41  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is wrong with Kraken? on: December 15, 2017, 12:30:31 PM
I am, like all of you trying for three weeks to trade and withdraw.

I am starting now to be worried, that what is hidden behind “ technical “ problems is also a illiquidy trap... they go in direction MT GOX and you will never be able to withdraw...
I am now not upset anymore.. I am now worried..
Because it is just not very convincing that a with cloudcomputing and all they cannot keep up with deamand FOR MORE THAN A MONTH?Huh??
42  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kraken 520 error on: December 15, 2017, 12:20:13 PM
For the past couple of weeks every time I go to Kraken to withdraw BTC funds it returns 520 error. Is it a new Kraken withdrawal policy? Is Kraken just dying? What happens? Any suggestions are welcomed.
Hey
I write this three weeks after the problems with KRAKEN started. I have a huge amount of money their and cannot withdraw since November.
I simply no not manage to get anything done.
Until today I only wanted to buy 50ETH.. but.. since I wanted two weeks ago the EHT has risen.

Now.. .from today on.. I am only worried that the site is like MT GOX ... bankrupt.. They hide behind “server problems” but.. they have gotten off gard with the valuation of BTC and all the rest and are bust and cannot pay...... That is a more convincing theory than a trading site that cannot upgrade its server FOR THREE WEEKS.

Can you imaging WHO runs their IT!... I was SOO stupid to trust them... Really... NEVER LEAVE YOU Crypto on sites... they ALL fail sooner or later.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Moneypot Bankroll Losses on: November 03, 2017, 02:58:50 PM
I have sincerely never understood how a gambling site could go from 500BTC positive to 92 Btc Negative with 1% House edge.
Does anyone have an explanation?
I would really know, what the market thinks what happened.

Also.. as an investor.. one does not see ones bankroll stake anymore? Am I the only one still invested? Are there others?
44  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Escrow services on: October 16, 2017, 09:04:39 PM
Are you using it ? I yes, which one ?

Would you consider a "traditional" escrow service, run by a valid law office (Canada), dealing for escrow up to 50 000 000$ US and providing judge services, in case of a dispute ?

www.btc.legal
I have used btc.legal s services for a more litigious matter in Canada recently and can affirm that he is a real brick and mortar law firm with years of experience and.. that is important savvy in matters of crypto currencies and investing. If you need Escrow or other legal advice I am sure he will deserve your confidence.

Hi,
I am an investor with 103BTC.
I cannot comment on any deals.
However I would like to know from you, WHERE Moneypot and promised 6%? I was never approached?
How do you manage your investment there?
Do you still "see" how much you have?
Do you still see somewhere how many bets they do? Anything?
Help appreciated

When I last could look it was 103BTC.

Nice to hear, that you are getting to grips with them.
The question remains.. How much RBIES did you claim and will you claim?.. If you do not want to open this info.. I understand.. yours maiden

Hey Crazycraig,
No.. I know how much it is.. But It must show up on my account, like in the old days..

Or.. is it, that, since you implement MPX the current BTC invested in the bankroll do not show up anymore?
Well... anyway. do not want to hijack this thread for this problem. send me a pm with my bankroll and we take it from there.

Hey MPX team,
can you tell us, when you will have the Wallet function up and working. And the trading platform.

I sometimes thinks you should reconsider the name.. Might be that "MONEYPOT" was just not a lucky idea.
Serious Wallets, like Blockchain  or Trading sites like Kraken are already difficult to trust.. but MONEYPOT.

Also.. I must state that I am a current investor and my login DOES NOT show my Bankroll amount invested anymore.. Which other investors might interpret as "scam".. Which I am sure it is not.. But it should keep on stating.. after all. the gambling part of MP is going on ...

53  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium on ipad and iphone on: July 28, 2017, 12:50:37 AM
I think it has to do with the fact that MYCELIUM is ONLY for iPhone and Android..... I might be, that on iPad the wallet gets created differently.
I deleted my app on iPad, and tried to download it again. BUt I saw.. It is iPHONE ONLY...
this might be the problem.....
54  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium on ipad and iphone on: July 28, 2017, 12:45:38 AM
Hey TryNinha,
Yes.. my wallet on my iPad, created with the backup seed from my main wallet on iphone IS EMPTY.
I has another "Public Key" .. This is not expected behaviour???
55  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Mycelium on ipad and iphone on: July 27, 2017, 09:57:32 PM
Hi, in preparation for 1 of August I sent my fund from my MULTIBIT HD wallet to a new Mycelium wallet on my iphone. All OK.
For a test i loaded Mycelium on my iPad and entered the 12 seed words.. As I understood it, this would create the same wallet on my iPad as on my iPhone.
It created a wallet ... but the wallet on the iphone has another public Key and no funds.. whereas my iphone wallet (thank god hehe) received all my funds from MULTIBIT HD.

I understood that the passphrase will recover my wallet everywhere with all funds and transaktions???
Any suggestions?

As far as I know I have no idea what happened to those investor funds and that mysterious huge whale gamblers who had a huge winning streak. There was a separate thread that a user created and I can't find it anymore. And its not listed on that other Satoshidice thread either.

Would be nice to figure out how that issue was resolved.
hey, as far as I have followed up, I was one of the guys invested and complaining about the whale winning it all.
I got my money out, their support started working, they payed off the guy who lost 70btc (probalby due to his own fault, phishing) and everybody was happy.
I have not since then gone back to satoshidice and when I checked yesterday the rebranded to megadice.. yepp

As a bettor.. you have to trust because even if the hashes work out of each single bet you cannot check the house edge. Is it only X%? Or is it much more?
A casino can easily have a much bigger house edge and siphon out the gains through dummy players that take the earnings out into their own pocket.

No, as Andu tried to explain you are wrong here.

As a bettor if you know the chance of winning and the payout multiplier you can easily determine the house edge:

Multiply the percentage chance of winning by the payout multiplier and subtract the result from 100.

So if the chance of winning is 49.5% and the payout multiplier is 2 you get a house edge of 100-(49.5*2) = 100-99 = 1%.

If doesn't matter (to the bettor) whether the house has dummy players siphoning profits from the investors. That matters to the investors, but the players shouldn't care.

Understand it now?
Dooglus, yes... I understand what you are saying. But... I say... and I am not sure if I'm right. As a player, or bankroll, one cannot "check" the house edge. One does not know if the algorithm, if you would check large numbers really favors 1% for the bank. When you play the site might show 49.5% with a multiplyer of 2. But .. if you would play 10.000 times you would really only win 4.950 times on average... and not 4.300 times...or 4.200..or whatever..
So the provably fair thing is really only for the elementary bet... but the sites real winning chance, determined by the house edge.. is not visible unless you have the numbers.
Am I right or am I right? Haha... I know you run primedice and you might explain me...how anyone can check the statistics of an online casino...
thanks maiden

Sorry.. I slept over it and now I got it. IF the single bet is determined in its outcome before (controlable by getting the hash before you place your bet) then the casino must be fair since the outcome is boolean (true or false, win or loose) it is really only the payout rate which decides the house edge. If for a 2 times payout you only get 49,5% winning chance the house edge is 1%.
FAIR.. there are still other ways to cheat.. but not the single player... only the investors.
59  Economy / Gambling / Re: SatoshiDICE.com - The World's Most Popular Bitcoin Game on: February 09, 2017, 08:50:04 PM

[/quote]House edge is on the payout, 2x is 50% with 1% house edge you need 49.5% in order to earn 1%, so depending of what chance to play you should more or less easily see that something is not right.

Lol..... and..... in english perhaps??

hey Adaseb,

do you have prove that they "are a scam site"? Or is it just your way of speaking?

In my humble technical knowledge... I think really you have to trust the/any casino.
As an investor.. It is just too easy that they play "on their own". That means against the bankroll fixing the bets for a player which is themselves.

Thats why it is good to know that the owners are also invested in the bankroll.
