Litecoin - Many in the Bitcoin realm fear it as the robin hood of crypto coins, Litecoin though is the perfect option if you don't want fiat and also don't want to be all in btc. Single crypto coin exchanges will become less popular than multi coin exchanges.

Payment vehicle rather than speculative instrument this I believe is what btc should be.   

I do find it quite bullish that the OP has many friends that express an interest in Litecoin.

 I would bare in mind that all crypto currency's are in there infancy. I don't feel any such need to defend Bitcoin over other alt coins as for price it's not the absolute deffinition of success, I found Bitcoin just as useful as a payment vehicle at $2 as it is now.

Buying a few bitcoins could be a good idea, buying Litecoin could also be a good idea. Getting too heavily into any crypto coin financially speaking whereby it's causing undue stress and worry that another altcoin could steal that money from you has all the hallmarks of being in too deep it's advisable to step back a little.

I thought it was odd when I saw the vids. On devda.ch of the printed bike etc. I hadn't noticed in the thread any 3d print related projects thought it was coincidence as its something I had been giving a lot of thought.

Could someone throw down a brief overview of how they view devcoin at this point, whether it's achieving it's original goals as intended upon its creation.

All good, yes the devcoin wallet option is now in the User menu above the my account tab, so this wallet will suffice to collect the generation shares that a vicurex wallet isn't able to ?

Is there a reason why the devcoin wallet isn't just a simple download-install-sync ?

Can anyone detail how to get the devcoin wallet on windows vista, why isn't there just a click and install version ?

I've had just the same issue with btc-e, today seems ok but for two days previous it was impossible to get on the site the odd time the site loaded as soon as I tried logging in the site would crash.

Once you sign in to vircurex.com it works very well worth a look 

It still seems odd to me why satoshi wouldn't still have a hand in steering Bitcoin through these issues.

Think there's already a yellow devcoin logo out there , thought I would throw this in the mix anyway. Went for opensource logo colours don't know how relevant that is.

I will include svg and png transparencys in different sizes If needed.
