So, after Spurs' away loss last night, they seem to have overcome their Wembley hoodoo at the expense of losses on the road. Never mind, they've only just whetted my appetite for the underdog this week.

I think their game against Watford on the weekend will be a real tester and they're only three points behind them in the table and win will make them equal. Watford are very strong at home but I'm hoping Spurs can pull out a win as I have them my accumulator.
362  Other / Off-topic / Re: What other things do you currently invest in aside from cryptocurrency? on: November 29, 2017, 04:40:11 PM
Personally, I'm starting to look into stocks/shares and bonds.

Lol. What stocks though? Not sure why people would bother putting their money in anything other than bitcoin right now. Show me one other investment that's climbed up £7000+ in a year. Sure, bitcoin isn't a sure thing and can also collapse but my money is on bitcoin alone right now.
363  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Ledger to take all? on: November 29, 2017, 04:32:02 PM
Hi guys,

I currently have majority of my stuff on an exchange. I have a couple on the ledger nano s but it only takes a few.

Obviously this is all a gamble, but if it does go sky rockets next year I don't want them on an exchange.

Will Ledger in the next year accomodate for all alt coins or should I accept that for thenext few years most my coins will remain on an exchange?

I know that is takes ERC20 tokens, so I am talking about ones like Power Ledger or Cardano that dont fit in that catgeory, or at least didnt show uip on the apporved list to be able to send to ether address.

Thanks

I'm confused. Are you asking if ledger will accept all alt coins at some point in the future? If that's the case then almost certainly not as there's hundreds of them now. Keeping coins on an exchange is ok for a short period of time but not long term so if you're worried about that exchange them for bitcoin or what other currency it allows and store them on your ledger until you're ready to trade again then exchange them back. It's not ideal but neither is keeping coins on an exchange longterm.

Ledger will continue to dump for a couple of more days, but be sure to keep an eye on it because this is not the end of it

Huh are you talking about some alt coin? Op is asking about the bitcoin wallet ledger.

I chose to watch the Tottenham match tonight, to know the weak points of the latter which always hurted by the small teams. But unfortunately, I have not concluded anything except that they do not play hard, they don't want ti win the game. I haven't founf that spirit and energy founded against Real Madrid.
I really don't know what's wrong with Tottenham Hotspurs,  this is their third straight defeat in the EPL, whiles in the Champions League they are playing like lions.Even though Pochettino's job is relatively safe, he should endeavor to find a solution in their current slump in the EPL.

It isn't. It's their third straight defeat of away games. They've lost two of their last four and drew the previous week. They've lost to Arsenal and Leicester away who are both very strong at home so I don't think it's some huge losses and they'll regain form I think. Chelsea lost to Palace not so long ago and at least Spurs beat them (though not exactly a difficult task right now lol).

Yeh, it's been a nightmare for me with pages not even loading though it's alleviated a little but is still very slow. I wonder if it is a ddos or perhaps just masses of people flocking to the site due to the massive price hike.
366  Economy / Speculation / Re: price of bitcoin in december? on: November 29, 2017, 02:13:48 PM
It's funny, a friend of mine bet me that bitcoin would reach 10k by the end of the year. It was only a £100 bet but I'm starting to sweat now LOL. The best thing is though, neither of us lose out if it reaches that. I always thought bitcoin would hit 10k but I was expecting that within 5 years or so. How fast it has risen makes me worried it could be a bubble though. In the grand scheme of things I think bitcoin will be worth much more than 10k though, so even if it does pop I expect it to regain moment at some point. I Don't think bitcoin has even reached 5% of its true potential yet so I;m still very optimistic for the future. Hears to a great 2018 anyhow!
367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card on: November 24, 2015, 12:00:32 PM
We already have several bitcoin debit cards so not sure what ops on about. I would only use one if the fees were reasonable and most of them aren't at the moment.

Don't use those shit cards.
Debit Cards are printed and managed by central banks & financial institutions (Visa, MC, amex etc).

Bitcoin shouldn't depend on those.

True, but they might be the best option to actually spend your coins directly at the moment, though hopefully we wont need cards and will be able to pay with our wallets on our smartphones etc.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: September 29, 2015, 10:51:31 AM
Can't decide whether to watch the Barca or Bayern game tonight  Undecided

Moneyline picks
Arsenal vs Olympiakos
Barcelona vs Leverkusen
BATE Borisov vs Roma
Bayern Munich vs Dinamo Zagreb
Lyon vs Valencia
Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Dinamo Kiev
Porto vs Chelsea
Zenit St Petersburg vs Gent

Bold teams will win, no bold teams will draw or don't bet.

Might give the bolded ones a go myself. Chelsea game could be risky though and can go either way. I think a draw will be most likely though so might put that on as well or porto or draw.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: September 15, 2015, 10:42:28 AM
I don't think manchester city have a easy win today. I don't know who win but i bet sure for both team score a gol, for me is 99% sure  Grin

Same. They've been playing pretty mediocre this season. I don't think Man City will have an easy game either. True they're on form but can't get complacent. Was lucky to win on the weekend too.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Champions League Lounge on: August 18, 2015, 10:20:36 AM
Hello guys. Would you like to post your thoughts and tips about the CL in a dedicated thread as the start of the competition is getting close. Maybe sharing some picks will get us some free money Cool Let's start with the tonight's games. Who is betting what today?  Cool

I will bet for manchester united, I think they will attack to secure position and playing at home  Smiley

That's the only game I'm sure of. Manchester should win comfortably. I'll be watching the game for sure.

3 days, 7 hours and 48 minutes.

Doesn't seem much at all. Thought it would be far longer. Guess I lurk too much.

Peru 1-3 Paraguay

That's already been picked. It was the first choice.
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: should i move my ''saving'' to Bitcoin? on: June 22, 2015, 07:47:26 PM
due to the low price i have moved 20% of my savings to bitcoin just in case something great happens.

I think if you hold them long enough you'll see a very good return. I can't see no reason why we cant go back to the days of one coin being worth 1k. Just give it time.

Saw it on RT today http://rt.com/usa/263261-adios-hola-vulnerability-blake/

I think people should be careful with what proxy they use. Many proxy services keep user data which could be leaked or even given to authorities if they so requested it.
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is "Variety Jones"? on: May 30, 2015, 01:28:04 PM
Now with Ross facing to spend the rest of his life in prison, VJ should get that helicopter started as he promised.
If he wasn't working with the feds, he is facing about the same sentence as Ross got, so I doubt, that he has the balls to risk his life with his super duper escape plan. He is, just like Ross, only strong behind his computer, but when it comes to "real life" he fails.

I doubt he'd get the same sentence as Ross - he didn't create the site and was only really a helper/adviser, but nobody will hear from Vanity Jones ever again. I think he was probably much smarter than Ross and new how to protect himself better whilst not having as much heat on him. I'm not sure what he could be charged with either.
377  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Study: 4 in 10 Americans on food stamps are obese on: May 13, 2015, 12:07:18 PM
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obesity_in_the_United_States

A high percentage of Americans are already obese so this isn't surprising.

Gas station/ mini Mart food is very unhealthy.
True but food stamps come on a debit card these days and no longer the paper, embarrassing food stamps like they were when I worked the register over ten years ago. And, you can buy whatever you want at the supermarket including alcohol, tobacco and all the carb foods you can imagine. You can also use them at casinos and strip joints just to complete the picture. In full, those at the lower end of the spectrum, both financially and intelligently, tend to purchase garbage foods w/ free money that is rebooted every month ad infinitum. Nothing else going on in your life or you're on alleged hard times, comfort food is at your finger tips.

This can't be true that people can spend them on cigarettes etc? Seems bizarre it wouldn't be restricted to actual food or household items.

Poverty and obesity have always been strongly correlated, this is not news.

Exactly what I was going to say. Crappy unnutritious food is always far cheaper than healthy food and high sugar/salt makes them addictive. There's also a lack of education about a healthy diet that is often a big factor (though this isn't just limited to the states but many countries worldwide).
378  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Jeb Bush courts evangelicals, defends religion in public life on: May 13, 2015, 12:00:19 PM
This is shaping up to be one of the greatest U.S. presidential reality shows ever. Both Dubya and Bill Clinton´s corpse will be back in the limelight. Wonderful.

I'm looking forward to Bill Clinton being the first lady  Cheesy (or will he be the second?). I bet that will be pretty embarrassing, though it would be worse if he hadn't already had been the president.

Brilliant. Consulting W for advice on anything having to do with international relations, especially the Middle East, is like consulting Dr. Mengele on medical ethics.
Well so much for Jeb being the smart one of this vile family.

It doesn't matter what they may or may not say right now as both candidates have the Bush and Clinton name so they will just carry on the policies and business as usual.

Jeb Bush: I, Too, Would Have Authorized Iraq Invasion

“I would have [authorized the invasion], and so would have Hillary Clinton, just to remind everybody. And so would almost everybody that was confronted with the intelligence they got,” Bush told Fox News' Megyn Kelly in an interview scheduled to air Monday.

Of course they would. They're all war profiteers. Whoever gets in will likely start new wars. This is how America now works sadly.

So Chelsea have won the league now with three games to go. Was hoping for a closer season but oh well. Guess we've got the Champions league to look forward to. I think it'll probably be closer next year and could see Arsenal winning it. Manchester United might get off to a better start as well as they upped their game over the season but lost to West Brom at home on the weekend. They're apparently looking to sign Bale but I think he's overated to be honest.
380  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have weird fetish ? Lets discuss it here on: May 04, 2015, 07:43:51 PM
Do you have weird fetish ? Yes, i have. So what is your weird fetish ? Armpits, Sweat, and Foot. Anyone can share weird fetish here. I want to know weird fetish is exist.

Are you saying they're yours or just giving some examples because I think you should share more of your fetishes with us? Armpits, Sweat, and Foot probably aren't really that 'weird' either.
