301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UFO] UFOCOIN | NEOSCRYPT | NOW ON BITTREX | COMING FROM OUTER SPACE on: November 11, 2014, 03:12:52 AM
Hold on folks, I am trying to find a fix. I am aware of it

good new is that i was mining nutspool 24h
i got 100%+++ coins expected with my hashspeed, so diff adjust is ok

for now i seems there is some hidden pool or lots of solo miners out there

UFO is on IPO miner now which is a Neoscrypt Mutlipool so when UFO is more profitable than FTC all miners on IPO miner are shifted to UFO then once the diff is pushed up through the roof they shift back to FTC leaving all the full timers on UFO stuck on a high difficulty

yup the multipool rape starts all over again. disappointing really, multiport multipools are a menace in this world. was getting about 0.020 btc with my rigs and now lucky to see 0.011 and lower thanks to the multipool.

So, how many times has LTC died?

i never said it was already dead, i said it will die in its own time.

bots and market manipulations is killing crypto slowly.i think trading bots would be one of the worst things to happen to crypto

its not just that, its the constant sell pressure SSD is getting and has been none stop..... who the hell is the dumb fuck who keeps dumping..... Angry
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: November 10, 2014, 09:08:21 AM
ping coblee and ltc community

Hello everyone, surprising to see LTC is still around despite, well, short recap: massive price manipulations on btc-e in 2013 - a million new altcoins being created with various alternative algorithms - scyrpt Asics finally putting gpu-mining out of business and centralizing the network - the great altcoin fall of 2014, and finally, some people are still waiting for LTC on Gox.

I have some questions for you:

How is ROI doing for any scrypt coins these days? Will scrypt even have a future? How about used Asic miners (Gridseed blades can be bought for relatively cheap right now) Would anyone even bother, is there any purpose in buying one or two to make a late transition from gpu-mining? Bitmain has apparently stopped/no interest in selling another batch of their L1's. Hmmm

How about Litecoin development? I see very little information on that here. Is there still a community, and where is it? Litecoin forum? Btc-e chat? (probably died after they introduced their 100USD limit for the trollbox, which believe it or not, used to be a chatroom for Ltc enthusiasts) Reddit? Where is everyone? Obviously not on bitcointalk.

Cheers!

as it stands LTC has no plans for any real future development. they are just going to stay scrypt and add nothing to compete with other alt's. soon to die off slowly more then likely. and as for scrypt asics i really wouldn't waste your time buying one as chances are your ROI will take alot alot alot longer then you would like. given a 100 mhs miner only gives about $13.54 US a day or 0.03657 BTC at current difficulty's, which is pretty weak considering. it really does seem the scrypt asic race will burn itself out very fast and they will all just be expensive paper weights in no time.

as for LTC it needs to move to a new cleaner algo thats not an X variant and put the power back into the hands of miners and not cooperations that can afford millions of mhs to screw out the other miners. which wont happen anyway given that was already discussed. so sad to say ltc will just die in its own time.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LFTC Coin launch on 19 December 2014 on: November 09, 2014, 09:20:45 PM

Selling LFTC Coins for USD is through the exchange and by our representative. The capital will be used for loans.
The loan can be used for example to pay back your old loans. This will decrease your monthly expenses. But you can also use the loan to solve your mortgage. The average interest rate you will pay is 12%. For the loan you must have a steady income. All income data are submitted by our credit rating controllers. We ask the clients to guarantee for repayments.
The buyer of LFTC Coins keeps the coins in the wallet. If the wallet stay open for 24 hours then he will automatically receive extra coins. This is 8% of your overall assets (POS – Proof On Stake.). The interest rate is annually.

There is total 30 Billion LFTC Coins available.
The first 20 Billion LFTC is coming on the market.
5 Billion LFTC are for miners.
15 Billion LFTC are premined coins.
The 10 Billion LFTC what is left, is used for Proof on Stake (POS).
 Premine LFTC’s (15 Billion).
10 billion LFTC is used for outstanding loans. Private loan and business loans.
For example, a person wants a loan of 15.000 USD. The 15.000 USD is being used for investment in his company. after checking his ability and signing of the loan contract, we will sell LFTC Coins by the stock exchange. After this we transfer the money to his specified bank account.
The loan being paid back in 5 years. The interest rate is 12% per year.
So redemption is 280 USD per month including 12% interest (15000 * 1.12 / 60 months = 280).

IPO 4 Billion LFTC
Simple IPO calculation we don’t like difficulties.
every LFTC starting price before launch = 0.00000100 BTC (10.000 LFTC = 0.01 BTC)

Bonus LFTC’s
1 – 100 IPO’s receive is 20 * LFTC’s
101 – 200 IPO’s receive is 10 * LFTC’s
201++ IPO’s receive is 5 * LFTC’s + bonus 10.000 LFTC’s
We gone use the IPO Bitcoins for outstanding loans and starting from January to make local ads(newspaper and Google ads).
Standard X11 clone.
No innovation so nothing new to offer. 15 Billion LFTC are premined coins.
For me its scam.

it is pure scam, but he still trys to justify it as a legit currency with legit plans with still no POD..... not to mention the name sounds like Litefeathercoin lol.... copy and fail.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LFTC Coin launch on 19 December 2014 on: November 08, 2014, 03:31:20 AM
Hi thanks for this positive reactions,

Mining a coin, with high hashpower and earn the most of the new coins
and dumping them when the coins are on the exchange is one of the best profit.
The price will go down and buy it back and sell again with profit.
Mr. nrg.wolf understand this. Complaining about the lost is out of discussion.

When people are saying that “I do not believe there is any explaining you can do to prove your a legit player in this field”. That means yelling like a dog. Because he can’t understand how you can find out if it is legal or not. He is trying to make people scared without facts.

My picture, YES that’s is me and my apartment.
Maybe in Africa is a rule that you can’t work from home and you need a office.
If it nice and shining,  if your are rich,  people automatically give their wallet. It looks like it is trustable. Here in Europe you can work from home.

Yes the coin is an clone of other coin. It is standard wallet but it works.
We still busy talking with a IT Company here in the Netherland to setup for future development.

We are happy with start capital of 15.000 BTC (about 4.5 Million Dollar)
Thanks for the trust in this.

The premined coins of 15 billon. How is this possible to dump this amount of coins on the exchange and earn the 15.000 BTC on short time.

When  a client wants a loan he need to repay his loan back in LFTC coins. Most of the time he will do this monthly in USD or EURO. This will be happen on the exchange. After the transaction he must  pay back the LFTC Loan.. Because we are not a Bank we don’t allow to accept  the repayment in USD or ERUO only in BTC/LFTC. This is a legal law in the Netherlands. The primed coins are for this purpose.

no matter how much you try and explain it to look good, this LFTC still screams scam lol. its plain and simple. your attempting to run a PnD coin with the intention of scamming users out of thier money/BTC. no matter where you are in the world there is a law that covers that as ILLEGAL. any1 who actually buys into your crap deserves to get ripped off by you. but hay we already have your name-home address and picture so iam pretty sure that someone will beable to "retrieve" stolen funds should you decide to go that path.

Oh and if you want to try and start a company, go to kickstater and post your ideas there for the public to fund the legal way. as there is no way in hell that you deserve a 4.5 million dollar capital just for launching some shitty clone that offers nothing what so ever to the crypto world, just another plain old cash grab......
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LFTC Coin launch on 19 December 2014 on: November 07, 2014, 09:49:02 AM
It is many important that people (friends and you)
put all the negative message here.
I understand that. This is no problem, because information is important. Important before we do anything.

I gone answer later with more details aubout this (scam talk).

Thanks

You don't even have a legit place of business, your website is cheap and corny and just slapped together hoping to look good. your attempting to run a coin that is aimed to scam up to 15k BTC from people. I do not believe there is any explaining you can do to prove your a legit player in this field. your just another dirty scammer attempting to rip people off.... i am guessing your calls to random homes claiming to be from Microsoft have not been paying you enough as of late, so now your planning to go for 1 big score and rip alot of people off.

Update:

Tried using the sgminer version posted earlier, same results as with cgminer.

http://img.techpowerup.org/141105/sgminer.jpg

Looks like I am stuck in the land of 140 Khash for now. Sad

Tbh, I'm finding it quite peculiar that my 140 khash noob's config is the best we have for 3.7.7b. And how the only alternative is Wolf0's blacklisted site with it's nsfw .pngs and promises of higher hashrates (on a client that can't or won't solo mine), seeminly designed to lure people to said site.

wolf0s miner works well, iam useing his public release version. there is also an updated cgminer as well at 3.7.8 which has speeds similar to wolf0s.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feathercoin 0.8.7.0 Released - The NeoScrypt Update - Hardfork block 432,000 on: November 06, 2014, 03:37:37 AM
New cgminer 3.7.7b settings 4 U.

280x @stock 1020/1500 Hynix - 138-143 khash - catalyst 14.9 w/ 14.7-rc3 openCL files copied to cgminer's folder

-g 3, -w 64, -i 14  ..  HW and artifact free for 20 minutes now ! Grin
http://img.techpowerup.org/141103/NEO142khash280x.jpg

update

1 HW  Cry

update ii

cgminer will randomly set the thread concurrency on almost every startup. eg. it chooses 4096 or 8192 or 16384.

I will soon know if the HW error was caused by the 4096 bin in use at the time. Currently running a 16384 bin..

36 hours later I'm averaging 139 khash with only 4 HW errors. Smiley

This is pretty much what I am getting as well, except my settings are slightly different. Also no matter how many times I try to regenerate a new bin file, my install will always pick 8192 for thread concurrency.

Code:
280x -i 13  -w 48  -g 2   GPU clocks 1025/1500

http://img.techpowerup.org/141104/neoscript.jpg

I also have another box, basically identical build to the above (3x 280x cards) that prefers -g 1 instead of the -g 2 shown above, with all the other settings and clocks set the same.

What make/model cpu, mobo and ram are you running ?

My rig: Phenom II x6, Asus SB 990fx, GSkill 9-9-9-24 2T

I just bumped it up to 4 threads and gained 2 kash. WOOT ! Grin

It's a Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H with a Intel Celeron G1630 (2.8 GHz), ADATA 4 GB RAM, not sure timings, on Win 7 Pro 64 bit, 80 GB SDD (Intel).

Most of my rigs are a similar build as they were put together more with cost in mind for BTC, and eventually scrypt, mining last year. I pretty much stuck with Intel boards, so seeing you have AMD based rig might make the difference. When I mined scrypt the few AMD boards I did own seemed to not do as well, so I sold them off early this year when the prices started to drop off. Anyway, presently I have no way to compare between AMD/Intel based MB/CPU setups to see if that make a big difference.

Seeing the FTC profitability falling fast, I would like to get another 20 kHash or more per card out if possible, but seems to be hitting a brick wall with getting much past 140 kh right now.

I calculate my 3 X rig puts out a consistent 138 kh x 3 = 414 kh total. Power draw at the wall is around 540 watts, bringing me to roughly 0.76 kh/watt efficiency. I pay $0.11 per killawatt hour for power, so using today's calculations, I get the following:
Code:
Per Est. Rewards Pool fee Rev. BTC Rev. $ Costs Profit
Hour 2.42729 0.00000 0.00020 $0.09 $0.06 $0.03
Day 58.25485 0.00000 0.00472 $2.12 $1.45 $0.67
Week 407.78395 0.00000 0.03303 $14.86 $10.16 $4.70
Month 1,747.64550 0.00000 0.14156 $63.70 $43.56 $20.14
Year 21,263.02025 0.00000 1.72230 $775.04 $529.98 $245.06

So while still slightly profitable, it would be nice to crank up the hashrate a bit more and stay in the black awhile longer. Smiley

you should be getting higher then that, my crappy elpidha cards to 144-150khs. try installing 14.7 rc 3 drivers instead of just using the files and fiddle the clocks alittle. i run my asus 280x's at 1135-1800, mainly because they can go that high. but that only really gains me about 12 khs. iam getting about 172 stable but downclocked i get about 160'ish.

Something is happening now with ssd  the price is going up.....

beats me whats happening. but its a good thing as its nice to see the price up past 1k sat and not floating towards 600 sat Cheesy

Yeah my buy orders almost hit though Sad

yea it appears that ssd "STILL" has some heavy weak hand dumpers left. I must say i am surprised given what this coin offers compared to most other clone shitcoins that are worth 10 times more.....

Yes you are so right but how we can make SSD  get the price of 10 k... Thats a normal price for this kind of coin. What we must do for that................

that's a good question within itself, but the big question is why is SSD not already at the 10k mark when there are countless shitcoin clones that offer nothing that are worth so much more. ssd has fought its way up from 150 sat to as high as 3500 sat with no real hype pushing it, but then blocknet happened and there was not enough buy pressure causeing the price to fall to a new low of 616 sat at one point. its on the recovery now finally but weather we will see 10k anytime soon even with the top work that has already been put in its hard to say what the future will hold for SSD. but for now just keep buying and stakeing and just wait out the dumpers which have been none stop funny enough. SSD will rise soon enough, its just a question of when....

7950's go almost as high as 280x's on your public kernal Wolf0... top work.

all 4 are built with hynix.

asus 280x with hynix does 170khs and elpidha 280x does 150khs. so the 7950 fits in rather nicely.

Can u give me ur config bat please for 280x

Thx in advance

Because i only get 115khs on r9 280x Toxic version

for 280x use 14.7 rc3 drivers as 14.9 seems to limit output of the card. -w 48 -i 13 -g 3. and fiddle with the core and memclocks to reach a comfortable stable speed. if you have hunix memory it would bring you past the 160khs mark, if its built with elpidha then between 144-150khs with my config.
