3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: July 13, 2019, 10:06:59 PM
The most painful experience when promoting a bounty project is thinking you made a right choice by removing the signature of the project you are promoting presently for another project that you think its better and later on? Grin

The first project you are promoting get listed and doubled in value ,how will you feel? Damn! The fact is bounties are unpredictable sometimes ,no one can predict the end results
That is why careful analysis sometimes misses. Many factors are unthinkable, making these tokens popular and the price is high after being marketed. Then, patience is needed, and sincerity to join the bounty. Luck beats everything.
Actually what you say is absolutely correct, but even patience is not enough to wait for the price of the token you have to increase. and back again with what you say "the luck beats everything". Grin

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it more profitable to Hold BTC or buying a lower price and selling at higher? on: September 29, 2018, 04:06:29 PM
hello experts,
Is it more profitable to Hold BTCBTC or buying a lower price and selling at higher?
Thanks,

Buying a lower price and selling at higher mean you still need to hold your BTC right ? in order to meet your sell requirement to get benefit from here. Usually, more long you hold your cryptocurrency more profit you gain from here, even though it depend on market.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: September 23, 2018, 09:17:10 PM
I'm not one who would invest in precious metals, but I have noticed that a good amount of the older generations are pretty keen in investing in these metals. They see it as a way to bet against the market, and a security that will always be safe -- even in the times of a market downturn/country failure as a whole.

I personally wouldn't even want to buy these metals in those events, as I don't see the reason to. I'd rather invest in securities that go up when the market shits itself (Payroll lending companies and so on and so forth)

Does anyone here know the reason behind people loving precious metals?

I believe the main reason they invest only gold or silver because some of them or all of them already getting profit from it, so they not need other investment again or too afraid investing to something they didn't know.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the existence of bitcoins a threat to jobs and national currencies? on: September 23, 2018, 09:08:20 PM
We all know how powerful bitcoins are especially in financial terms. Having one makes you feel like a newly-crowned king ready for his throne and lux. Its value and essence is something that we cannot just ignore, resulting for some people relying on these 'God-given grace' instead of working hard and gaining the money that their own country uses. Some thought that it would be better off to have bitcoins and convert it into any kind of currency rather than to get a job and earn some thing. What do you think? Will bitcoin be able to eclipse the existence of national currencies in the near future?

Bitcoin might be threat to Fiat currency, but why you think Bitcoin can be threat to jobs to ? Bitcoin is like other currency it's just for payment or trading, you do your jobs, you gain your Bitcoin.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is independent? or depends on fiat currency on: September 23, 2018, 09:05:10 PM
Bitcoin was created to provide independence from Government control to the users.  But I think it is not so independent.

It depends on fiat currency especially the Dollar for it's valuation.

My question is ; we are measuring it's value in dollars.  So is not it true that Bitcoin is dependent on fiat currency for it's existence?

Please share whatever views you are having.

Kindly correct me if I am wrong.

So when you want to sell your Bitcoin, what kind things you want to get equally to your one Bitcoin ?
It's like changing your currency to Fiat currency, or changing Fiat currency to gold with same values or trade it to get thing you want.
I don't know why you thinking this in first place.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Change Your Mind About Bitcoin on: September 23, 2018, 07:58:12 PM
Many people express different types of bitcoin. Someone says Bitcoin is not a currency. Again someone says that Bitcoin is only a bubble, it will never be universally recognized. Some countries have banned Bitcoins so that illegal activities will not be increased in the country. Because some of time bitcoin use for terror works. Some people say that investment in bitcoin is not profitable. There are some other such complaints about Bitcoin.

But the funny thing is that even though there are so many complaints, Bitcoin has become popular all day around the world. I think we need to change our mind about bitcoin's. Cool

Really, people's complaints about Bitcoin are correct?

Everyone can complain as long it is real thing that really happen in Bitcoin, but the problem is some of the complain to Bitcoin because they just hate cryptocurrency, that kind human need to educate themselves more before it's too late for them.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who will benefit the most from bitcoin/cryptocurrency? on: September 22, 2018, 08:34:46 PM
I have a friend who is interested in getting into bitcoins but he does not have a lot of savings or any major investments. He also has a lot of debts to pay and has an average wage job with a family of 4 to raise. When we were talking yesterday, I thought: who really would benefit the most from investing in bitcoin or cryptocurrency? Can those who are like my friend get into bitcoin even though he has no major investment? Or is bitcoin only for those who can afford it?

I think everyone can invest in Bitcoin no matter how much they have, because Bitcoin not set minimum investment, so your friend still can gain benefit from it, the only thing he should do after investing in Bitcoin is learn crypto currency more to avoid some mistake that newbie usually do.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in going down, is it bad...? on: September 16, 2018, 06:13:40 PM
Bitcoin is now at about 6k$...

I bought tons of bitcoin when the price was at 3k$ and then sold at about 17k$, I made profits then, but now I don't think that the price can go up again...
Will it?

I can't guarantee it, but i think you have more experience about this because you buy ton of bitcoin when it's price still 3k$ and get profit from it. I believe you already know your answer if you really do that.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: DO NOT SELL! JUST HODL - You've not loss any money if you haven't sold. on: September 16, 2018, 12:32:28 PM
Bitcoin dipped to 7500$ and i think now it is danger zone could go to 3000$-4000$ again.
Good chance for newcomers, sorry for those who bought bitcoin at 18,000$ an 11,000$ Cheesy

What do you think? How low bitcoin can go?

Just hodl it

Yes you are right, some people who sell their Bitcoin that because they afraid losing their money and they just want do short time investment in here and some people still didn't know about cryptocurrency works.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do with the current market? on: September 16, 2018, 12:23:45 PM

Looking at the current market, many people are disappointed in the market price, bitcoin prices stomping at the $ 7000 level, altcoin prices are falling deeply. Recent good news, however, shows that the market continues to grow and has great potential in the future. What would you do this time: Buy bitcoin, buy altcoin or do nothing?

I will buy Bitcoin more if I have spare money this time, sadly for now I have many things to buy, so best things that I can do for now is just hold my Bitcoin and patiently wait until it's price better than when I buying it.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: When will people feel comfortable using BTC ? on: September 15, 2018, 03:33:51 PM
People surely feel comfortable when Bitcoin price keep stable, it will make people feel more comfortable when they want to do transaction and i think when bad news about bitcoin reduced.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: The panic seller irony on: September 09, 2018, 12:43:14 PM
I know some coworkers that sold BTC today, they are real casuals, they got into BTC because they heard it went up a lot, they don't know even to set a local wallet so they store their coins on Coinbase or wherever the fuck they buy at.

Well, they sold today at at the dip near the $4000 double bottom.

The irony is, these casuals are the ones that are always complaining about how it's unfair that BTC is distributed in the hands of few whales, YET, they are the ones that constantly panicsell and give their cheap BTC back to these same hands they are complaining about, because guess who is profiting the most on these dumps: whales. They buy lots of cheap BTC.

If you want whales to stop having so much BTC, don't panic sell or you will keep feeding them. Just focus on your own portfolio and keep stacking BTC on the dips. In the long term, we will win.

Sadly something like is common thing in cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin. They only know success story about other people make they interest in here, but aware about how risky Bitcoin without knowledge about it.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining? on: September 09, 2018, 12:36:11 PM
As we all know that smartphones are just like computer nowadays that has strong storage capacity and processor. This I think could be enable to mine bitcoin and this is what I am waiting for if there are any smartphones company that would offer their smartphones for bitcoin mining or even as a smartphone that works as digital hardware wallet for bitcoin and other crypto. I am waiting for it to happen. Do you think that it will happen?

This is will not happen because everyone use their smartphone for communication not for something like this. Why you should use your smartphone when you can use your computer ?
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook now joining btc? on: September 09, 2018, 12:25:21 PM
Is this a good time for Facebook to try new kinds of stuff. Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg has become the world's third richest man in the world and he has achieved all that just because of technology and a right idea, So do you guys think he will now at least think about experimenting to take bitcoin as a payment method in facebook. I think that will surely change a lot of people's mind around the world and they can freely put some money on facebook business.

I believe if this happen many investor will interest to Bitcoin and make Bitcoin prices raise again, but I doubt this will happen, because I think he not need Bitcoin right now.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I LOVE PANIC SELLERS on: September 08, 2018, 11:59:49 PM
People go here and there spooling, spreading and propagating FUD to get on peoples emotions and to put them on PANIC MODE just so they sell their BTC, and you know what, PANIC SELLERS in these industry are LAZY, they can't and won't research and understand after lots of rise and fall in these year that the KING of all digital currencies is just going through a phase.

I personally Love PANIC SELLERS, and I hope there can be a section on these platform where they register so that people like me can contact them to buy CHEAP from they..

GRACIAS PANIC SELLERS, MUCH LOVE TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE BLESSING FUTURE MILLIONAIRES WITH YOUR COIN

Actually most of them who panic when seeing Bitcoin prices is new investor in here, I believe they lack knowledge about cryptocurrency that's why they surprised seeing market like that and selling their coins to prevent loss.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People call bitcoin a fraud or ponzi scheme on: September 08, 2018, 07:58:27 PM
Anyone can call it ponzi scheme and fraud but if you think of it, everything worldly is fraud. You buy apple products with thousands of dollars but how much are they really worth? Why would people give out thousands of dollars for a macbook when they can buy a laptop for $300? Is it really worth that much or is it just another ponzi scheme that apple is bringing to the world better gadgets than any other brands? So we're talking about bitcoin now. What are we really paying for when we buy bitcoin? We pay for an online program and the people running the program helping transactions go through, or we call mining. Miners put in so much time and most especially the cost of mining is so much. That is merely the reason why bitcoin will cost much and if incase it will dive too low and will not be enough to pay for miners, then that could be the time bitcoin will die, or not.

I believe most of them saying something like this with zero knowledge about cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin, I think they just not interest about Bitcoin that's why they saying like that.
