I am investing much bigger portion of my money to ETH. I believe that both ETH and BTC values will be much higher than current, but ETH will increase faster, considering the current price of BTC.

There are some times, that we see that most of the altcoin values are decreased (due to some important coin-related news). Anytime except those times are convenient for altcoin investment. I have experienced and learnt that if all the people say that "this time is the best time for altcoin investment", then it is not.

Both of them works fine. Best choice is not to choose one of them, and also not to choose two of them, split your money with different percentages; put some of them to ETH, some LTC, some BTC and WAVES. Reduce the risk of losing (and also winning) but ensure the profit.

I would go with Ledger, since you can put many kind of altcoins to it. It provides more option than Trezor.

I suggest you to take a big portion of your money and put them to Waves, ETH, BTC. For the other small portion, (with some research) buy small supply, cheap POS tokens and wait for them to make 10x 20x in the long term. Eventually, you will make a profit.

I do not think so. In order to do that, all big exchange websites like Bittrex should change the trade option to Bitcoin Cash for the first step. As a traditional way of trading in this crypto currencies, I think BTC will be the 'king' for next years.
However, anything is predictable, it may be. Be prepared.

It is not too much money, I think you should risk that money. Make research, search for the coins which will have at least x2 x3 improvement and trade your money. For the stability, you can choose ETH. Some people think that it will die soon, I do not think so. I also like NEM (XEM) coin, it has a good future.
