921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sovryn - price prediction when public sale will be open on: April 09, 2021, 09:32:21 PM
Sovryn is DeFi for bitcoin and use rootstock, right ? With pomp and edan yago support this project. Matketcap for sov for the first trading day i guess it can reach $300million. With total in circullation only 3 million. Maybe sov can reavh $100 for the first day trade or maybe at least $80. In the commming month. If it can reach STX market cap which is 2.4billion and coin incircullation in arround 5million it can reach $480.

This is just my prediction.

When exactly would that be because the project since to be promising and has already gained the support of some influential investors which invested almost 90% of the project market cap, that is the reason why I participate in their bounty.

Nobody can tell you exactly when this will be, as long as already sovryn is  a solid project,  big whales are involved, all you can do is seat back and watch how it plays out,  since I also participate in the bounty am definitely going to hold my sov and enjoy the ride to the top.
Oh. Don't know you also participated in their bounty, have you by any chance receive your bounty payment?
Have see the information i needed about the project.

I will check it later and get back to you when i will get information regarding testnet but i see that "exiled" exiled as the sovryn admin already made an announcement about that.

Here you go https://wiki.sovryn.app/en/getting-started/sovryn-testnet

Some people have been trying to use it and everything went smoothly.

922  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have a few beginner questions regarding crypto trading on: April 09, 2021, 09:11:36 PM
After falling down the rabbit hole of learning how to mine, and learning how to build a mining rig, learning how that stuff works, I learned what I needed to learn and decided that I cannot afford to start mining right now.
Mining is usually the first dream of all cryptocurrency enthusiasts when they understand how Bitcoin works but when they dig deep about what it takes to be a Bitcoin miner what they do is move to trading or another aspect of making money through Bitcoin

1. I'm currently using coinbase as my main crypto exchange. But I keep hearing from a lot of people who have been trading/mining crypto for years say that they don't use coinbase anymore. Why is that? Also what exchange is the most popular to use right now? Is it still Coinbase?
Coinbase exchange have loose the trust of the people in crypto community or forum due to their inactive customers support, unnecessarily KYC and their centralization rules. Besides, i have never read something good about them on this forum.
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are undervalued right now? on: April 09, 2021, 08:34:15 PM
That's because it doesn't worth to be invest because how can a DeFi which it Max supply is still infinite will survive? YFI team created a DeFi lower total supply investors were convinced and they invested in it.
Aside that, you can expect a project that focuses on the non-crypto users to be invested by crypto enthusiast

kaos1478, i believe you are talking about FPGA BCU-1525, I find a site which provided tutorial about how to set it up and that's doesn't help you can watch this Youtube video.
If all that is not enough the perfect place to ask this question mining section as said by Lafu.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big chance to buy BNB coin with cheap price. CLICK HERE!!! on: April 09, 2021, 07:16:37 PM
Portfolio without BNB would be sin. If someone will ignore BNB these days, I don’t know what to say.
Not really. There really are investors that would focus only on BTC and that's not what you think although you have the point that if someone doesn't diversify but they don't have that much for the other better to the best coin like bitcoin then they really do it wrong.
According to the facts, investment is any altcoin is a sin but when the diversification come into the subject investment good utility and concept altcoin not invest in 2 or more of the altcoin with characteristics are said is sin because the top priority and outstanding coin so far is still Bitcoin.

Still very undervalued coin with so much potential and the team tirelessly keep on innovating. Not to mention the great influence of the exchange, one good advantage.
Yeah, if they also have the plans of keep burning it, that will make its value higher.
BNB is never undervalued, it an exchange token and the reach why its price reaches the current price range is because of the reward people get by holding the token.
Buying the coin won't be a bad idea though.
926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not hide your hard feelings about trading; share the experiences on: April 09, 2021, 04:12:51 PM
Most newbies in the crypto currency space who are just learning trading are most times only fed with the profit side of crypto; once such newbie experience loss on trades; they get disappointed. The best thing while teaching newbies about trading is to educate them about the profits and loss side; so that when they are in profit they are grateful; when they are in loss; they know they will make the funds back.

What suggestions do you have ? how do you guide your newbie traders under your tutorship? do explain below lets learn.
What you said about the newbies is not surprising because i have came across a thread created by Charles-Tim which stated that " 80% of traders quit trading" but I think it the impression of newbies before they join crypto trading that make them giveup so easily.
927  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Benefit of campaign in Bitcointalk on: April 09, 2021, 03:52:54 PM
Sorry for asking these because what you don't know will never be part of you unless you ask to know is when you will know the secret behind it, since am here I don't know the important of signature but I have been seeing signature campaign in first roll of service board,
1- How does signature goes?
2- the implications of signature?
3- why is call signature campaign?
4- what's is the difference between it and gambling
5- does signature relate with Bitcoin?

Please I only ask to know, we are here to be directed for things that are unknown to us to be known, knowledge is power and no knowledge is useless, I'm ready to learn I need help. And I don't know the board that is good for this question.
1) Signature campaign is a platform for advertisement of project by wear the project BBcode banner.
2) It help project gain more awareness
3) Because participants wear the company signature code which is BBcode
4) It different from gambling because participants don't have to bet their money
5) No but it good for crypto related business to do their campaign on the crypto forum.
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins are good for investing? on: April 09, 2021, 03:42:19 PM
Hello all,
If one wants to invest a small amount of money in the cryptocurrency, then which coins are good? I mean is something about $500. Are Tron, EOS, Ripple and Stellar good?
I have another question: Can Ripple win the court? When is the next Ripple court?

Any idea welcomed.

Thank you so much.

its better to split your money in several altcoins, for example $200 in BNB, $150 in Cardano then another $150 in polkadot mate
about ripple i have no comment on it, because i don't have ripple in my wallet now  Wink
I don't hold EOS, XRP, TRX, Stellar or Cardano but I don't support invest in the coin because they seem to be very manipulated and according to what I saw in there previous market historical data anyone that invest in it ought to be very careful.
But, BNB, ETH and DOT are good coins.
929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Uniswap question! (help required!) on: April 09, 2021, 01:59:53 PM
It's not normal because your wallet ought to show the DexMex(DEXM) not Wrapped Ether (WETH) which ETH native token means there's something wrong from your end and I will advise you to add the token to your wallet using their smart contract address (0x0020d80229877b495d2bf3269a4c13f6f1e1b9d3) etc.
Hope you understand the rick involve in altcoin investment.
930  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex cannot change the email address assigned to an account on: April 09, 2021, 01:05:33 PM
I google the exchange to be sure what was said about and the impression I have are bad.

But the best way for the OP to get back his account is to restore his email account back after all the email was his own and getting it back shouldn't be a problem.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need help - DoveWallet stole my ETH on: April 08, 2021, 09:50:01 PM
I sent crypto from BlockFi - I did not have a choice how the ETH was sent out. All I had to do was provide DoveWallets ETH address and BlockFi did the rest.

I finally got my ETH, their only response was "It was a human error, we corrected the issue". No explanation as to why they ignored me for so long,
After they said they have corrected the issue did you get your total 0.14ETH back? If yes, I will advise you to move your ETH out of the dodgy wallet and use a reputable wallet.

no explanation as to why they moved my eth around, just closed all my tickets with the same response.
I presume they just use your ETH and some others as investment, make some profit through your ETH and return it back when they are satisfied that why they offer daily rewards for crypto kept on their platform or do think does reward crypto we come out of thin air?

I joined because of their DAILY rewards for crypto. I can see now that this was a big mistake, thanks again for everyone's input.
If you continue doing this, sooner or later you'll be a victim of a crypto scammer.
932  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin may go bull soon on: April 08, 2021, 05:41:28 PM
something else to bear in mind, the U.S TAX deadline has been pushed out to May 17th.

Extended deadline
On March 17, the Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service announced that the due date for individuals filing federal income taxes for the 2020 tax year has been extended to May 17.

Source: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/4840997001

Would this mean a lot of people are selling now to pay taxes and that after
May 17th we will see a surge in buying for the start of a new TAX year.

Is this a realistic scenario which could fuel the next phase of this bull cycle?
I believe some investors are already selling their investment probably not to miss the opportunity of their current profit because no one know when the market bearish will happen and according to what I read a lot of US government official seems to be after taxpayer fund in crypto investment.

Quote
A federal court in the District of Massachusetts entered an order authorizing the IRS to serve a John Doe summons, seeking information about U.S. taxpayers who conducted at least $20,000 worth of transactions on the platform of Boston-headquartered digital currency exchanger Circle.

934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Taking the opportunity, or nothing ! on: April 07, 2021, 09:33:49 PM
I am sure we have our own choice for the altcoin. If @OP already has the selection coin, I think he can wait to see the price of that coin increase later. But while he waits for the time to increase, he can search for the other coins for the next investment and I only want to remind him that he should not forget to invest in bitcoin because bitcoin can increase so high later.
You make a good point but what I don't understand is the OP showing a certain coin which I believe is one of his long die holding that's currently making a surge in price and he's trying to hype it up.
Speaking about invest in bitcoin only naive investor won't that
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: One or Two or Three More Ride this April... on: April 07, 2021, 01:33:53 AM
Which coin do you think that can get one, two, or three more rides this April??

I've got MANA, DIVI, and WINK (WIN) that is perfectly just in time for earnings  Grin Cheesy
I think MANA is still good as an investment than DIVI and WINK cause the idea behind the creation of the two won't make the prominent people cryptocurrency investment sees them as a good investment but altcoin listed on Grayscale good for hold
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin season ending in may ? on: April 06, 2021, 10:13:09 PM
Dear all

Now alt season started. Lot of coins specially 2018 ath coins now going for new ath. You can see xrp is moving like roket.
I dont know your own definition of altcoin season cause what I read is that altcoin season is when altcoin experience a surprising rise in price against BTC and from what I am seeing in the market, the altcoin still follow Bitcoin market trend.
A coin having an issue with the US SEC is not good for investment even if it surge in price.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about KICKTOKEN? on: April 05, 2021, 05:33:26 PM
I think about Kicktoken is that altcoin shouldn't be the top priority of every cryptocurrency investors because Bitcoin accumulation is the main deal and if the total 21million coin is achieved it will be hard to buy Bitcoin in the market. Besides, if the Kicktoken could experience a dump in the price instead of a surge it means it not a good investment.
938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you like Volatility? Debate on: April 05, 2021, 05:02:22 PM
Honestly, no genuine cryptocurrency enthusiast will dislike the volatility of the crypto market because the volatility in nature of the market is one of the reasons why the crypto market experienced an unexpected ATH price.
But people are referring the ups and downs of market by volatility which got nothing to do achieving ATH. I mean that market can move steadily toward ATH without going ups and downs randomly. So, I am not ready to accept that the all crypto people are liking volatile nature of bitcoins. Still, none of us got nothing to do with volatile nature of cryptos; it will remain as it is today until main stream adoption of cryptos will be happening.
It normal that we can't all like the volatility of the crypto market but the people that don't like the volatility in the nature of the market are not genuine crypto enthusiast because nothing on earth will have advantages and won't have disadvantages so i count those people as individuals that want to profit from the market and can't accept the fact about the market. Besides, every investment is volatile in its own way and the last time I check we all play a role in the market volatility.

940  Economy / Economics / Re: The total value of the crypto currency market is near $2 trillion on: April 05, 2021, 02:07:17 PM
So are you saying that market caps are not real in Crypto, because there is no delisting service for altcoins that are no more active. okay thats an idea on on its own
No, he's (avikz) not saying market caps are not real in crypto and he seems to correct the OP that crypto market value is hard to calculate which I believe he right because the trade is done on OTC are not available to the online market.
