We'll print more money out of thin air, like we always do.  Thanks for reminding us tho, problem solved Smiley

442  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: February 26, 2015, 03:00:38 PM
This thread inspired many bitcoiners to HODL their coins and don't get pressured by the markets. The ones who lost this mind-game are the ones who bought in at a high entry-point and sold at a low price.

Either way, I'M HODLING!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Good... Good...

We all bang on about trains and moons... give it 25 years and the trains will be hyperloops and the moon and mars a possible work destination.

Nah, it was a bad idea.  Just admit it already.

445  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: February 26, 2015, 02:42:34 PM
... That, combined with the next halving anticipation, should precipitate some upward movement for BTC.

Yeah, but it won't.  Nothing seems to help BTC lately Sad

What if WordPress just doesn't want to support terrorists?

You'd need to ask HSBC, they're pro at laundering money to terrorist organizations.

Yeah, but HSBC does a bunch of other stuff, too.  Bitcoin?  Well, there's this...

^ off topic but...

How about we return to discussing something a bit more relevant?
Why don't you have a seat right over there?

Seriously tho, why are Bitcoiners such miscreants/sexual deviants?  I'm not judging, just want to understand...

When most anti-bitcoin people talk about bitcoin all I hear is how the price is not stable and it can't be used everywhere yet and not everyone uses bitcoin yet. To me this just shows how much growth potential there is with bitcoin. ...

When most anti-BTCeanie BTCabies people ... to me it just shows how much growth etc., etc.

Tons of banks in the early 1900's got robbed or went out of business, it didn't eliminate the need for banks...

That's 'coz there was an initial need for banks.  No need for Bitcoin.

...Give it ten years and everyone will be kicking themselves for not jumping on the Bitcoin BTCeanie train earlier.

...
Blame the shitty exchanges, they get hacked and robbed. Not Bitcoin.

Unlike fiat, Bitcoin has no mechanisms for dealing with fraud.  BTC transactions are irreversible, and the currency is [half-ass] anonymous, which lends itself perfectly to scamming/theft.

Enough already. Guys, put this thread out of its misery.

You meant to post this in the Havelock thread, right?
453  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 26, 2015, 02:01:03 PM
terrists killerz gotta haz some coins!  What is the total funding for jihadists that can be confirmed so far? ~5 BTC?
...

Never said you Bitcoiners weren't stingy Undecided
I remember Humble Bundle accepting BTC, I think those folks got substantially less than 5 coinz.
Lesson learned, I suppose.

Follow-up article on coindesk:

WordPress CEO: We Haven't Given Up on Bitcoin

http://www.coindesk.com/wordpress-ceo-we-havent-given-up-on-bitcoin/

That's a good news and I hope they start accepting it soon. Bitcoin is still a growing crypto currency and more websites should start accepting it.

What if WordPress just doesn't want to support terrorists?

Knock fuckin' knock, Bitcoiner.
          The jig's up.

But subjectivity is objective...

There.
459  Economy / Speculation / Re: One of the biggest Wall Street Bitcoin bulls just turned bearish on: February 26, 2015, 12:56:38 PM
...
Someone announcing to the public they are bearish on bitcoins means they want to buy bitcoin.  Not fooled by this.

Conversely, someone announcing they're bullish means they're trying to GTFO.
460  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 26, 2015, 12:52:21 PM
... Education certainly does not need to be publicly funded and controlled by bureaucrats to be effective or accessible at all. Why does this myth exist in spite of the myriad evidence against it?
It does in order to be accessible. And for society and social econommics, that's the important bit.

Libertarians discussing education is sorta like cats discussing particle physics.
