Hey,
why do you game-protect not write a private message to jake_a99 who has somehow lost 74 bitcoin in Satoshidice.
I mean for 55.000USD it should be worth to take a lawyer in Curaçao, something game-protect is very savvy in and finally put some pressure on Satoshidice?
Instead of filling this forum with insinuations and hidden "legal-help"offers.

Jake_a99.. If you really still miss your 74 bitcoins and have not been contacted via skype, telefone or pm for this amount of money I think having some feet on the ground in Curaçao would be interesting. Test out game-protect.. I am curious.
Well done, I think actually, a legal counsel for these thing would be very interesting.

Why do they not show the "Total Net Won" of a player?

How can investors see / prove the "Total Net Won" of satoshidice.com?
Because I think it is private information... sort of..

It's none of my business anymore since I divested from your bankroll.
But your new user https://www.satoshidice.com/user/ed10cec930365a1af6db2225843f6e36 Underdog01253 has by now won 1500, one thousand five hundred! Bitcoins... with 60% luck..
Hail the gamblers..
I am really happy for the guy.. But I continue thinking it unlikely...
I just saw it with my own statistics.. This page only shows the won amount.. So it is likely that underdog01253 has lost a considerable amount.. however we do not see the result openly.. He is just a whale and I was wrongly worried that the site might have a problem.. sorry about the confusion

Jake,
I agree with you. Ask the (inexistent) support for you access logs, so you can figure out what happened. Ask the blockchain history of you address.. (that you can even look up yourself I think.. if you remember the addresses.. ). And.. for your amount they should provide a skype or fone that you can talk.. we are talking about 60k USD..
Hope you can figure it out..

Do he speak about your password in regards to your satoshidice account or in regards to your email account. Why do he not speak about passwords?

Because usually you would need to confirm withdrawals from your email account and you would have usually a different password like your satoshidice account.

He didn't say anything other than what I posted. He made no mention of how any of this could have occurred. He didn't tell me if my password was reset (which would have sent an email as well, of which there is no evidence of, nor evidence of an unknown login that could have deleted the reset email.) And yeah no mention of withdrawal protocols or anything.

All in all, no actual information, just an informal "haha we robbed you" as far as I can tell.

Jake, I am not a specialist.. but I have withdrawn 60 btc recently. There is NO confirming email for each withdrawal. So what they are saying,. if somebody sat on your computer, and logs into satoshidice and you had your password saved, he could easily have transferred the btc.
Request some more help from them. Let them give you you access report, addresses where the btc. went.. So you can figure out what happened. I agree that their support is very bad and that they should offer 2fa to avoid such risks and, and, and.. thats why I pulled out two days ago.
Hope you can figure it out.

Hi guys,
Just wanted to chime in. I had 79 bitcoin invested, got "diluted" to 68 bitcoin when this strange whale won 340btc on January 13. SInce then have lost confidence in the site. But... On the bright side ... I got my 68 bitcoin out in 24 hours. Just try every 60 minutes... sometimes you get 0,5 sometimes you get 50 sometimes you get 10... But.. I got it out... So at least it seems it is not a total scamm...(yet).

I lost confidence because the huge winners where all people who logged onto the site and in the same first two hours won huge amount all with name like piratexxxxx or underdogxxxxx where the xxxxx are numbers.. I don't know.. It might be that it is just winning loosing.. where I would have no problem... But it seemd fishy. Since the site has NO SUPPORT at all, nobody to talk to, nobody who defends their position or helps...I am really happy that I got out and can watch as a bystander now..

Can somebody vote me up as trustworthy pleasssse... I am such a nice person...haha

Today I got a PM from Radian Hero saying: "We have let you cash out completelynow, right?"
To which I responded: " YES, but I would appreciate some comments in the forums on what happened".

Mrcash
Do NOT invest in this casino right now.
They lost some hundred btc for two clients, stopped responding all support since 12 january2016, had a whale on his first gambling day win 360btc 10% of bankroll and their wallets are all empty.
Wait until they show that they still have funds, exist, where not hacked or have their sever seeds cracked.
I had 79 btc there...got reduced to 68 and have today managed to withdraw 55 hoping tomorrow getting it all out.
Dont invest in sites that do not respond on any channel! That do not offer 2fa, have empty cold wallets.... imho.

Ps
i did and it was a bad experience.
iam also invested in moneypot and they seem much better and correct

Please write somehting so I know you guys still exist.
I tried today to retrieve 68 btc and managed 5 OK. Please tell when you prop up hotwallet.

Dean, nice to have you back. I invested here. And I see that my 72btc became 66 btc in the last days.. but that may be through normal winning/loosing of some whales. I am very worried however that I loose money but the banks profit does not fall???

Looking at the charts:

https://dicesites.com/satoshidice

On Jan 11 they ostensibly lost 326 BTC, so that's probably where the drop comes from
Rhavar.. Thank you a lot for your answer.. Yes.. that makes sense...
That was this guy Underdog. See his statistics https://www.satoshidice.com/user/ed10cec930365a1af6db2225843f6e36
He plays always 0,25 btc.. but when he wins he has a leverage of hundreds and when he looses he only has 0,16 x .
So. He signed up on 11 of January and won 300+ bitcoins in one run... Hey...GIVE ME A BREAK>> the guy know the server seed...Do you not think?? I am not so savvy in theses things.. but it seems fishy.. Any opinions? Or an explanation of Satoshidice...PLEAAAASE
74  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshi Dice - Play Instant Bitcoin Dice & Invest in the Bankroll on: January 14, 2017, 04:42:42 PM
Hey Radian Hero,
can you explain why my bankroll investment went from 79 btc to 65 btc.. since 1 of Jan but you state that the profit has risen in that same time?
Would also be quieting if you would reply to betking.io's accusations here. .
I AM VERY WORRIED>>> Give us something... !!!
I am 3% of you bankroll!!
75  Economy / Gambling / Re: Satoshi Dice - Play Instant Bitcoin Dice & Invest in the Bankroll on: January 14, 2017, 04:34:28 PM
I highly advise you get your money off this site now....if you even can.

There's now two people who have had large sums stolen (~78 and ~48 bitcoin)
A hack by someone else seems unlikely considering you only need to look through this thread to see that that kind of money is never in their hot wallet.

The two accounts posting about the hack might be new btctalk accounts but I know each of them and can confirm they are telling the truth.

The fact support never replies to anyone, their hot wallet is always empty and they STILL don't have 2fa should put you off playing here.

The site has been sold many times over the years, each time at a loss to a new operator.

I warned everyone about this as soon as they opened the investment option.

It has now been confirmed by Eric Voorhees that he doesn't know the owners of the site.
So long term brand recognition means nothing.

There's still 2000 coins invested here. Get your money off while/if you still can.

This site is very likely a scam!

Dean, nice to have you back. I invested here. And I see that my 72btc became 66 btc in the last days.. but that may be through normal winning/loosing of some whales. I am very worried however that I loose money but the banks profit does not fall???

Well, well. I cannot say that everything came as a surprise.
I was 3% of Deans bankroll and was a fervent oponent of the ICO, because it was really badly explained and I think that Dean did a really bad job in communicating and administration.. sorry Dean.
After you deleted two of my posts in this forum with questions I did invest in Satoshidice and Moneypot and am more or less happy and never visited this forum... Now I come back.. target of 2k Btc has not been met.. by far.. which was no surprise...Would have really surprised me IF so many people give so much money to such a flimsy proposal.. But.. you never know.
That Dean got unlucky with his IT security ie. HACKED leaves me very worried....
Well.. Now.. shutting down the site is a real act of value destruction which makes me think that Dean must have a depression.
Since he always treated me nicely (not considering deleting my two threads here in this forum) I wish him a fast recovery.

Hi,
I am newly invested. But for me the site behaves strangely. First it took me a day to get registered.. I use mac Safari.. newest built. Also tried on iPad and iPhone..which strangely works best.
So..it took one day to register.. the pages would hang.. Then it took two days to invest and then a day to get my investment into the bankroll... Is this my problem or do you have server issues.

A very interesting ICO, however the valuation you are putting on the website is ludicrous. You are essentially saying the company is worth the amount of profit earned lifetime, ~7000 bitcoin, which is a bit insane. Dean has been talking about adding sports betting and a casino for a couple years now, and each time they've popped up, they've gotten extremely low traffic and/or they did not function properly. Would this change with better software and better marketing? Yes. However, this also means we have to put our trust as investors into a pie in the sky promise that you have contacts in the industry who can drive the company to another level and finally get a foothold in the bitcoin gambling industry. But I have seen no proof, despite past promises, that this is going to happen. We need more than 'I know a lot of contacts'. We need a portfolio, a well thought out business plan, and more info on these supposed experts you know so we can get a more accurate picture for how you are going to turn investor's money into a casino and marketing machine that actually has a chance at significant market share outside of the Dice market.

You need to lay out exactly what this 2000 bitcoin is going towards.

I think an important question is, why would any contacts or software developer you know want to help build you a casino platform that's worth a damn if you they aren't going to have any equity in the business? Why wouldn't they just build it on their own?

Imagine you walked into Shark Tank and you told Mark Cuban 'I want 1.5 million dollars (2000 btc) for you to invest in 30% of my company. I've shown success in this other market, but this new market I've never been in and I don't know yet exactly what we're going to do, but I know a lot of people in the industry, trust me'. You'd be laughed off the show.

It is also important to note that 1 bitcoin earned 2 years ago is not equal to 1 bitcoin earned today. Back then, the price was about $250, and now its at $750. Even 6 months ago, the price of bitcoin was about 60% of what it is now. A huge chunk of the profit came from those time periods. Bitcoin is at, basically, an all time high. I get the thought process from your perspective, although I think it is misguided. You've tried to sell Betking at least 2 other points in the past year that I can remember, but the problem is almost all of Betking's value stems from the bitcoin community's trust in Dean. The brand and software has very little value in my opinion - that's why no one ever offers anything close to what Dean feels Betking is worth (apparently 7000 btc).

All of this is potentially moot however, because at the end of the day a company is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I seriously doubt this ICO is going to work, considering from what I read in Dean's previous attempt to sell Betking less than a month ago the top bid was 1500 bitcoin for 100% of the company, unless someone offered more and he did not reveal it publicly. How he gets the idea that his top offer was 1500 bitcoin for 100% of the company and in turn starts this ICO 2 weeks later trying to sell 30% for an even larger bitcoin amount than what the top investor offered him for 100% doesn't really make much sense.

Dean's problem in this situation is the only truly valuable commodity in his business is himself as someone who is trusted. That is worth a lot of money. However, all these attempts to sell the whole, or parts, of the company are going to come up short because Dean obviously disagrees with my assessment of the value of his website/software. Dean should eventually just take Betking private and get all the profits himself. It would provide a steady, healthy income for years. Build a new casino/sports betting platform without the investors. Like you said, you are taking in 50% of the profits for a site you believe is worth 5 million dollars and has basically zero operating cost.

A massive problem as well is investors are likely never going to get their investment back+profit, because the only scenario where they do is if Dean decides to sell the company in the future. The problem with that is, Dean is the value of this company. If he doesn't come in the package, no one is paying 7000 bitcoin for this site at the current USD/btc value. Sure, you could sell your shares to other interested buyers, but that will be the only market there is for your shares. You will be relying on dividends to make you money, and this does not have a great outlook if you look at the past few months of wagering on Betking.

The past week, there has been ~670 btc wagered on Betking. That is an expected profit of 6.7 btc/week, or $5,000 per week. $260,000 a year. Or, 19 years to make the $5 million dollars the Dean values his website at.

Also important to look at is how far above EV Betking has been running for Dice. Selling for the actual profit amount is actually quite disingenuous, because Betking could just as easily be at 0 profit as it is at 7000 btc profit. The EV number is the only one that truly matters.

At a much more reasonable ICO price, I would've been very intrigued by investing in Betking/Dean. However, the price is absolutely bonkers.

Regardless, best of luck.

This was one of the best post I have seen on this forum, Sure it is strongly against the idea of this thread, I don't think it should have been deleted.
I was really looking forward to a response from Dean about the negative points raised in this post, When I found it to be deleted I was outraged that the last good bitcoin casino has resorted to the practice of the rest.

EDIT: The quoted text that was deleted was posted by chazley
nice win win, I had my post with similar concerns deleted too yesterday. It is Deans right..this suposed to be "his" sales add... I was 3% of bankroll and will definitely not buy into this new venture but wish Dean, who was always correct luck. Very unhappy that I was forced out ...
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BetKing.io ICO - Bitcoin Gambling website on: December 01, 2016, 11:13:40 PM
A very interesting ICO, however [omissis]
Thank you for this very interesting post.

I would add something more that bothers me, which is the lack of legal bond between the newly emitted stocks and the company's value. Someone already pointed out that the Company might decide to invest all the money raised in expense (which I prefer to call investments), so where does this value go? The "regular" economic answer is: it rises the stock's price. At the moment, I believe that such "stock" is something a bit too vague to be the basis of such a big operation. It is not clear what form it will have, how will it be traded, and most of all how strong is the legal bond (if any) with the Company's value. I can easily see Dean selling (in good faith) his 70% of the Company and the new owner just deciding to pay 0% dividends for the rest of its life (claiming a 0% profit), since there is no public balance, no audit to the books, and in general no disclosure apart what Dean has been so kind to provide. Even if Dean decided to buyback all shares and then sell 100% of the Company (which I seem to recall he hinted to, possibly in not so explicit a form), I doubt any possible buyer would accept to disclose the full price of the operation, thus allowing the refunds at a nominal value.

I would be pleased to hear from Dean about this.
These are exactly my concern. I think shareholders rights are just totally not represented in an ICO. You totally depend on the issuer and have nor rights whatsoever. It's a blanco check. The investment in a bankroll was much much fairer.. somehow controllable.

Hey
I really liked just-dice when it was BTC.
Then it was closed.
Now it reopens with these CLAMS.
I should import all my BTC Wallet into a program, which I do not know... had to install on my computer...

I mean... I would never do that.. .I hardly believe in the security of the BTC Blockchain.. But then put another algorithm on top of it.

And WHY.. WHY would you add this layer of complexity?

Please bring back BTC investing.
