881  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: HASHRA - LUNAR LANDER & LAUNCHER - ASIC SCRYPT MINERS 14MH+ - 78MH+ on: June 09, 2014, 11:26:22 PM
If I purchased another lunar launcher, could I run it off of the same r-pi as the other lunar launcher? Can I run it off of the spare USB port on the pi or do I need powered hub? Will contrala software recognize another launcher?

the answer is yes

The Raspberry Pi's support up to 20 devices (provided they have a properly powered USB Hub).

I use this for my seeds and my blades and it would work fine for multiple hashra units too

I just received my "lunar launcher". I hooked it up and it's been running for about 15 min now on clevermining. Miner is only hashing at around 11.40 mhs, 9 hardware errors and around 13% rejects. This is not good.

give it some time - for some reason they're slow to start and often take 15 to 20 minutes to get going.

can you check clevermining to see what they're reporting hashing wise?

The HASHRA controls crashed and I had to restart my r-pi. Though now it seems to be doing better. 14.34 MHS average. 4 hw errors and 6.19% reject. Oh also on a side note, I can also confirm that the power cable that came with the r-pi didn't work. I had to use a different cable plugger into wall socket. You also had this problem, correct?

yes and so have others - fortunately the Pi used the same power connector as most droid phones which is what I had to use for the 2nd hashra box I got - I also found out the ethernet cables that come with the units are usleless - would not work at all.

ps: if you have ssh - ssh to the pi with username/password:  pi/controla and then "tail f- /var/log/syslog' if you really want to keep an eye on things. I do

by the way - I grabbed the wallet from the OP and I assume that v1.5.2.0 is the most recent wallet vsn?

v1.5.2.0 is the old one!
The latest, hard fork ready version is 2.0, it's here - https://github.com/Tranz5/bottlecaps/releases/tag/2.0

guess someone should update OP -

thank you!

is there a block explorer for this coin?

I'm on a pool that has ALL of the network hash but blocks are missing - how can that be?

hmmmm.

Why do you think that pool has has ALL of the network hash?
I'm solo mining CAPs right now, also i see at least 2 pools with live miners.

wow - you must have a lot of hash to be able to mind this coin with a difficulty of about 5 to 6....every time I tried solo I wound up better in a pool

As an early supporter of Hashra - I for one feel us early supporters who paid in full up front to help fund the development of these systems are owed something.

We have been slapped in the face with late delivery and then we  come to find out that a mere 7 days from now the same units that we paid a lot of money for are now available for at least 25% less than we paid.

It's a real insult to me and others - I know they have sent me PM's and there are a lot of unhappy people.

Is this what we get for helping Hasra get started?

I was probably the first person to get the unit in the U.S. and I just got it two days ago and wowee - I get a whole 9 day advantage in terms of mining over people who did not have faith in Hashra?

I won't make in 9 days what I could have saved - that's for sure.

In my humble opinion there would be no Hashra miners even available for sale had he not stepped up to the plate and placed our orders

it's insulting to be treated this way.

One very disgruntled customer

Was yours also shipped on the 4th of June?  That alone is reason for compensation.

Dave - I ordered two and the first was received on June 5 and the second on June 6. My the shipping documents mine were shipped on Sat - May 31st.

I am just asking for some 'consideration' in some form for being an original 'investor' in Hashra and making it possible for these machines to even exist.

I paid $1615 for Batch 1 on May 22.  I'm assuming the package is on it's way to me, but I have no idea when it will arrive.  SF-express tracking just says it's in transit in Los Angeles.

The unit shipped on June 4th.

I would like some form of compensation before Batch 2 starts shipping.

Me too!

you folks should take a look at:

http://poolpicker.eu/

what you see is that it's pretty darn tough to beat straight LTC mining.

so for the last 24 hours they're at 87% LTC profitability - which is why I'm glad I mine LTC at ltcrabbit.com

Here's my opinion

I believe that all of us are clearly entitled to the revised price - especially since that price WAS ANNOUNCED AND POSTED before any of us received our miners.

I paid $3,295 x 2 minus 10% for a total of $5,931 for two Warp 2 units

Prior to delivery the price was revised to:  $2,275 x 2 = $4,550

Therefore we are entitled to the new price not only because it was a new price, but just out of common courtesy for Hashra to do what's right for the customers that supported his business and helped get it started.

I would like a refund of $1,381 or a Lunar Lander plus $131

I will continue to support Hasha IF they step up and do what it right.

I believe this may come into play also since Hashra claims offices in the U.K.

Alpha pretty good profit margin if they can upgrade 25 MH to 250.

If they deliver what they say when they say,  which is still yet to be seen.

my peronal opinion is that they're scammers and will never deliver. They've not offered one single shread of evidence hat they have anything in development. The desire to purchase of these is quite string but my heart and brain tell me no.

I have units of order from Miningasicstechnologies.com and at least thay have a functional prototype and are willing to let people visit their offices...

I realy do hpe I am wrong about them.

I have the most faith in them , i just cant host them anymore. Plans in life drastically changed  Roll Eyes

Offer UP! 1 btc is far too low

best of luck to you

actually - he's entitled to a full refund - we all say the statement on the website - it can't be ignored.

I want a partial refund. I want the difference betweeen what I paid and what Batch 2 are selling for.

afterall - it was my money that even made Batch 2 possible.

I will not settle for a penny less.

According to DHL my batch#1 ASIC is still in Germany.. Cry
Still long way to the SE of Europe....
I don't blame Hashra, that 2 days Chinese Festival + weekend was a real [....] for us, as customers.

IMHO, If Hashra want to give us a coupon as compensation for the delays, it is more than welcomed.

I'd prefer a partial refund

a coupon only locks you into ordering more from them.

In fact I've already asked for a partial refund but Simon has ignored that part of my emails to him.

I mean, KNC titans clock in at 1MH/s per 17.50$, totalling it to $6995 for 400MH/S, even though the shipment time will be awhile, it'll still be more profitable.

Lets take in Calculations from CroMiner, 0.0015BTC per MH/s, but be harsh and say they arrive late July, so the diff has increased around 70%, that'll mean 0.00045BTC per MH/s, bringing it up to 0.18BTC Per day, totalling to around 4-5BTC Per month, lowering to 3-4BTC Next month and 2-3BTC the one after and finally, in the 4th month around 1-2BTC, if you mine like a zombie at CleverMining, so most likely scenario is that you'll make around 12BTC in the 4 months by running on CleverMining, resulting in a return of $7'800 whilst not taking in the Possible price increase of bitcoin, which'll result in an ROI + a profit of 805$, which i would think successful, and you will be making profit from there on, whereas CroMiner has proven that Hashra's miners have a low chance of ROI. This is the reason why not a lot of people are buying up Scrypt ASICS, because the price is just too expensive, around 5X more expensive than KNC's price tag, which doesn't make any sense at all. Personally, i am agreeeing with CroMiner, and think that it would be more beneficial in the long term for your business to lower the Price per MH/s, which'll benefit both you and your customers.

Just my 2 Satoshis on this matter, good day though.

this is very easy to say when KNC has not delivered one single scrypt miner and in fact has been sued for failure to deliver Bitcoin miners.

I am not defending Hashra but you're comparing when does not exists and may never exist to what does exist.

In addition you do not know how much it costs to produce one of these things.

How long can a company stay in business if it's make no profit.

Your observation is an interesting one, however you've put no skin in the game.

If this is as simple as lowering the price, then you are free to build your own machine and sell it at that price.

just my humble 2 satoshi.

I never told them not to make any profit, merely just mentioned that they should lower their profit margins to a suitable one where they can still make some money from it, but still keep their customers happy.

Just my humble 2 satoshis.

perhaps you are not happy, but I am satisfied with the cost per mh at this point in time.

I won't be 6 weeks from now and that's why I have 500mh on order from Mining Asics Technologies - because it will be much lower in price.

My advice for you who are weak of heart. Simply wait until you get hashing power as cheaply as you think you are 'entitled' to.

the machines are coming - or course you miss mining between now and then, but hey - that's just the way the cookie crumbles.
