I am having problems syching the wallet.  Gets stuck on 27 days.  I did update to the newest wallet and I have also deleted the information in the Roaming folder once it started happening.   where is the "wallet-name.bin" file located?

DASHCOIN V. 1.0.1 UPDATE

You should immediately update to this version!

Dashcoin Windows  - Instructions
Dashcoin Linux  - Instructions
Dashcoin Mac  - Instructions

New features:
— Multi-signatures
— Updated block reward scheme
— Daemon RAM consumption is optimized
— Faster wallet refresh
— Transaction priority based on tx fee
— Transactions are returned from tx pools after 24 hours
— Dynamic maximum block size limit
— Reduced default transaction fee
— Various network health up

If you have a problem with your wallet, delete your "wallet-name.bin" file, open simplewallet, and refresh from scratch.
Do not delete the .keys file as this will lead to your wallet being lost.

That's true... I think it is total waste of hash power!
However, if the price hits, let's say, 15K...
gonna assume its botnets and no one would be dumb enough to rent at this point

people who where late to the party may be still renting inorder to get some coin..... iam glad my old 200g/h miner took in over 45k in1.5 days lol.

Let's see the richlist, 90% in 20 wallets?  Roll Eyes

lol.. a total of 0.01btc in volume has been "dumped"  Roll Eyes

no volume naturally, but the price can allow nubs to think the coin will soon be worthless and just dump theirs while they still can. which i hope is not the case.

Reward halving in ~50 blocks!!!  Don't sell your SSD for less than 1500 sats! Cheesy  Or hold and let them stake, like a smart man would Wink

they are already selling and dumping :-/

you guys need to tweet @bittrexexchange or join irc #bittrex and tell richie to add it!

Just saying,  I think that is a great idea, I have seen coins added with smaller communities than this, all because they said something.

I cant make up my mind which coin i want to mine, i hit SSD at launch but Darkfox has merits as well, although darkfox has premine where SSD don't.... both coins hold the chance to go high if done right :-/ need more miners lol.

what prey tell is your idea of done right?

mainly plans laid out and done within the said time, Devs sticking with their coin is a big one to. The things that miners and traders are not seeing a heap of these days, minus the few exceptions. It would be nice to see more coins actually come through.

also helps if there are plans for some amazing features :-P

It has to be able to be traded. They are right key and btcd were already on bittrex by this point in their coins lives. Look at them. Pay the btc to get to big exchange, make ann that big features are coming, follow thru, and coin is a success. In that order.

well SSD can follow that order, or we can make our own....

EDIT:  Sorry - I was on the wrong board.  I meant to post this under the altcoin thread!!!

EDIT 2: I tried deleting, but I got the following message?

I’m a small miner (about a half a dozen graphics cards – 7770s, 7970s, etc) and I’ve been Script mining on ScriptGuild since it’s opened.  At the time, script ASICS were just a rumor and script was the most profitable algo to mine.  ScriptGuild is closing down and I’m looking for a new home.  I'm out of the loop with x11, x13, x15, keccak and scrypt-n.  I’ve just spent the last 5 or 6 hours reading, and trying to figure out ‘which is best.’

From what I gathered, all of these are 'better' then mining Script since the new Script-ASICs.  Is there anyway for a GPU miner to switch to the most profitable algos?  Or is one better for a GPU only miner like me?  Or should I just stick with Script mining since I already have the configs made?

move away from scrypt. its power hungry and asic turf now. try looking into XMR or any of the X algo range.
