I just found out that even if you open 100 ETH addresses using Metamask, once your key is been compromised all the 100 ETH addresses are gone, but in case of Trust wallet each addresses has different recovery seed ..
If you don't know this before you should know now, please take note, some people are using Metamask multiple wallet addresses and they don't understand the risk involved.
You have a point but do you know that Metamask is better than Trustwallet because is it completely open-source while Trust wallet is not even though they claim their wallet is open-source? Meanwhile, the most important thing every cryptocurrency need to understand is the pro, and cons of using every crypto wallet they use to store their coins and they also need to avoid human error. Metamask is not fully open source. I never look deep into that but what I know is that Metamask is open-source. When you said it is not fully open source. Does this mean something changed in their operation at some point? Does this happen when they migrate their open-source code under a new proprietary license? Await your reply. |

This is not appropriate for everyone some people have more than a single Bitcoin in a day. It seems to me people have forgotten that pump and dump groups are illegal, I do know they are easy to find and they are all over telegram but they are still illegal, also whales can manipulate the markets because we are talking about a very small number of individuals with enormous power, so even if you could concentrate most of the retail investors to do this, it will be almost impossible to coordinate them to buy and sell at the same time, so what is being proposed on this thread cannot be successfully implemented, especially when we are talking about an asset like bitcoin.
Out of curiosity, is there a rule and regulation that states pump and dump are illegal? Just want to know since my understanding about the reason why they are considered illegal is that their service is just about scamming their followers. |

I have heard on this forum that BTC can be stopped if the government want to, my question is how? I read on news that Canada's CBDC is almost complete and as for the CBDC why did the government create theirs? I think that's the only option left for them, to join the train.
I think BTC is too lucrative, and the tech is still in an early stage and all the govt can do is find a way to be in control.

Any type of currency or even Bitcoin will be forgotten for some time before people would start to use it again if we are going to survive the nuclear war if it ever happens in the future (let's hope not).

Most likely, bitcoin will not survive a big nuclear war, when humanity will be put on the brink of survival. To survive, people first of all need basic necessities, food, water, weapons. Since the system of functioning of the system of state power will be broken, paper money will be depreciated. Non-cash money, cryptocurrency will also not be in demand, if only because there will be great difficulties with the functioning of the Internet and other equipment. After a global nuclear war, barter is likely to be the most common form of trade, and even gold and jewelry will fade into the background. If the survivors do not have confidence that everything will be restored to the previous level, the cryptocurrency will lose any useful properties. Bruce Fenton is someone who has lived in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and also spend some time with people who are leaders from the Gulf/Middle East. According to what he said there's an increase of skepticism in fiat currency and when issues like this continue people always look for an alternative I believe we already know the alternative people will run to for safety. Does he have some insider information? Did he talk with the King of Saudi Arabia or the Emir of Qatar?
It won't be difficult for him to have insider information as Gulf/Middle East What's the point for some of the richest countries in the world to adopt Bitcoin/crypto? These countries aren't undeveloped and poor like El Salvador or the Central African Republic. They can have as many USD/Euro/British pounds as they want, because they have oil.
We need to understand that it's not all the people that are from this region are super rich and if exchanges like Rain offer crypto trading across the Middle East let's ask ourselves who's their customers. This seems like another mindless bullish speculation, which isn't backed by any facts and logic. It's just wishful thinking and fantasies.
For now, we can assume it to be mindless speculation but let's wait for the Islamic finance decision. |

I came across this news on CNBC where standard chartered bank claims that bitcoin will reach 5000$. Being a bank, this can be their wish and not a reality. Banks do not want bitcoin to become popular and therefore they spread this negative information so people panic sell and do not adopt bitcoin.  [snip] With the potential and benefit of Bitcoin which literally prevent the institution banks power and chance over people's fund we shouldn't expect them to want BTC to be popular because the popular BTC get the higher power drift from institutional bank to crypto currency which gave them liberation. Besides, do you think most of the negative, fud and misinformation articles posted about BTC is not their doing? |

Every password manager has its cons and pros. There are much more chances for account breaches on Chrome password manager because Chrome pass manager is linked to a Google account. Firefox on the other hand. Your passwords are encrypted locally by Firefox. It utilizes a login directory in your user profile but a keylogger is enough to access your password. The old-fashioned way as mentioned by Lucius is still the best. |

The first thing that should always come to your mind is that every idea created by the CEX exchange especially Binance is mainly for them to profit from it. From my understanding future trading is a very risky form of trading and some people regard it as gambling because of the level of the exchange which is called house edge in gambling taking everything while the trader makes a loss. You thanking your star is the right thing, not Binance and I will advise you to stop or minimize future trading. |
