6 cards raised in an open or closed case.
