Is this coin meant to be mined?
Putting 5 i7's on it all day, and this will mine around 1-2 coins a day.  At the highest price, this results in less income than electric.

I'm trying to send using cryptonited, but I get this error:
error: {"code":-3,"message":"Invalid amount, too short"}
cryptonited sendtoaddress CS7BStDpSWvixRS99T3Twp9zQUBaA9mqKG 10

Exact format needs to be 10 decimal places with the "ep" at the end.  Please ignore the vague troll-ish instructions above.
./cryptonited sendtoaddress mvqH4czVQg2HdGpkV7PWVZJpRXVwLnMXpN "30.0100000000ep"

Explained, for anyone sincerely interested in knowing why this was done:
http://cryptonite.info/wiki/index.php?title=Cryptonite_API#A_note_about_EP_amounts

Thanks that worked!
Edit: guess I should have read

Has improved, getting 84% of expected hash rate, accounting for bad shares(which are now only 4-5%)
[2014-08-05 00:48:41] accepted: 905/944 (95.87%), 425.24 khash/s (yay!!!)
Edit: 88%~ currently, so things are improving.

Why Nist5 no miners coins worth 0?
I'm mining on 7770 NIST5 as well, it's reporting my hashrate correct, but saying 0 shares each round and no rewards, but have 40/40 valid shares on miner.
Seems to be working now, though estimated 1 coin for 24 hours of mining with a i7-4770.
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EQB] [REBOOT...] EquestrianBit - currency of friendship on: August 04, 2014, 07:54:06 PM
I would be okay with a change, as long as we could trade our current EQB to the new coin.
Lots of new hot/cool algos out.
Plus, winter is coming, back.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but anything new with this?
New games?
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCN] Cryptonite | 1st mini-blockchain coin | M7 PoW | No Premine on: August 04, 2014, 07:46:50 PM
Any pools not listed?
1GH seems to be the only one running right now.
And there is a problem with 1GH. When I put on it 400KH - it shows 400KH, but when I put on it 12 Mh it shows 6Mh. Where is 50 of power?
Please append some unique ids to your mining addresses, like ADDRESS.SERVER1, ADDRESS.SERVER2 and so on to get better vardiff and hashrate utilizaition.

Even with just 1 400KH miner, it's maxing out at around 250KH on the pool.
What miner did you use to get a solid 400KH on the pool might I ask?
I'm using the pool's Linux one compiled from github.

Thanks for the pool Smiley only one working right now.

However I'm only getting 65% of my hashrate on the pool, accounting for bad shares as well(9%).
This 250KH is max on the pool I've seen, dips down to 220 at times.
Miner is showing 422KH +-15KH.
This is over the past hour, and is just 1 computer.
Edit: Also is there a way to set a custom difficulty ?

Each optimization I tested worked on my CPU - I don't have all CPUs, so I can't test. That much of a reduction is odd, though... are you sure the test wasn't affected by other factors?

It's quite a difference. I have 8 of those monster servers that are freshly installed (+updated) with Ubuntu 14.04.
They are all identical and unused (no running services, crons etc..) but the results are rather inconsistent across each so perhaps something else could be influencing things.
I'll dig a bit deeper and see if anything comes of it.

Going to check this out as well, running it without the optimizations.

Without optimizations:

[2014-08-03 00:59:08] accepted: 7/7 (100.00%), 194.69 H/s at diff 5000 (yay!!!)

With:

[2014-08-03 01:00:36] accepted: 4/4 (100.00%), 369.24 H/s at diff 5000 (yay!!!)

[2014-08-03 01:00:52] accepted: 6/6 (100.00%), 369.14 H/s at diff 5000 (yay!!!)

Crazy how efficient those optimizations are.
Though sadly needs to be around 440+ or so for current difficulty to break even.

I am asking for option -superfee and pay 10% of earnings for 100% more hashes.
I would be okay with this as well =)

Speaking of Christian, he hasn't posted since July 12th.

Anybody heard from him in any way?

Just hoping everything is OK with him.

note quite okay, been sick for 2 weeks, but based on what I know it's not fatal. At least I've got that going for me. :-)
i missed your post. Get better Christian, I still owe you some more beers.   Grin Really get well soon.

That is terrible to hear! Hopefully not sick enough to drink haha.
Get better soon!
Flu or?

Is there a thread for the Nvidia Cryptonite miner for Windows?
If not, where is it currently downloaded from?

I'm getting 180 MH/S with the Minergate GPU miner with my Nvidia 780TI ... Obviously this is not accurate, but is it actually mining effectively?
Same with 750 TI
Doesn't show up as any hash rate on the pool, so this does not work for me at all.

Did you get paid from the pool yet?
I'm just mining from the wallet, using minerd, though just 2 CPUs right now.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Unfinished CryptoNight OpenCL (AMD) miner on: July 31, 2014, 06:47:54 PM
I'd be happy with Wolf0 having a dev fee as long as the miner was the most efficient.
I do think 5% is a bit much, but I do use Claymore's so...guess it's not too much for me lol.
I also donated directly to Wolf0 all my week's mining with the first stock CPU miner, as I then got around 1.8x faster once I switched and was sooo happy.
Now though, the only profitable method for me is GPU, and I just got some CPUs sitting here idle.

Is hashharder the first pool for this?
