When I was first aware of XMR before it was even listed on Polo (or was called Monero), one of the people who got me into it along with noticing Aminorex and Risto's enthusiasm, was KFR.
Anyone know what happened? Last post on KFR's profile here was 2015?
It's a shame to see early adopters not be here to see the ATH - I think KFR had it from OTC sales before Poloniex listed it.
KFR was active on https://cryptocrypt.net (Goat's forum) until the tumbleweed set in - I think the site is down for good now Down, but not out. When Joesmoe gets back from Burning Man, he'll fix it. Don't wanna bother him now.

ATH will be tested within a couple of days minutes I think, with a lot of little resistance of course ....
FTFY LOL I began to make the same reply, but deleted it. incredible! I think the ath was actually .01111.

I think it came out "Mondeo" because, with no direct translation, they had to phoneticize the word Monero. Then of course the phoneticized rendering had to be rendered phonetically yet again, back into "English." Kind of the way "pocket monsters" became Pokemon. This is the perfect opportunity to create a jokey Mondeo meme. China ruv Mondeo! Mondeo to moon!

Do you think pump is over?
Fool. It's not a pump. the train has left. And I'm one of the fools left at the station. It looks like you still have time to meet us at the next station if you take a taxi. Unfortunately taxis are much more expensive than trains but it will still get you there. Did I take the analogies too far? In Ukraine, the trains are cheap and slow. Bus tickets here cost more than train tickets and the buses move faster. So a bus metaphor works, and ties in beautifully with other great bus methaphors, like "Don't miss the bus" and "You're either on the bus or off the bus." All these bus sayings are à propos. Okay, so it's actually "Don't miss the boat," but a guy's allowed a little poetic license And by the way, WE'RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER BOAT

I'm curious how a currency like XMR is allowed to trade on Polo. How can they comply with KYC and AML given the fundamentals of XMR?
Monero is optionally transparent. Kind of like paper dollars. I can tell the IRS how many dollars Ignatz gave me for that flugelhorn. Same with monero.

Thanks everybody for the concern you've shown. The deposit has been credited to my account.

Last time offering the Hungary node before I let it die.
It's only $4 a month.
I'm more than willing to pay the $4 a month, but how much computer expertise is required? I can just barely do simple command line stuff.

That was me. I just have to wait for Poloniex to fix their xmr wallet. I wanted to have proof they got the coins, but it's pointless. The deposit shows on my polo deposit history as unconfirmed, so they already acknowledged the deposit, in a way. But they are taking forever to credit it to my account. They froze their xmr wallet just a few minutes after I made the deposit, so my coins are stuck nowhere. Nine and a half hours. They still haven't responded to my ticket.

So I need the tx key of your own (my) transaction, the receiving address, and the transaction hash.
I'm using mymonero.com I can retrieve my spend key there. Is that what you mean by "tx key"? Mymonero.com also shows a transaction ID. Is that what you meant by "transaction hash"? Do not put your spend key on that tool! The private tx key is denoted as r in the CryptoNote whitepaper and allows you to prove that you send a payment to a certain address. Unfortunately, MyMonero currently has no option to retrieve the private tx key. Thus, you would have to use simplewallet to retrieve the private tx key. The transaction ID is indeed the transaction hash. OK

How verified are you on there? They'll freeze your account if you deposit or withdraw a large amount without verification.
They froze all xmr withdrawls and deposits. It just happens that they froze them right after I made a deposit, and before my deposit was finished verifying. It happened when I had 7 confirmations, and polo waits for 15.

I saw that, yes. Basically, "we ain't sayin." I want to know wtf is going on. I sent a metric boatload of xmr, has a whole bunch of zeros. Wouldn't you try to get answers?

So what's next? Is this grow for real? It's too big (in my eyes) for a pump, people continue to buy, there were some good news too... Or is this the real start for a grow to a (deserved?) 2-3 figures price? And another thing. I have the viewkey, tx id etc. How do I look at the transaction on the blockchain? I don't have simplewallet.
Get a light wallet that connects to a public node, it may work. Is there a way to use a blockexplorer? I am traveling with a mobile device in Ukraine, using McDonalds wifi. Nothing I can really do.

Polo has been screwed up for many hours. XMR deposits disabled. I made a deposit before polo disabled them, polo shows it stuck at 7 confirmations. It must have dozens by now. When I went on the trollbox to ask for help, one of the mods threatened to ban me. And yes, of course I opened a ticket.

I made an xmr deposit to poloniex about 6 hours ago. They still list it as pending at 7 confirmations, haven't credited it to my account. Now xmr deposits are disabled at polo. What's going on? Are monero transactions going through, or is this just a polo problem?
