81  Other / Meta / Re: The effect the mixer ban has had on the forum. on: January 17, 2024, 01:34:34 PM
Bitcointalk is an original forum of Bitcoin and a birthplace of many other top projects where legends themselves were actively posting and what is altcoinstalks? By the way, I want to say that Bitcointalk was probably the only forum with signature campaign, are there any other forums like this one? Campaigns pay high rate today because this is the OG forum and has the highest traffic with a good SEO profile.
You say that if the traffic on altcoinstalks increases, so will increase the payrate but how is that going to happen? How will traffic grow on altcoinstalks? Explain me this part.
It has already grown since the ban of Mixers on Bitcointalk, with some of the forum's reputable members and many more having already transferred their accounts there. FYI, traffic to Bitcointalk increased when the signature campaign launched in 2011. Nobody expected Altcointalk to reach the level of Bitcointalk, but it is now on the right path to compete

The traffic of Bitcointalk don't only increased after the launch of signature campaign in 2011.
Mind you, Bitcoin is just 2years in 2011 and it's harr for an innovative digital monetary system to gain huge acknowledgment and that's what happened with this forum then. Another thing is that Bitcointalk backlink is more powerful than the forum in the subject and Bitcointalk it's also the number one in everything related with cryptocurrency if we're talking about forum.
82  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another attempt from Impersonators of Trust Wallet Support to steal. on: January 17, 2024, 12:54:39 PM
I am not used to the mode of operation of Trust Wallet support but there's no way a genuine platform support will contact their users through email, or social media platforms in the first place if the person didn't contact them first.
Another thing is that people need to familiarise themselves with the genuine information about the support service of the platforms, and wallets they use in other not to be the victim of scammer and online theft.
83  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin changed people (enemy to supporter). Lary Fink (BlackRock CEO) 2017 2024 on: January 17, 2024, 12:20:06 PM
The BlackRock CEO was not the only one who once said negative things about Bitcoin due to a lack of proper understanding of its genuine purpose. I have once said negative things about Bitcoin either when I don't have an understanding about it. What is important is taking the words back publicly which is what Larry Fink did.

With that being said, we only talk about the Bitcoin spot ETF but don't know the fact that the Winklevoss brothers were the first to file for the spot ETF in 2013.

85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap alternatives on: January 01, 2024, 07:17:59 PM
The CoinMarketcap alternative that I use is Coingolive which is good for ATH price calculation and Coingecko but none of these websites provide data for 5-15 minutes market price.

Coinmarketcap shows top gainers and losers within the last hour, but nothing shorter than that. You can check it out here - https://coinmarketcap.com/gainers-losers/

I believe it's same on coingecko as well.
I think the time frame mentioned by OP is the problem because all the cryptocurrency data aggregator websites I have seen so far provide last-hour price information, not 5-15 minutes unless the OP is going to check the 5-15 minutes price through the crypto data aggregator website price chart.
Second, I believe OP is only looking for CoinMarketCap alternatives, not the CMC you provide.
86  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is merit necessary for my survival here on: December 27, 2023, 09:58:18 PM
Greetings everyone!

I really want to know if merit is necessary in other to secure my account, my friend who introduced this site to me said, I must have merit
Merit is not needed to secure your account. What you need to secure your account is to have a good password, and follow all the rules and regulations of this forum.
But to rank up on this forum you need merit.

Please how do I get this merit and how is it important.
By making good contributions, helping people who have issues, also providing solutions to some problems the forum is experiencing, and more.
87  Economy / Gambling / Re: Joya.Casino| Rewarding Casino| Huge Welcome and VIP Bonus| 20% Weekly CashBack on: December 25, 2023, 05:53:37 PM
Hi why the website is down now? I can't open the casino
I don't think so because I can access the site from my end here,  if you are unable to access the casino,  it could be as a result of your bad internet connection,  or may be your up is restricted,  but at this point,  the site is live and working fine so you may have to check any of the mentioned possibilities to note exactly what is preventing you from accessing the casino.

I can also access the website from my end either. I like the casino UI and it appears to be mobile-friendly. I like the fact that the casino representative said they are working on reviewing the casino bonus structures and wagering requirements as requested by the community.
I hope they work on marketing on this forum just as some casinos did to become people's favorite now.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing bitcoin to the orphans on my birthday on: December 21, 2023, 09:07:52 PM
Whenever I watch some video of an online content creator posing like a homeless person and also asking for a dollar it gives me sadness to see how some people turn out to be heartless. The question I ask myself is why are most people cold-hearted these days but people like you who stole up to show love to the orphanage on a special are one of the legendary heroes among us.
89  Other / Meta / Re: 2FA added on: December 21, 2023, 07:28:56 PM
If you use the forgotten-password function, then there's an option to remove the 2FA. So 2FA does not provide any protection in case of a compromised email.
When I first learned about the 2FA features when I wanted to log into my account this is the area I was concerned with based on what I have experienced after the loss of phone where the 2FA application was installed with the saved backup code.
Glad that there's an option to remove the 2FA.
90  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: My Dad got Crypto scammed (UFJPRO) on: December 17, 2023, 09:58:27 PM
Now he finaly wants to get the crypto, or money out of there, but they wont let him.
They force him to pay 10k service charge.
Of course, they won't let him because what he was seeing on the app is just numbers and the real crypto is in the wallet of the scammer. The sad news is that they will keep pressuring him to pay other service charges so he can withdraw his funds but it's all a lie.
All these strategies are old scamming strategy which was refined into new concept and platform.

Is that legit? I cant believe, they give him the Money, after he pays the money.
It is never a legit scheme and it's just the same as the investment ROI scam.

Does anyone have a tipp, or experience with that?
Yes, but there's nothing we can do to help your father get back his lost fund. I think the authorities can help you though.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You will burn on: December 17, 2023, 09:16:49 PM
Investment in Bitcoin is indeed the most safe-haven while shitcoin investment is like a double-edged sword, it could provide a good end means and it could also be the worse nightmare. However, nothing bad in venturing into shitcoin investment if you know how it works against Bitcoin during the halving effect market which is also the time all good shitcoin performs better.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be enough to buy 100 dollars worth of Bitcoin every month? on: December 16, 2023, 09:21:23 PM
whether this is enough or not depends on you, if currently your investment capability is only 100 usd per month, that is more than enough. it's just how you can manage your finances so that you can invest consistently without it interfering with your life and studies. and you need to understand that investing in bitcoin is risky, don't invest money that you are afraid of losing.

i'm sure that if you can manage your investments and your college life, you can get good profits in the future.
Yes, the invested amount is not what is important but the consistency of the OP in repeating the $100 investment in Bitcoin every month.

This time I want to do $50.
Thank you
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be enough to buy 100 dollars worth of Bitcoin every month? on: December 12, 2023, 11:48:39 PM
Having a good job that pays well, well that amount is already good enough. But for someone who don't have a fixed job yet, but just rely from his father's allowance, I guess that is quite too much for investment. [snip]
Yes, the amount is small for some people who don't have a fixed job. The main point is not how small the investment was but how consistent the people will be with the investment decision every month until the goal is achieved because a drop of water can make an ocean.

I need someone who can send $55 (or equivalent in other currencies) to my Payoneer account and I will send the person $65 USDT.
If you're a green trust member I can go first if not we can use an escrow.
Thank you

Hi, I'm available for the swap (we just talked on Telegram).

It's the end of the year again, where the pressure of wanting to "flex" or look fulfilled for the year,
Speaking of flex and looking to fulfill it for the end of the year. It depends on geographical location, in the US the time for the preparation of the new year has passed but in countries mostly Africa this is the moment for their preparation for the end of the year activities.

So many people look for get rich schemes with ridiculous percentage gain, this scammers know there's an increase desperation by people this period.
Yes, but with the report and ROI investment scam scheme. I believe only the newbies will fall for get rich pyramid scam scheme.

99  Economy / Reputation / Re: BlackHatCoiner decided to take a leave from bitcointalk on: December 10, 2023, 10:54:31 PM
BlackHatCoiner was truly one of the assets of this forum but I think he left the forum because he might have to do something which's more important than this forum for him. The guy has been very contributive and we all appreciate that but sometimes we have to take such decisions and that's basically for good of everyone. I wish that where-ever he is he may get all the happiness in the world and I'm pretty sure that he will be back on the forum when everything is okay for him.
The BlackHatCoiner exit reminds me of Lauda's exit post years ago and with the help and service he has rendered to this forum the major reason why he will leave the forum will be real-life responsibility with the limited time he has spent on coding since he enthusiast of coding.
In the meantime, we can only guess the reason why he leaves until he tells us about it but he chooses to make it private, and since it's something that is worth it.
100  Economy / Reputation / Re: After Sinbad, which mixer is Next To Be Shutdown? on: December 09, 2023, 11:46:01 PM
In the future to prevent crypto mixers from troubling the authority they will increase the time to do some background checks on their customer. I'm saying this due to how abusive leads to KYC in crypto casinos.
That defeats the purpose of mixing
Do you think using centralized crypto mixing doesn't have the chance of defeating the purpose of mixing? You entrusted someone you don't know from Adam to mix your coin for you. You don't know if the service of the crypto is mixed very well, and you don't know if the mixer is operated by the Feds. An example is how Sinbad use innocent people's fund for their dirty fund.
The only mixing that didn't defeat the purpose of mixing is the decentralized one.

they have to trust the mixer in case they ask for KYC will they do because, in the first place, they use the mixer to anonymize their identity and they will also fear that the mixer will hostage their information.
I'm not talking about KYC but the mixer doing some background checks on the wallet address if the transaction comes from a flag, criminal, or scammer wallet.

If one mixer will do that background checking the clients will just choose other mixers that will not do background checking, we cannot change the business model of the mixer that's how they worked and that's how they are being patronized.
They are here to stay if authorities go after them or consider them illegal they always have the darknet to turn to.
How will users of a centralized crypto mixer know that the mixer they used does some background check on them?
Mixing is not illegal and it was recognized by FinCen but rendering the service for criminals, drug lords, etc is what is illegal.
