Kudo's to Hashra

First Scrypt Mining company to break the $100/mh barrier and now only does Hashra Break it but they've smashed it with new pricing for Batch 2 set at about $87/MH for all of their units.

just got the newsletter Simon

I don't see any link to the cgminer software on this page http://hashra.com/support/

that you reference in the newsletter.

please post that link

thanks

I see the cgminer link right there on the support page.

They have a Lunar Lander controla and a Lunar Launcher controla. What is the difference?

it does not do me any good - I run linux

how about a git for the source Simon?

I don't care for WinDOZE - I have to use it all day long and prefer something reliable and stable at night - which is why I choose Linux!

even the Pi Rasberry runs Linux for heavens sake!

I have orders 859 and 953 and the later is in Shenzen and the first just left Hong Kong
948  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: LIGHTNINGASIC LA75M,75MHS SCRYPT Miner, USD8800; LA1THS, USD1950.shipped out!!! on: June 04, 2014, 04:51:38 PM
Are those A2 terminators ever gonna come down in price? This price is pathetic, gridseeds are better at current prices and with all the crap coming online over the next couple of months why would anyone pay that much for the terminators..not bitching, just looking for an excuse to buy one but no matter how hard I try I can't rationalize paying that much, makes more sense to buy the cheaper gridseed blades.

It would take 16K usd in blades to get 80Mh
-Bobby

$11185 at current stock price $699

Or $9840 at current sale prices ($615)
this price usd699 for g-blade is no sense. this price didn't cover the psu, rpi cost,  and express charge. if you calculate all cost, its much expensive than LA90M.
LA90M is more easy to manage, and setup big farm.

But they deliver in time, unlike you. My order from you had 15 days delay and I still not received promised compensation. Sent several messages, emails and no reply...

actually 15 blades at 5.6MH each

gives you 84 MH

here at $615 each: $9,075 and if you're ordering 15 I know you could get a discount:

https://minereu.com/product/gridseed-blade-miner-80-chip-speical-promotion/

I just ordered 6 - it's the best deal going and if one fails YOU ARE NOT OUT OF BUSINESS!

you'll need 2,100 watts to power them all, but yo're not putting all your eggs into one basket either.

I like multiple smaller machines.

Now that KNC is offering a 2nd batch Titan (400mhs) miner for $6999, what incentives can you offer to purchasers of your 90mhs scrypt miner ?

Are you kidding?HuhHuh?
With all the pre-order BS with all these mining companies who in the hell would pre-order?
Thats nuts, just ask the people who ordered those miners from Zeus. 3X power use, OMG!
-Bobby

I love they they're talking abut Batch 2 when they're not even close to delivering Batch 1 : LOL   Roll Eyes

incentives: how about starting mining tomorrow instead waiting perhaps months or possibly never getting the so called machine from Batch 1 or Batch 2...

that's the incentive.

the 85 mh machine generates me $130 every day - now let's see....

Let''s assume I wait for a 300 MH machine from KNC which If I am lucky will arrive September 1.

Septmeber 1 is 85 days from now.

85 days X $130/day = $11,050

there's your incentive

ok?

ps: $130 is on DOGE and I'm actually mining something that's paying $155/day right now.

and where else can you take $10k and get your money back in 90 days and after that's it's just about all profit...

here's a picture of someone who never stops waiting for the next best thing to arrive...

based on the above information I think you are due a refund - the only strange part of this is this: You computer is now with the shipper. It's possible that it was turned over the the shipper and out of Hashra's possession before he received your letter and it would not be prudent for any business to issue a refund when there's a chance you may just keep the refund and the miner.

Since you are also in China it seems the best way is for you to return the unit after it's received or simply refuse shipment that way the shipping company can notify Hashra that the unit was never delivered and you can get your refund.

Technically speaking - YOU ARE CORRECT - the unit was truly NOT shipped on May 31st and I agree your are entitled to a refund.

opposing opinions chime in please....

I cant disagree with your logic. Though I think Hashra should have acknowledged their mistake and offered the solutions that you mentioned. I think maybe they were hoping to ignore the problem away. They dont want to open the flood gates. We all after all are due a refund.

I could care less if it's a JUST few days late. I hope it arrives by this friday, because after that I would consider it seriously late and would not be a happy camper.

I'm not an official voice but a customer waiting for his gear.

and Marc from Mining Asics does post but by his own admission to me via skype he's simply been too busy working the designers, engineers, etc to spend an reasonable amount of time on here...

however the other forum is visiting their office today and will hopefully have some feedback for everyone.

We have decided to implement Scrypt - Regardless of what algorithm we choose, there are going to be supporters and also attackers of our decisions. Our idea : Keep it simple, and let our implementation do the work. And, of course, remain transparent and active.

As for working to get listed: The talks are in the works, and I've also been contacted regarding games, a block explorer, all of the wallets. So, we are essentially setting up for a full launch.

Thanks!

thanks - I'll be happy to help out with a press release and contacting the exchanges. I can help there....

getting a few pools on board is a biggie also right off the bat.

x11 or x13 is the way to go, I would also look at qubit if it interests you. But don't scrypt this one please for the love of god.

what do you care - your rigs can still do scrypt...

if fact before I sold all of my gpus all I did was scrypt because dodge and ltc were the most profitable...

you offer no valid argument as to why not to do scrypt.

956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GreenCoin | Carbon Offsetting Cryptocurrency | No Premine | Scrypt on: June 04, 2014, 11:06:53 AM
the price will be green!!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

not unless you're listed it won't and someone needs to take that ball and run with it once the coin is launched.

and getting listed should occur as soon after mining starts as possible so the dumpers can start early and dump their coins - people who wait get baraged by huge dumps, then coin value plummets and never recovers. I saw it the other day with Hyper - it's now in the dumps and will stay there because they waited a few days to try and get listed and it gave everyone lots of time to accumulate large volumes of coins. They did very little and I wound up getting it listed for them just so I could sell my coins.

My recommendation is this: get the listing lined up before launch - buy your way onto a decent exchange like cryptsy and make mining difficult.

a person should not be able to mine more than 10 - 15 coins per days per/mh

that will keep values in the 10,000+ satoshi range and DO NOT offer BIG block reward at the outset. Sure it encourages mining but it encourages the pure profit seekers to mine the hell out of the coin for the first few days then dump.

and don't have a really big number of confirmations before confirming a block. Tag does that and it aggravates the hell out of people - they have to wait almost an entire day for a block to be confirmed and often miss being able to sell during price spikes.

In addition make sure to integrate Digishield and KGW to protect the difficulty from getting slammed permanently if you have huge network hash rates form time to time.

that's my .02

I vote for scrypt

asic scrypt is the most energy efficient mining available.

if you truly are green then straight scrypt is the only way to go...

the guys at Einsteinium can't be wrong.

i sold all  my rigs in the past few weeks and only run asic scrypt now - I got tired of the electric bills and wanted more money to gas up up prius (not really - my prius already gets 54 mpg, I just wanted more beer money)

I am definitely taking this to heart. Hopefully you can give us a few MH/s Smiley Thanks for the info!

well  - one thing is for certain - if you're not scrypt I won't be giving you anything and I have 180MH to spread around and I'm always looking for new coins.
958  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: HASHRA - LUNAR LANDER - ASIC SCRYPT MINERS 12.5MH+ - 75MH+ on: June 04, 2014, 10:50:09 AM
yea - I'm anxious to get mine and test it out.

My partners and I will be starting a mining/hosting service with minimum 1 month rent/MH or lease to own and our initial plans are to order 100 units in the 25-35 mh range and it's up to me to decide which units to purchase.

We want our customers to be able to earn a minimum of $25/day from LTC or DOGE for those who want a consistent revenue stream.

They're doing all the marketing materials, working on print ads and radio spots and lining up the seminar schedules to educate potential investors. I have all the it work to do.
