1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: October 06, 2019, 12:08:42 PM
In my opinion, 3-4 altcoins (together with BTC) will remain being popular in the near future. (I strongly believe that Libra will be one of them). I hope there won't be thousands of altcoins people invested as now.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many ICO / altcoin scams? on: October 06, 2019, 12:05:48 PM
I think it is inappropriate to tell "you did not understand crypto" if people are complaining about fake ICOs. Simply consider the following scenario: I take the idea of very good ICO and copy them. I am advertising the project better than the original idea. So if you understood crypto, would not you invest my project?

The fake ICOs cause "trust problem" to crypto. People are right to complain...
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are investors still complaining? on: October 06, 2019, 12:02:33 PM
I myself sometimes complain about fraud ICOs and unstable market. I was very brave while investing many different projects before, but now even if an X coin has 100M USD Market cap, I approach them as if they are insecure to invest. I think the main problem is "trust"
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Skycoin? on: October 06, 2019, 11:56:50 AM
9M Market cap coin was very appealing for me to invest some money, 2-3 years ago. Now I recommend my friends not to invest any many if market cap is below 50M. The market is not stable at all, and give chance to Skycoin if it can reach that level.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: October 06, 2019, 11:53:25 AM
Well, most of the cryptocurrencies will go to zero if some of them are used instead of real currencies. This would actually be good for many of the people and the crypto world as well. Instead of having thousands of coins, I would rather prefer to have only 3-4 strong coins.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ???? AFRAID OF NEW PROJECTS !!! ? on: October 05, 2019, 06:02:09 PM
Well, recent new projects do not seem to me as good as the old ones. Only Libra is the exciting one to me. We together will see the futures of neew projects.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ALTCOINS going green! on: July 20, 2018, 08:21:07 AM
They did go green, and turned back to red. I lost my trust to alt coins a little bit and I reduced my altcoin investment portion significantly, in my portfolio. I bought more BTC with them.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is exchange? on: July 20, 2018, 08:19:12 AM
It is always possible, even with a very small probability, biggest exchanges can be hacked by the others. For the long term, it is not the safest way to keep your BTC and altcoins there. (saying that, I still keep them on exchanges for trading)
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet still work? on: July 20, 2018, 08:15:10 AM
Why not? It's just a way to use your offline wallet, once you've created a wallet there, keeping private key, you can access that wallet via mew or other platforms. It is just working good at the moment.

For those who use VPN, I suggest them not to make any operation on mew or exchanges using your password!
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves vs. Bitcoin on: July 20, 2018, 08:14:05 AM
Well, even if WAVES provides more speed than BTC, it may not be as valuable as BTC. I was an old fan of WAVES, but I did not like the way the team proceeds, so I took all my investment back (keeping tokens coming regularly, even some of the token names arejust ads, created by others  Roll Eyes).
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: do you think Altcoin can last for next 5 years? on: July 20, 2018, 08:12:21 AM
Well 5 years is not a long time. Let's make it 15 years, then my thought would be that much less alts will remain until that time. I believe BTC, ETH and some top-10 coin will stay until that but many low market coins now will melt away.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in Altcoins give more profits than Bitcoin on: July 20, 2018, 08:09:10 AM
In the bear market, altcoins are more profitable than BTC. Maybe you can wait for that, buy some alts, but right after having enough profit for you I suggest you to go BTC in case of a market crush, since it is much safer than alts.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which is best coin for long term hold? on: July 20, 2018, 08:08:04 AM
For long term hold, you should definitely have some BTC. Apart from that, you may consider having NEO, ETH and NEBL (much smaller coin among the others at the moment). And do not forget to stay patient for your profit Smiley
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be patient for your profit on: July 20, 2018, 08:07:23 AM
If you wait a year or a couple of months you get much more profit.

Right after this message, people get a huge profit than market crushed, however people still have profit. I expect the similar behaviour on the market in late 2018 and early 2019 and I am patient for that profit!
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy? on: July 20, 2018, 08:05:08 AM
It's not for sure. In my case, I collect BTC and ETH for long term investment like at least 5 years, so I buy BTC for example from 6k USD to 9k USD. For altcoins, I decided to wait a little bit more, market can bleed more.   Roll Eyes
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is back ? is that good time to invest ? on: July 20, 2018, 07:55:31 AM
It is always a good idea to invest in BTC and ETH. But I cannot say the same for the other coins right now. I am losing my hope about the future of the altcoins.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long time holding, is it a smart thing to do? on: July 20, 2018, 07:54:00 AM
I am a long time holder and I do not regret it. If I did trade, I would lose a lot. The only thing that I do is when a coin increases unnecessarily, I sell it because I know that it will be dumped in several hours.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: July 20, 2018, 07:50:44 AM
If you do not live in a 3rd world country or worse, banks are still safer in my view. But if you do not trust your country's government regarding economical acts, you can keep your money in crypto, of course.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get fast rich in crypto world. on: July 20, 2018, 07:46:50 AM
You should be very very lucky to get fast rich in this world because the golden era where all the prices turn into bubbles has past. Now, only several coins will survive if cryptocurrency will be literally used.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people want ETH to over come BTC on: July 20, 2018, 07:44:40 AM
Simply because they have ETH. Because it has a smaller marketcap currently, if ETH over comes BTC, they will have a huge profit from it. I have both BTC and ETH but ETH's over coming BTC does not sound realistic to me.
