841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blakecoin based Counter-Strike 1.6 Server on: May 15, 2014, 06:26:30 PM
This is a really smart idea, plans on doing this with other games?

No plans currently. People have asked me to do a similar setup with a person vs environment style game, rather than this person vs person setup in CS.

Did you have anything specific in mind?

Unrelated note: You can now see your withdrawal and deposit history in game via the blc_listwit and blc_listdep commands.

I know 7 days to die is popular but I don't think it would be possible in Alpha?
Minecraft?
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are there hashing algorithms which are both ASIC and GPU resistant? on: May 15, 2014, 06:23:02 PM
Riecoin seems to be currently CPU only, and I like the coin's algorithm, finding primes.
843  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners (Scrypt ASIC seller) independent feedback thread on: May 14, 2014, 07:43:59 PM
I just found this thread and it is so disheartening to find out the "other" GAW thread was so moderated.

I've been getting the run-around on my gridseed blades (which are getting outdated every passing day), and am nearing the point where I just want out of the ASICs game (so much for their CEO's talk of wanting to turn the industry around).

I'm curious, has anyone successfully processed a return with GAW and not be out of pocket? Has anyone had to resort to paypal dispute resolution yet?

The CEO seems to really care if you PM them about the issue on here, I have had issues and where tickets failed, a PM fixed things quick.
I'd let him know about the issue first, see if they can fix it, then mention putting in the order dispute if you can't resolve this(I think its a 60 day cut off?)
Paypal needs you to do this anyway for "attempt to resolve issue with other party first" if I recall right.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] ipoMiner - Profitable multipool targeting new coins on: May 14, 2014, 07:00:55 PM
Long story short, can the pool get on newer coins sooner and hide what we are mining for a while?  I, like GunPowder am all for that!

I'd like to take a little more risk as well!  The earlier we can get on the better.

I agree with this as well, it's sort of what IPOminer was like before it got popular and regularly had more than 1GH.
Using a placeholder coin name would be a good start?

After this commercial break!
...
It's West coin!
[Photoshopped image of Westcoin in above image]

And I doubt the average miner could guess what coin is being mined based on block reward times, difficulty, etc.
Just a suggestion!
Maybe delay the profitability formula instead on brand new coins?  I forgot which recent coin it was, but it wasn't traded yet but we mined it any way.  Ended up being worth around .02 BTC MH when it matured and traded!
845  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: May 12, 2014, 11:01:25 PM
Bittrex has become excruciatingly laggy. It constantly freezes all my browsers. Anyone else having this issue? I like the selection of coins and the chance to catch new coins, but I am seriously considering removing all funds and calling it quits. It has become nearly unusable.

I get this as well, though the back end itself seems more responsive than most exchanges so I'm just tolerating it.
846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RIC] Riecoin, new prime numbers POW coin, NEW 0.91 CLIENT on: May 12, 2014, 05:47:14 PM
Are there any special instructions for making the stand alone miner on Ubuntu 13 64bit?
Such as AVX or AES flags for CPUs that support it?
What's the example command line to use for Windows solo mining would be optimal?
Should only run one instance per hardware correct?

848  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners (Scrypt ASIC seller) independent feedback thread on: May 11, 2014, 03:28:25 AM
My friend's ASIC is down, and mine is still doing under 50%.
Well, at least the pain of missing out on SC mining at .02BTC MH is over and scrypt mining is back to baseline.
$4 a day right now on my $1600 blade.  ROI with GAW Miners is currently not looking possible.
Ordered it almost a month ago, and I've made maybe around .70BTC/$360 back including their double hash promotion.
I need to get that 5.2MH+ at least on average to stand a chance, and they have not delivered this average.

Jeff got it sorted out, thanks Jeff, make sure you get a raise.
Make sure you get a copy of the emails going to the main support email, as that's where I emailed first and got no real response.
Now to fix this: Last 24h Profits   0.00578953 BTC ouch normally is  .02 + even with LTC.  Least things are back to normal speed.

Great launch great coin to mine.
850  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAW Miners- THE WAR MACHINE 54MH Miner!! on: May 09, 2014, 06:46:32 PM
With ASICS I believe the selling price is relative to the hashing power's value.
I'd pay three times the current price for a 5MH asic 3 months ago, and two times 2 months ago.
Most likely all producers are "burning them in/testing" and depending on the profit they can get running them vs selling them determines the price.
It usually seems to be around 100 days ROI based on current MH/BTC, though the difficulty curve has been more swift than that recently.

If someone had a 22nm ASIC, I doubt they'd even start selling it until daily profit was becoming less than what they'd make in 100~ days vs selling it and investing in something better(I'd probably buy X11 GPU farm hosting GAW).

So with GAW Miner's previous existing order upgrade to the new 5.2MH blades, they pretty much let everyone get a reset on their EOL at a deal.
That is quite honorable and was what brought me here, hopefully we get something similar this round =D

Also thanks for the stability update, went from 5.2 to 5.5MH 24 AVG
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Most profitable CPU coin to mine? on: May 08, 2014, 05:45:09 PM
X11 CPU mining is suppose to still be profitable.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | ASIC Resistant on: May 08, 2014, 05:24:25 PM
Are the CPU miner links out dated?
None of them seem to work with current X11 pools.  It starts the threads for the CPU then kills itself without a crash or log.
Scrypt works however.  I am using -a X11

have the same but on coinmine.pl:6090 stratumeu works fine use all. One oof them works for me

Post in the forum mining section. https://darkcointalk.org/forums/mining.3/

I will help.

I'm wondering if it's the pool that rejects it?

854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Official X11 Thread (updated daily) on: May 08, 2014, 04:50:49 PM
Anyone have a working CPU miner for X11?
It's suppose to be quite efficient, but none of them work for me.
My Scrypt minerd/cpuminers work fine, but the ones from Darkcoin for example, do not fully work.  They crash shortly after starting the threads up.
I'm using -a X11 which it reports is fine before it crashes.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NiceHash.com - rig owners needed - get paid more than mining on multipool! on: May 07, 2014, 06:25:02 PM
Any plans to add x11?
To me it should be a popular algo for all the GPU owners during summer.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] ipoMiner - Profitable multipool targeting new coins on: May 07, 2014, 05:48:07 PM
Thanks for adding x11 coins, I'll be moving my GPUs over when it's online to test it out.
Vertcoin I hear added merged mining which is a big deal for scrypt-n.
857  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAW Miners- THE WAR MACHINE 54MH Miner!! on: May 07, 2014, 05:10:42 PM
if we get the price difference credited back to us I will just use those coins to place another order, so win win for both of us Smiley
Ditto, if I get the difference in price back in coins or credit, I'll be ordering another ASIC that day, maybe 2 depending on the deal.
Also wanted to say like everyone else I got my doublehash promo and it made me Smiley
858  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: GAW Miners- THE WAR MACHINE 54MH Miner!! on: May 06, 2014, 03:59:27 AM
It seems they are cheaper elsewhere...

A week after receiving two blades from GAW, Zoomhash now has them for $1100.  Is there price protection there?

There is another reseller selling for $829 including shipping.

I have seen them also, but their forum also has numerous complaints about getting DOA units, then having to pay for the shipping, and taking weeks for a return.
Though some get lucky and have no issues.  Also no warranty at all, if it dies it's over, can only return DOA units.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: deleted thread on: May 05, 2014, 05:48:57 PM
Should give Shibe a haircut for the summer and do x11.
Would be the perfect summer coin to tip.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]SummerCoin|POS|Trade on poloniex and bittrex on: May 03, 2014, 07:19:14 PM
Does http://summercoinpool.com/ work?
There doesn't seem to be any withdraw or wallet option after signing up, and haven't received anything.

Yes, I did recieved payment. I don't clearly remember, but I think you entered wallet address when you registered. Otherwise, I don't know how did they guessed my address to send me coins.

Chunkypool payout as well, I did recieve my coins today.

Cool I entered my Summercoin address on sign up, just odd I can't change it lol.
What pool do you all recommend?
