601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can blockchain favour big gaming industries? on: September 21, 2019, 05:31:17 PM
My own idea about gaming using crypto is what many failed to reasoned with, i am a addicted video gamer i have been gaming since the age of 8 on nes and sega mega drive, gaming can actually help crypto achieve more adoption rate, imagine playing call of duty and earning and spending real coins in the game, it will make lotta sense, it will make gaming more fun
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Government-issued cryptocurrencies...Are they the Future? on: September 20, 2019, 07:46:43 PM
In anything that government get involved there is no freedom, i still think that its a bad idea if government gets involved in crypto, there will be many manipulations from the government but since this is what many people wants we will see how it goes with the regulation
603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is not a ponzi scheme, Remember???????? on: September 20, 2019, 07:41:25 PM
No risk no reward, newbies you've been warned, if you can't endure all the pains how will you gain? know that there is possibilities of losing and there is possibilities of wining too, whatever the case might be you should be ready for the worst, good things always takes time
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think advisors help new projects? on: September 19, 2019, 02:23:34 PM
Many investors get attracted to projects with popular advisors but i have seen few projects with well known advisors that are still not doing very well in terms of market value but atleast they are better than projects that end up dead in just few months, my point is well known advisors can be used to determine if a project is real or not sometimes
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Hits $270: $300 Next? on: September 19, 2019, 11:51:39 AM
Nearly 4 months have passed, the price of Ethereum has decreased to half with the highest rate in the first months of the year. Think it will soon reach $ 300 by the end of the year or before Christmas? I think it will reach $ 300 by the end of the year. All our expectations will soon be achieved as more and more investors enter the market.
Do not worry. ETH price will reach $ 300 this month or October. The market is getting better and this is a good opportunity for ETH to go up.
I think what ETH was waiting for all this while is happening already, Good market condition is starting to take shape and its only a matter of time before ETH get upgraded to 2.0 which i still belief will help ETH achieve better market value than what we've seen before
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad projects are been dealt with by altcoin bear market on: September 19, 2019, 11:49:07 AM
2018 was the year that start killing off weak ICO projects and its at the same time many scammers came into the crypto haven and we keep seeing one copied work from another project on new projects, copycatting here and there but in 2019 IEO took over and its maintaining good results so far
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: myetherwallet got hacked on: September 17, 2019, 11:35:34 AM
Hello,
me and a friend working together in a business which involves crypto currency.
Last week, he told me that all our USDT + ETH got transferred to another wallet which is obv not ours.
We stored USTD + ETH on myetherwallet.
My friend takes care about the tezor but didn't log in on that day.
I asked him to check the balance on the evening and he told me that all wallets are empty and there is an transaction history which shows that all wallets got cleared a couple of hours ago.
He is the only one who has access to the trezor. the recovery seed is in a safe in his apartment in europe where he lives with his family. We are currently not in europe but have private places here too, so we dont use public wifi or something similarÂ
Even tho he didn't connect to MEW on that day(until the balance check) the trezor was connected to the laptop the whole day.
The laptop should be very secure when it comes to anti virus programs etc.
All BTCs are still were still there tho, only USDT+ETH got stolen.
So if someone is able to hack a cold wallet, i dont really understand why he just stole everything on MEW and not the BTCs.
It is the first time that i hear that something like that happened.
Basically someone stole a pretty big amount from a cold wallet without entering the code on the trezor, which is necessary to confirm the transaction, at least as far as i know.
I googled and didn't find anything about a similar situation.
I contacted many friends who work a lot with cryptos, people who work for big exchanger etc..Â
Nobody heard of a similar situation where a cold wallet got cleared while one of the owners is sitting next to it. Most reaction was that people think my friend stole it. I dont really wanna believe that because it wouldn't make sense to me.
Anyone here who has an idea what happened or heard about a similar case?

Sorry friend but i smell snitches, there is no way your wallet can get hacked unless you are been careless with your recovery seed or private keys, sorry to say but i suspect your friend based on how you explain things on here.
1. Next time never share your wallet keys with even your most trusted friends, unless family, even families do betrays too, wallets are been created for privacy purposes to avoid fund losses
2. There is possibility that your friend was targeted by other who knew he owns coins in the wallet and they find a way to get the keys off him. Who knows? might be possible
But all evidence are pointing to your friend
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stake vs Fixed bounty allocation on: September 16, 2019, 01:23:33 PM
If a bounty has more than 2000 participants in each campaign, stake based bounties are making no sense anymore, because everybody would get a tiny bit of tokens. In such cases fixed allocation with limited participation is much better.
As for me that is not the real case here, all i want is a real project that will pay me for my precious time and hardwork, either staked or fixed bounty allocation i care less about it, all i need is good results from bounties, arguing between fixed and stake won't change anything if all new projects are just scamming and luring bounty hunters
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs vs IEOs? on: September 16, 2019, 01:18:13 PM
To make changes is really needed because we know that crypto is really not going well, because there are many scams on ICO. if there are changes that can make crypto excited why not to run. we'll see the development of IEO, hopefully can spur improvement in crypto.
Things is going well for crypto adoption but not in price value especially for altcoin investors that is why everyone is complaining about crypto but for me things are indeed normal and rising for crypto,we can't be expecting positive results all the time, no my friend that's not reality
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Atomic Swaps use cases on: September 16, 2019, 01:07:30 PM
Atomic swap is just a way of exchanging coins without centralized intermediaries which is referring to another definition of DEX exchanges or decentralized exchanges, to me dex exchange features is already a real use case, it provides better security over centralized exchanges, nothing more
611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CHANGE, the only thing that's Constant on: September 16, 2019, 01:03:39 PM
Hoping for the best and never stop striving is what makes us feel alive, the bot giving up spirit but be present everyday of our lives to reach our goals easily, your post is encouraging and thanks for sharing, i hope altcoin investors will keep having more patience, its certainty that changes will come
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: be careful with projects that offer you great prizes, that is not a guarantee of on: September 14, 2019, 06:28:11 PM
Developers has one sure popular way of luring investors to invest in their project and that is giving invest discount price per token and of cos promising them huge return of investment but alas any project that promises ROI is obviously a red flag, even good projects can't predict what will happen in near future but fake projects are promising investors fake returns
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties. IEOs or ICOs. on: September 14, 2019, 05:55:37 PM
I think the good bounty campain for now is LocalCoin, you can check my signature to know what is LocalCoin.
That i can recommended to you.
Why localcoin project my friend? i promoted the project some months ago and i made over 500$ worth of localcoin through referal campaign,i did get paid but i was able to swap the token for ETH worth of 30$ only, the localcoin based exchange lacks volume
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto market getting many new people. Is it good or bad for us? on: September 14, 2019, 05:43:35 PM
The crypto market is getting new people everyday, Because the crypto coin trading system and the high price of bitcoin. Btcoin is being popular over the world. After hitting 19K USD, Lots of people came here and more people is coming in the crypto platform. But, is it good news for us or bad? What do you think?
Its actually what we pray for, more people means more adoption but the problem is the more people are coming into crypto space many more hackers and scammers will keep targeting crypto for a long time unless something very secured is been initiated into crypto space to safe us all but for now its all in our hand to stay safe and keep your private keys safe
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Situation with Bitcoin and Alts on: September 14, 2019, 05:41:02 PM
I frequently view discussions about an upcoming "alt-coin season," meaning altcoins will reclaim lost dominance that has and is being captured by Bitcoin. In the current state, crypto is undergoing a transition, from being secluded in various of corners of the internet, breaking out and exposing itself to further integration into existing business, new businesses and society itself.

Altcoins are important for one factor, it's ever-evolving and changing. Bitcoin's capabilities will only go so far, but there are various of top blockchains that are gaining ground in various of niche's and territories that Bitcoin could never reclaim. There will be a realization soon by all investors in crypto, that many altcoins are undervalued with respect to their network size, the underlying tech behind them and the overall value these blockchains offer to the real-world.

There are many altcoins that are still heavily overpriced, despite experiencing alt-time lows-vs BTC pairing and there are many more alts that are heavily under priced (for their integration, network and functioning as a business) that will soon be realized by all. This is why, if the next major alt-season comes, the reigning thought is many shitcoins will die out. This is somewhat true, because in the end, if there is money to be made, it will be made regardless of what the shitcoin looks like.

My encouragement to everyone, is patience and understand exactly why you're holding or have invested in your particular altcoin or shitcoin. It may ultimately be sound reasoning to cut your losses short on a particular coin and delve into an existing, functioning business and highly active team around their particular blockchain or protocol. Money is to be made on alts, the time is ever looming on us all. Bitcoin is the leader, but crypto does not end with Bitcoin, it only ever started with Bitcoin.
Bitcoin has its own major flaws accepted but bitcoin seem to be the major one that keeps the  crypto trust alive i guess its because its the king but i belief many altcoins will be by its side for many years to come and there will be no bitcoin without these altcoins either,i think they both need eachother to triumph for real
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties keeps getting worse on: September 13, 2019, 11:58:56 AM
Bounties are taking more sudden turns than ever, now I don't realize what to accept anymore,i need to pass on a message to all bounty hunters on here that bounties with working items can turn scam, yes it transpired already, bounties with genuine use life cases or working products can go to be trick directly before your eye.

Regardless of whether the groups or teams are professionals or they have great previous chronicles doesn't mean they can't trick individuals, they are just feeding investors with fake use cases to lure them
If you are in for quick bucks from promoting bounties then you get into the space in a very wrong time, bounties are only very good in altcoin season and since altcoins are suffering right now its time for every bounty hunters to thread with patience, i just keep promoting bounties because i belief that my luck is around the corner, sooner or later i will promote a project that will give me reasonable rewards
617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Finding the best Altcoins on: September 13, 2019, 11:53:29 AM
I usually use telegrams to do things like that, now there are many telegram channels that give good coin recommendations
That's the channel that I usually use to find interesting info about bitcoin and altcoin
I pity those who use websites like icodrops and other to pick projects based on what the website says, its really an unwise decision because many ico tracking websites do their jobs based on payments from projects just to create awareness to people like you who visits the websites to pick projects
618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The importance of the community in a project. on: September 13, 2019, 11:50:26 AM
We have some big altcoins in crypto space that are doing well today simply because of the community supports, if the support from community is very strong it will be hard for such project to fail or die in the end, strong community gives strength to investors and adoption rate will keep climbing up
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to new projects? on: September 13, 2019, 11:46:57 AM
These are the reasons so many new projects end up dead or failed
1. Lack of devotion
many project teams care less about the project success and care more about their own pockets
2. Lack of professionalism
Some devs always end up looking for teams through websites like linkedin that anyone can just create and put up something they don't know very well as their life jobs on the website and you start contacting them to be part of your team, in the end they are really not who they claimed to be

Even some devs are not professional too, they end up screwing things up faster and even projects with fake teams
620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to new projects? on: September 12, 2019, 09:44:04 PM
The truth is many inexperience devs want to build project and make money from it since its so easy to use ETH erc20 smart contract which seems like a abusive platform to me, anyone with little techy idea can just decide to make use of eth blockchain to fool people, 99% of new project are erc20 tokens ao what do you expect?
