You were saying? ^_^

So what you're saying is you send them some bitcoins, they maaaaybe order stuff online for you with some extra fees added on top of it, and then send it to your home address?? All with an untraceable currency thats impossible to get backcharges with??

So tell me how this is in any way better than me doing exactly the same thing with dollars on amazon without any extra fees or risk of being scammed?

Don't mind the ponzi troll. The price drop is deliberate market manipulation, whether its an attack or just a speculator manipulating the market for his own gain is debatable but whats certain is anyone selling at these prices is playing into his hands.

Crashes like this have happened multiple times and the only people who win are the people who cash out at the point before it drops. Everyone else effectively loses. As with a ponzi scheme the only people who "win" are the people who put money in early and get money out early before the entire thing becomes uneconomical.

Screaming "UGH TROLL!! TROLL!" just because you don't agree with someone doesn't make you smart or correct, either, by the way.

I'm in this for the long run regardless, I don't think I'll be selling Bitcoin in the exchanges any time soon, I'll be using it as a currency, it amazes me how people are still utterly convinced that paper money is 'real' money.

Ah okay, I'm gonna go and on amazon and buy some cool stuff with my bitcoins right now. Oh right I can't because no sane website would accept payment in something that jumps around like a pogo stick.

What's that USD? backed by the GDP of america?? Why yes amazon, I will give you some of these.

Stop pretending to be some master of industry when what you're doing basically amounts to trading rocks with other idiots while going "yeah well now it's worth TWICE as much!! Deal with that!!"

Bitcoin is a giant ponzi scheme and the only winners are the ones that get out first. After that, it crashes.
654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You are all dumb and got warned this would happen. on: April 11, 2013, 07:28:07 PM
Grats, you won in a zero sum game by cashing out at the right point. Somewhere along the line someone loses that much money.
655  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop freaking out. We lost 2 weeks & returned to a sane exponential line. on: April 11, 2013, 07:26:59 PM
Personally I don't care if bitcoins are $10 or $500 what I do want is for them to be STABLE. If they became stable we could actually use them as a currency rather than a speculative vehicle.

Pretty much this, if bitcoins had stable value instead of stupid bubbles then it might be useful but as it is now it's so unstable trying to trust in it is a waste of time and money.

Okay you're clearly too stupid to understand terms that have existed for hundreds of years, bye.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTCs Test of Character on: April 11, 2013, 07:21:53 PM
The invisible hand of the market is a lie, bitcoin is powered by the greed of idiots and attempting to convince people otherwise is ethically wrong.
658  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt. Gox - BTC exchange with a reputation of "free" market economy on: April 11, 2013, 07:20:58 PM
A "natural" economy is one that occurs because the system it is in (in this case, bitcoin exchange) tends towards having a single body which dominates it.
659  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop freaking out. We lost 2 weeks & returned to a sane exponential line. on: April 11, 2013, 07:18:42 PM
No, I lost a lot in the first crash and lost faith in bitoin. Trying to convince people the same way is no crime, it's basically charity.
660  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt. Gox - BTC exchange with a reputation for free market economy on: April 11, 2013, 07:17:37 PM
The more people use MtGox, the more trade volume increases (and hence liquidity) And hence new traders find it more attractive to use. Hence whichever exchange is largest will tend to remain that way. This makes it a natural monopoly.

Is this too difficult to understand?
