nlg.smarterhash.com pool wallet updated

Thanks Smiley
I would update http://nlg.lifeforce.info pools also but I'm shutting down the stratum for mining there this coming Saturday and shutting down pools at the end of the month.

I'm getting as many people possible migrated over to http://pools.smarterhash.com

thanks
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt Coin Miners - stop wasting hash and start making more money! on: March 18, 2015, 11:58:48 AM
juts a quick follow up...

within 15 minutes of me posting the message above that I had switched one of my machines to Mona - Mona's network Hash went from 94 MH/s to 119 MH/s - the highest it has ever been.

well sorry to report... I've switched again and left Mona for a higher paying coin if you're watching and I know you are... Smiley

this sounds like way too much work to make a $ 2-3 more an hour.

I like your other idea, point mutiple miners to 4 or so coins and sell high etc.

depending on how much hash you have an extra $3/hour is $36/day or $1,116 / month can be quite substantial. I see people making  $1/day mining in the pools.

its not too much work for me to press a few keys to net an extra $1,116 / month.

LOL, I think he is referring to people with decent mh/s, only making $1 per day, and people throwing 400 mh/s at coins like mooncoin with crap value.

My iffy rig can make $1 per day mining on whatever, but using smarterhash can make $2 on $3 on a good day..  Average that into a bunch of $1 per day and it brings the average right up.  30% to 40% is easy, working out the averages versus mining blind.

I do have some hashra's on order, so I've been playing with the larger hashrate they provide and being attentive to the results, and the ROI on them is cut in about half.  While the ROI on smarterhash has almost paid itself off in 4 months with my current hash, so smarterhash is pretty much all profit from here..  Cheesy

the perfect example is taking place right now on http://gld.lifeforce.info

there's a miner throwing 300 MH/s at this coin.

Now mind you I do pass judgement on anyone for what they choose to mine because they may have ulterior motives but as I write there there are 16 other srcypt coins that pay better daily than Goldcoin.

In fact 4 of them pay over twice at much as Goldcoin, so with this miners 300/Mh/s instead of making $8.35 /day they could be making over $18.00 if they were a SmarterHash member because they'd know which coins are paying the best.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [EMD] Emerald Crypto Official Thread New Client v. 8.5.1 Update Now! on: March 17, 2015, 11:19:58 PM
I think there's a problem here folks:

I compiled the latest source code wallet and reloaded the entire block chain.

then tried to transfer 100 coins from my cryptsy wallet to the newly compiled wallet

here's the transaction id: 05c0af5a516cf12e39c587e8cf3d09858d1044a04f8ec546dca59e887ecc8165

and the two block explorers at the beginning of this thread cannot find the transaction

Definitely file a support ticket with Cryptsy...

Cryptsy has been having some issues with their EMD wallet lately. I've seen a few instances over the past few weeks where people have had deposit/withdrawal issues there. At the moment, it seems their wallet is stuck on block 2393451 (about 10,000 blocks behind, at this writing). Not sure what the issue is, but I will send a message to Mullick and see what I can find out... or if I can catch Horus in chat, maybe he can find out some info for us.

Both explorers are updated to the latest version of the source. I'm not sure if Cryptsy has updated recently; although, I always send them the info when there is a new update released. It shouldn't make a difference, as I am still running 8.3.1 on one of my systems and its chugging along fine. The only real changes recently have been additional checkpoints...

The next major update will involve a new fork and some database changes, so it will be a mandatory update for everyone. I'm hoping to have it done by the end of April with the actual fork occurring in June to allow everyone ample time to get upgraded. Their may be a minor update released between now and then... still debating on whether to hammer that one out or devote all of my time to the getting the major update finished and polished.  Wink

I've notified them and they've taken the wallet offline until they can get things fixed.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Official Lifeforce.info Pools Thread on: March 17, 2015, 09:25:41 PM
I've contacted cryptsy to let them know their wallet is not compatible with the new wallet and the pool is closed until I can get stored coins out of the wallet.

you should get the new wallet installed as soon as possible but make a copy of the old wallet executable and definately the old wallet.dat because the my old wallet.dat blow up their code so now I'm stuck waiting to see how to sort this mess out.

Am I missing something ? How does this coin bring back the spirit of trading baseball cards ?

Why don't you name a few reasons why you think that it will not?

if this coin doesn't my buddy's business can.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Coinwarz and Whatmine are screwed up on: October 01, 2014, 11:42:13 AM
I have to laugh at the predictions these two sites make because they're inevitable WRONG just about all the time

Both sites has serious flaws and you should be careful to NOT follow them and do your homework before coin jumping.

The perfect example is Whatmine.com

I plugged in 275 MH for scrypt and Whatmine.com told me that I could make $53.05 per day mining Rubycoin

well - here the basic problem - THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!!

and here is why - even if I found every block that Rubycoin generated in a day that's 576 blocks.

Now mind you that Rubycoin has a block reward of 25 coins so that's 576 block * 25 coins = 14,400 coins

Assume BTC = $380 USD

Rubycoin is selling for 722 sat so that's : .103968 btc which is: $39.50

so how can you make $53.05 in a day from a coin that only creates $39.50 a day - YOU FRIGGIN CAN'T! DUH!

The more realistic way to calculate is simple and of course this can change in an instant because network hash changes all the time.

the correct way to calculate your earnings potential in a 24 hours period for a coin is:

(your hash / (Your hash + current network hash)) * (coins minted per day * current value)

therefore assume the following:

My hash is 275 Mh/s
Network Hash is 400 Mh/s

(275 / 275 +400) * (14400 * .00000722) = .0423573 BTC/day = $16.09 / day

If network has did not change and value did not change I would make $16.09 per day mining this coin and I know this is correct.

Please note: this formula as it is stated only works for coins with no POS - there is a more precise calculation I have developed to accurately predict blocks per day for coins with POS and taking difficulty levels into account.

I do this exercise above at least 20 times a day when evaluating coins and I know it works because I run a pool and have to pick and choose which coins the pool will offer and I am always right.

The bottom line is that these sites SUCK when it comes to predicting earning estimates which is exactly why I am developing a site and technology to accurately predict your earning potential for coins and it will be available on a subscription basis - yea Coinwarz and Whatmine are free and yea - you are certainly getting what you pay for from them : wrong information!

My site will also contain programmable triggers to advise when when certain coins have reached certain network hash levels, coin values and difficulty levels.

good luck people and do your homework!! - don't believe that these sites feed you because it's wrong in many many instances!

I'll be offering Beta site subscriptions to early subscribers.

thanks!

Jeff
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EAC] EarthCoin - EAC v1.3.1 Now Available! Now on BTC38 Exchange on: October 01, 2014, 10:53:00 AM
THe OP is out of date - most of the exchanges are gone and the coin is no longer listed on Bittrex and most of the pools are gone. There are nice open orders on Cryptsy which seems like the best place to sell.

What the fuck are you on about?

You stated that if you don't receive "anything" by the end of September you'll sue MAT. Today is the end of September. Have you received anything and what is it? Pictures?

read my fucking message dick wad....

duh!!!

you're pathetic...

and not only pathetic but trying to discredit a company that you've had no dealings with just to help you promote a machine that does not exist that you can't talk about because of an NDA which I am sure you have not signed that does not exist - it's apparent you're a KNC Miner or spoonfoolies employee or reseller - please crawl back in the hole that you climbed out of...

man - you bitcoin guys are so vindictive it's really pathetic - I have no time in my life for such pathetic measures actions or behavior - please grow he fuck up man  - or kid - you're probably a teenager...which explains it

let me share an important message about business with you since appear to have not gotten the memo...

when you're selling something you talk about the strengths and advantages of whatever you're selling - tearing down and trying to discredit the competition only makes you look petty.....

As it related to sweating bullets: If I have not received anything by the end end of September I'll be filing suit in a Danish court against MAT, but I highly doubt it will come to that.

So how is that lawsuit coming?

it's not because I got the shipping notice for my system Smiley

I've been in touch with Marc from Mining-Asics a lot over the past month - I can't say what I know but they got jerked around pretty good by a so called reliable supplier and things were delayed, but to their credit they stayed in touch with me and others and let us know about delays and the reasons for the delays. I'm a happy camper Smiley
