^ You just posted the exact same in the Speculation thread.
Please keep the price speculation there so Monero itself can be discussed here.

- You can figure out what will happen, not when /Warren Buffett
- Pay any Bitcoin address privately with a little help of Monero.

I deposited  more than 10K xmr on mymonero last year, I forgot the last time I logged-in my wallet, it's been a long time.
but today,  I logged-in and found all xmr was stolen on yesterday,
I have no idea how the hacker steal my xmr...
Any advice for me?

So sorry for you, hope you can buy a few more XMR and get back in bro!

Please tell the monero marketing team (arielbit, icebreaker, etc.) to stop trolling DASH so i don't have to come here again. They troll there everyday all day. If they continue i will be back until they stop. Thanks

Wow Monero really seems to have taken off seemingly out of nowhere, I guess it always pays to have  good amount of all the major alt coins in case of a price increase like this, its just so hard to predict with no physical entity or government behind it along with very limited news outlets there's really no warning or signals that the price will go up or down except I guess if your good at chart analysis but even then its really a different ball game with alt coins as opposed to equities

Two things.

1.  You tell iCEBREAKER and arielwhoever whatever you like.  I don't see why anyone here needs to do that for you.  They don't belong to monero. They don't officially represent monero.

2.

I suggest that we all refrain from prompting anyone to act in a prima facie unlawful manner.  If one errs in such a way, it is reasonable to delete comments to correct the record, or to amend the comments with a clarification.

Yea, you are right. A clarification is in order.

Government is evil and resisting it is virtue.

Clear enough? Cheesy

It may take up to one day to see the coins transfer successfully. How long have you been waiting?. Wait atleast 24 hours. I once got it after 8 hours.

Why is that?

Blocktime is 2 minutes. Red flag Bter.

You mean to say when I use the light wallet I would also have to open simplewallet.exe in the console at the same time? I do not get it. I thought you only open the light wallet and do everything from there.

Lightwallet uses simplewallet behind the scenes, but you shouldn't have to do anything special to get it to save. After it completes the sync it will issue a save command every few minutes, or there is a button to save it on the wallet tab. Initially it says "Not saved Sad" in red, but should change to something green when it successfully stores the wallet.

Yes it said that it already saved and the color changed to green. So I closed the wallet and the reopened it then it started to sync again from 0. I was using Windows 64bit. Maybe it needs a little tweaking. Anyway I will try again using Linux later tonight if I have the time.

Weird. I've tested it more on Windows than Linux for sure. Are you launching from a different directory or something from command line or something?

XMR instead of ETH become No.1 in Poloniex. Shocked

Bullish is still the main Monero trading trend now. Monero will be the No.1 for a long time. It's hard for Etherium to recover now.

Great prediction from Isolani yesterday. I followed and got good profit. What should we do now, continue long or short?

There's been a non-stop flow of news for why Monero has been increasing in price for the last week.

I mean.. it's been covered on the Nasdaq website.

XMR just blew threw long-term resistance at 0.01 like it wasn't even there.

That isn't speculation, that's fact.

EDIT: All time high, also a fact.   Cool

Come over to XC coin, we've got a great community with lots of exciting developments in the works!
How does the XC anonymity feature trump the one of XMR?
I think I can safely say that XC holds a lot of "promise".

I'm just a bit concerned that this is a brand of margarine.

Good analogy!

XMR is the sweet, creamy butter of anon, made by happy organic cows.  XC is Promise margarine, a brand of fake butter.  And Cloak is Country Crock, full of nasty hydrogenated stuff.  Like all cheap imitations, they're best avoided.

Speaking of marketing, who else thinks looking into this might be a good idea (to reach the normal people who find this forum gives them hives)?

http://www.deepdotweb.com/advertise-on-deepdotweb/

It's probably much less expensive than a Monero booth at TC Disrupt!   Cool

Never mind, darknet marketing took care of itself.  No paid adverts needed, just great, innovative, battle-tested crypto and word-of-mouth.   Cheesy

Now we have the budget to send fluffy to TCDisrupt in Sept!   Tongue

Which darkmarket has started to accept XMR?

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied
