Jap. Vermutlich geht es mittlerweile eher um das eigene Ego, als darum eine Lösung zu finden, die möglichst wenig Schaden anrichtet.
Mit welcher Begründung sind die Mining-Pools eigentlich zu BU gewechselt? Hab die Debatte in der Vergangenheit nur oberflächlich verfolgt.

Market price is up to .000090 on Bittrex. Got to thank ETH and DASH for this, and also the BTC Civil War that is brewing.
The price of KMD looks much better than the attack before, I guess that people think KMD team is competent to handle all the messes, therefore KMD is rising. There is still no way to transfer coins to bittrex. I dont think the price is reflecting the real value. |

... Die erste Chain die tatsächlich einen Mehrwert zu Cryptocurrencies bietet... (die sonstigen ALTs (XRP ausgenommen ) bilden ja mehr oder weniger den BTC nach... in Nuancen die für die breite Masse irrelevant sind. ... Hast du dich mit anderen Alts beschäftigt? Scheinbar nicht. Es gibt teilweise erhebliche unterschiede und vollkommen neue Ansätze Probleme anzugehen, für die die Bitcoin Chain keine Lösung bietet. ARDR mit seinen Child-Chains und dem BaaS Konzept, Komodo welches die Bitcoin Hashrate zum sichern von Transaktionen nutzt oder zcash mit seinen neuartigen anonymisierungs-verfahren. Um nur mal 3 zu nennen. Es gibt viele Alts, welche teilweise deutlich bessere Technik verwenden als Bitcoin. Sie haben nur alle den großen Nachteil, dass sie zu spät kommen. Der Netzwerk-Effekt macht die BTC-Dominanz nahezu unangreifbar.. jedenfalls für die nähere Zukunft. |

So und nun mal tacheles... der Hype um ein paar ALTs ist ja gerade mächtig. Und uns allen dürfte klar sein - wie auch aus der Vergangenheit bekannt - das es irgendwann zu einer grösseren ALT Korrektur kommen wird...
Aber wie seht ihr die Zukunft um ETH. Der Kursanstieg ist ja beträchtlich und nachdem ich mich etwas eingehender mit Ethereum beschäftigt habe sehe ich darin tatsächlich Potential...
Potential ist relativ. Die meisten Coins in den top 30 haben irgendein Alleinstellungsmerkmal, aus dem man sich eine tolle Geschichte für Potential zimmern kann. Aber am ende ist es 90% gambling, das sollte man sich bewusst sein. NXT/ARDR zB hat eine super Technik, sehr erfahrene Entwickler und eine klasse Community. Geholfen hat es bisher wenig. Ethereum hat einen (oder mittlerweile mehrere?) Fork hinter sich und steigt als gäbe es keinen morgen mehr. Da geht es noch weniger als beim BTC um Fakten. Und das sage ich nicht als ein Altcoin-Flamer und BTC-Hyper. Bin selber seit mehreren Jahren zu ca 50% in Alts. |

I dont, because i dont have the technical Knowledge. But if people ask for money for a project, they should know what they do, right? I dont say it is easy to build something like that. It is certainly not. Its a really hard business. For me (and some others here too it seems) it looks like the team is unable to cope with the situation and (what is way more disturbing) to get a realistic view on it. |

The Fuding of some users here is quite annoying, thats right. At least as annoying as the people which run around with closed eyes and say everything is fine.

We should look at the facts, its a fucking chaos. And the prce is reflecting that.

For those that dont understand that a coin's emission and supply are the MOST important things for people to trust, I am not sure what to say. A coin that is allowed to be created out of thin air would lose a lot more trust than stopping the chain at an announced block in realtime and then doing what you said you would do
You cant compare that. The Blockchain Technology was new, the commmunty small and there where no alternatives. Today there are way more competitors and you have to pay for every single mistake. Rollback is the only thing you can do now. But it will be hard for the reputation.. very hard. |
