822  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 1 gram .999 fine silver "bitcoin" rounds *********type 2*********** on: January 27, 2013, 12:29:37 PM
I designed these but they where produced by Cmc mint, a couple of months ago I made contacted Cmc mint as a respected forum member wanted to take over the dyes and continue with production. It appears that they have changed owners since they were produced so I didn't get anywhere in talks with them regarding handing the dyes on and re-starting production so as I stands there's only going to be 2300 of both types in total. (I've got a couple but there not for sale I'm afraid  Grin

I'm mainly selling the real digital Bitcoins via BitconFridge.co.uk at the moment

There's a large 1oz copper bitcoin art round that I designed that I believe is still available from Aocs mint in the US

823  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Trading bots control the market on: January 26, 2013, 04:13:09 PM

824  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Trading bots control the market on: January 25, 2013, 06:34:49 PM
Thanks for the post tunafish , could bots cause a flash crash? So the price correction yesterday wasn't that just because 'a or the bot stopped, then when it kicked in again didn't the price start going back up ?

Does mt gox itself use a bot?
825  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BUY BITCOINS UK - AVAILABLE 24/7 - QUICK SAFE HASSLE FREE Only 2.5% fee!!! on: January 25, 2013, 10:35:54 AM
Always trading - running low on btc at the time so a little slow responding
826  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Trading bots control the market on: January 24, 2013, 04:45:07 PM
Really appreciate the posts, so looking at the recent trading data through mt gox doesn't strike anyone here as unusual, trading volume etc. etc.  ?  Or in other words mt gox is the most accurate barometer whereby a person selling off exchange would base there prices ?
827  Economy / Trading Discussion / Do Trading bots control the market on: January 24, 2013, 08:56:07 AM
A customer of mine considers the trading bots to be ultimately in control of the market able to manipulate the market up or down, even to zero. Any insight I could pass on ?
828  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So how on earth am I supposed to get bitcoins in the UK? on: January 24, 2013, 12:09:52 AM
Just noticed I got a mention above " mjb monetary metals - a bit clunky  Cheesy it's quite catchy as a tag line  Grin

I'm now at http://www.bitcoinfridge.co.uk/ - its possible if your quick making the bank transfer to have your btc sent within 5-10 mins, although it can take a little longer I handle each trade individually (clunky  Grin) so its no automated exchange but the fee is now just 2.5% . I've done a few hundred trades now with no issues to report .
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [BOUNTY] Graphic Designer for Terracoin Logo and Icon Set on: January 23, 2013, 10:49:51 PM

831  Economy / Service Discussion / If goldmoney offered an online Bitcoin wallet service ....... Good for Bitcoin ? on: January 22, 2013, 10:14:23 PM
Just thinking out loud, as online wallets are probably here to stay wouldn't somewhere such as goldmoney be a good fit to store your bitcoins if they offered such a service, only measured against other online wallet options of course.

ROBUST SECURITY MEASURES TO ENSURE YOUR METAL IS SAFE

When you are looking to store precious metals, you expect your storage partner to ensure that there are robust security measures in place.

At GoldMoney we have been setting industry standards for over 10 years to ensure the safety of your metals by providing:
High online security standards
Independent third party audits
Secure and insured storage
HIGH ONLINE SECURITY STANDARDS

Online security is more important now than ever before. GoldMoney provides exceptional security when you buy gold, silver, platinum and palladium and manage your Holding online. The protection of your assets is of the utmost importance to us. That’s why we provide you with the most advanced technology available to keep your assets safe.

SMS Transfer Confirmation
GoldMoney addresses the issue of protecting customer assets by enabling customers to link their mobile phones to their Holdings. This step allows customers to validate the payments, gold bar delivery requests and fund transfers going out of their Holding on their mobile phone, before completing the authorisation of the transaction online.

Each time you request delivery of a gold bar, or transfer funds from your Holding to your bank account, you will receive an SMS to your handset with a unique PIN code and a description of the transfer. Once you have reviewed the details of the transfer you then simply enter the unique PIN code into the GoldMoney website and the transfer is complete. Without the correct PIN code, the transfer will not be processed.

If you do not wish to use this additional security feature, the PIN code is sent to your email address.

Bank Account Locking
Your Holding will contain details of your bank account(s) so that you can easily transfer out the proceeds from the sale of your precious metals. You can ‘lock’ the bank accounts which are linked to your Holding so that no further bank account details can be added. This further protects you because even if someone manages to gain access to your Holding, they are unable to send funds anywhere but to the bank accounts you have previously assigned.

INDEPENDENT THIRD PARTY AUDITS

GoldMoney customers can rest assured that their metal is safe and accounted for, thanks to the periodic reports provided by external third parties. Find out more about our independent third party audits.

SECURE AND INSURED STORAGE

All of the precious metals owned by our customers are stored securely in Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland and the UK in specialised vaults owned and operated by VIA MAT, Brink’s, Rhenus and G4S. For more information about these companies, see our Partners page. All vaults insure the vault contents against risks such as theft so that your precious metals are protected.

CLEAR PROCEDURE IN CASE OF BANKRUPTCY

In the unlikely event that GoldMoney were to go out of business, standard Jersey bankruptcy procedures would be implemented. Assuming you hold an amount of metal at least equal to the standard gold, silver, platinum and/or palladium bar weight in GoldMoney, you will be able to take delivery of those bars. Additionally, you can take physical delivery of your gold in 100 gram and 1 kilo bars. The remaining metal would be sold and the cash proceeds would be transferred to you. Find out more in clause 16 (Winding-up or bankruptcy of GoldMoney) of our Customer Agreement.

Whenever a buy/sell form is sent please try to remain online to receive your quote which will be with you within 5-10mins, it's ideal if your ready and able to make the bank transfer immediately.

This is really helpful as it speeds the whole process up providing you with your bitcoins without delay.

Hi Bowen151

Sorry if there was a delay, I only received the quote request at 8:32am, I had the quote out by 8:39am. There must have been a blockage in the pipes somewhere  Grin
837  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BUY BITCOINS UK - AVAILABLE 24/7 - QUICK SAFE HASSLE FREE Only 2.5% fee!!! on: January 12, 2013, 10:33:16 AM
Leaving Feedback anywhere is optional  Grin it's good promotion for me and also useful for fresh buyers or sellers.

I just want to provide a safe place to buy and sell btc, ideally there should be a variety of places to exchange btc here in the uk.

I'm happy just dealing with each trade individually no plans to expand and automate.
838  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BUY BITCOINS UK - AVAILABLE 24/7 - QUICK SAFE HASSLE FREE Only 2.5% fee!!! on: January 10, 2013, 02:06:33 PM
Really appreciate the feedback !!

I'm directing customers to leave feedback on my site once they have bought and sold, which tends to make the thread look a bit quiet   Grin

I should probably ask customers to leave feedback here, it's probably more useful here than on the site.
