This phase of altcoin saturation I see being short lived ,I'm not endorsing this next point but I feel it's a direction we might be headed - different crypto coins will become location-centric as we live in a world of boarders a certain small number of crypto coins with very similar characteristics will be favoured based on where you live. Rather than a particular coins features .

As pointed out to me on the PPcoin forum it's better if a graphic designer handles this one, I look forward to seeing what ideas they have there must be a decent number of capable folk here on the forum if it's worth doing its worth doing right, there's any number of directions a re-design could take if indeed a redesign is required just thought i would throw a few ideas out there to get the ball rolling  . |

Yes it's a full vector image, I think it'll require a good few more thumbs up before sunny will be interested in it, if he does approve it then I'll release the vectors or if he wants any adjustments I'll make those first , I may add more detail on leaves etc. etc.

No need to change symbols, the official symbol means two 'P' connected by a bar, it's not 'IP', but two 'P's, but if you draw actual two P's it would look ugly. You can move the vertical bar 'I' to the right and inside 'P' though, if you think that would look more like two 'P's.
I'll do that tomorrow see how it looks , plus try and make it more golden looking ........ Don't suppose it should have an ocean coloured edge to it ?........ |

How about this for the lettering?  It's using the Khmer UI font. I can provide a vector if there's any interest. Could work ! If a few people like it , pm me the svg |

True it has a wooden look to it, should be gold coloured ..... Wood is a very Eco - sustainable material though . .......a more golden look might be better maybe the leaves could be gold rather than green ? More golden Just one P Will try that tomorrow |

I think after Litecoin , PPcoin should move to mt gox ahead of namecoin  |

Nice work Robotrebbellion , I really think nows the right time to totally nail the ppc logo Jimhsu : I like those I think the bottom be would suit , will use that If I may any see what reaction it gets  I'll post it in an hour or two

Well my thoughts were china is a fifth of the worlds population so it's could be a good move, I've given the thread a bump as this altcoin forum is moving at break neck speed. Anyone else have an opinion on the logo ,  ........ We could end up with PPcoin up in lights too !!!!!  |

Thanks for the feedback ........ahh well there deffinately maple leaves. There nearly 1.5billion Chinese so it might not be such a bad idea ...yes/no?? It wouldn't put me off PPcoin anyone else ?? |

the leaves (aka Eco) which sunny has used on his .org site recently are japanes maple leaves not sure how well that all nits together or whether the oriental-esk theme is any good.
