561  Economy / Reputation / Re: Am I Quickseller? on: April 08, 2016, 02:12:59 PM

So, on the one hand he creates a thread demanding I be removed from DT because . . .Dooglus.

Dude, you are not on DT, wrong account??

it's an unquoted quote.

looks like this kind of ad hominem bullshit that is very common on bitcointalk nowadays gets people enraged more easily than a simple accusation.
562  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Relex, Firedude, Snoopy1 and bitcoin1900 are all alts of confirmation120. on: April 07, 2016, 09:50:19 PM
then why didn't you leave a neutral like you did to mr.coinstrader?
Confusing me with mexxer-2, are we?

oops. I mean Laosai.

Because I was told in confidence.

ah, I see.
563  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Relex, Firedude, Snoopy1 and bitcoin1900 are all alts of confirmation120. on: April 07, 2016, 09:47:28 PM
So was Patatas according to my information.
I know who currently holds the account (won't disclose it though, as being told in confidence, maybe the user wants to do that himself),
and I'd say the chances are close to 0 that person is connected to confirmation120.

then why didn't you leave a neutral like you did to mr.coinstrader?

but no matter. Patatas and the others can prove that the account was sold after the scam by providing a PM proof of the trade of their accounts.
564  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Relex, Firedude, Snoopy1 and bitcoin1900 are all alts of confirmation120. on: April 07, 2016, 09:13:42 PM
I should've searched more thoroughly...  Undecided

Patatas,

What ? lol You do suck at finding Alt's boy.Do your homework more carefully. There are other constraints you should know about the forum.
1.The accounts could be sold at the forum .
2.New addresses could be staked.
3.Random guesses don't mean shit.

oh yeah? well most of those addresses were used around the same time. and it's not a guess because I posted proof.
note that I said "might" because it seems like mr.coinstrader and Laosai was sold.
565  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Relex, Firedude, Snoopy1 and bitcoin1900 are all alts of confirmation120. on: April 07, 2016, 09:01:36 PM

Patatas, Laosai, Shibashi Dogemoto, phibay, mr.coinstrader and hardtime might be alts of confirmation120.

Shield (bless the guy) have posted partial proof for Patatas, Laosai, Shibashi Dogemoto, phibay, and mr.coinstrader so let me quote his post.

according to mexxer-2 the owner also admitted it.
Added even the owner admits that they are indeed his alts.

566  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Small Loans on: April 07, 2016, 04:08:06 PM
I commend your willingness to help other people. but be aware that there are many scammers on this forum that will scam for very small amount when they get a chance.
always ask for a collateral unless you can be sure that the borrower will not scam.
567  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your biggest loss gambling? on: April 06, 2016, 11:43:52 PM
my biggest loss on a single bet was 0.6BTC IIRC. made that from 0.1 on my very first deposit on primedice. I actually made 0.8BTC but I lost around 0.2BTC on trivia quiz tipping and a series of 0.01 PvP with hui.
568  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Openbazaar question on: April 06, 2016, 11:12:47 PM
Are they even up yet? I tried their website that was posted on another thread but it was idle and not going anywhere. When does it officially open to the public to start using their service?

Didn't tried it yet but if you visit their website now you will find a download button.
same wih you, just open the blogand site, but just found download button,i still dont get what is that exactly, maybe somebody can tell us how to join open bazaar and be part of that free market.

download, install, open OpenBazaar. there, you just created an account.

and not sure why people are complaining about decentralized escrow system of a decentralized market that uses decentralized money.  Roll Eyes

570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's Birthday is 5th April on: April 05, 2016, 10:39:00 PM
dude, did you even read my post? I said the name doesn't really matter.

This is what my post was in reference to.It would be illogical of me to post  without having a read. Not sure which part of your brain gave you that idea, the place where I come from,we don't believe in blind posting.

we don't know for sure that jesus really was born on 25 december

and you want a real life implications? find some place where people adopt children (forgot what they're called). some of the children were abandoned as infants and never knew their real birthday.

also asking "Are you even sure his real name is Satoshi ?" after I said it doesn't matter is blind enough.  Roll Eyes
571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's Birthday is 5th April on: April 05, 2016, 10:27:14 PM
why not? we don't know for sure that jesus really was born on 25 december but we celebrate it anyway. and the name doesn't really matter because we're celebrating the birthday of the entity who created bitcoin that happens to use the name satoshi.

Are you even sure his real name is Satoshi ? Please use valid real life implications, born of Jesus is as subjective as existence of Jesus but we believe in it either way.Jesus is deity having mythological theories which explain the relevance of life and earth. If you have a better explanation,I'll believe you. Same goes for Satoshi.

dude, did you even read my post? I said the name doesn't really matter.

572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's Birthday is 5th April on: April 05, 2016, 10:21:30 PM
I wonder how unrealistic this post is,celebrating birthday of someone who is unknown or never ever has born by that name. The article mentions it explicitly that the creator used this as day on one of the online accounts, may not be true.

why not? we don't know for sure that jesus really was born on 25 december but we celebrate it anyway. and the name doesn't really matter because we're celebrating the birthday of the entity who created bitcoin that happens to use the name satoshi.

so. happy birthday, satoshi.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar is here! on: April 05, 2016, 01:57:57 AM
All right, time to set up a shop in there. How does Open-Bazaar profit there anyway?

I have no idea how they profit. some said that they're going to open up some services on top of OpenBazaar, but I'm not seeing anything like that.

And does my store go offline when I close open-bazaar?

yeah. looks like it.
574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / OpenBazaar is here! on: April 05, 2016, 12:27:48 AM

my OB ID is 92df2dbfcf87416a37baf06ba7164fecb3534c0f .
I'm seeing some familiar names from bitcointalk there. don't know if they're real however.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you switch to a new technology, if it offers better features than Bitcoin? on: April 04, 2016, 06:25:34 PM
Well, they will not develop something trustless, but they can make it decentralized. { Implementing nodes for example on all computers within all their bank branches } The only difference will be,

that it will be permissioned and private and they will control the development
and what changes will be pushed on these clients/nodes. There are many Alt coins with some better features than

Bitcoin, but they do not have the main advantage... which in my opinion is the network affect and also the backing of a strong and secure network {hashing power provided by miners} that they do

not have to pay for. { In Bitcoin, miners give their resources and they get rewarded by the protocol } So for the users, this network is virtually free... but banks will have to pay for that resources.

I think you're misunderstanding what a full decentralization is. what you described are still centralized because it have a central authority (the banks). they can still change anything without consensus.
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you switch to a new technology, if it offers better features than Bitcoin? on: April 04, 2016, 05:27:15 PM
We know Bitcoin was the first and is the most trusted Crypto currency out there at the moment and that it is backed by a huge network with tons of hashing power and good security, BUT would you

forget about all of that and go for a alternative technology with better features, once it is developed by all these banks? {Permissioned, private ledgers} They will obviously just copy the concept and

add some bells n whistles and then improve on scalability.

The governments will obviously make things easier for them and make it more difficult for Bitcoin, and then Bitcoin will start to lose ground and things will change in their favor. How do we stop that

what could the governments and banks create that have better features than what bitcoin already provided? no government would spend a penny to make anything that is trustless and decentralized.
577  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Top 3 Crowdfunding sites accepting bitcoin on: April 04, 2016, 12:47:55 PM
My girlfriend is trying to raise some money to record a classical music CD with orchestra and I was wondering if there was a good site that accepts bitcoin or perhaps other cryptos. Any guidance will be much appreciated. Thanks

coinfunder and bitcoinstarter are two good crowdfunding sites that I've seen. start with them.
of course good crowdfunding sites doesn't mean that you'll always get donations. and like all crowdfunding sites there are scammers crawling around.
578  Other / Meta / Re: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ on: April 03, 2016, 06:17:16 PM
PS: If you're going to go through my entire thread and delete all my "bumps" that I did not delete, then do it for all the other threads too. I don't care if they're deleted or not, but it pisses me off that these other threads have hundreds of "bumps", while I rarely bump my thread yet it was given more attention than these other people who obviously spam there thread with unneeded replies and bumps. Obviously someone targeted my thread out of competiton, smart move but I can smell the weakness.

if you reported them I'm sure they'll get deleted. not being an asshole or anything but you being mad for mere bumps are a show of weakness. again, not trying to be an asshole.
579  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: April 03, 2016, 05:37:21 PM
If you make a shit tonne of alt accounts and then sign up for a lot of signature campaigns and then spam everyday of your life. Very easy.

Thats just a bad plan, because you would have to wait for like a year for your account be be even worth something, and then you would get banned on all your accounts
for spamming. You may want to change your thinking.
Bitcoin was not intended as something that everyone would just milk dry, but rather use it and support the project.

unfortunately many of the new bitcoiners seem to think that way. not only by signature campaigns, but also with faucets, ponzi schemes, gambling, etc.
what they don't understand is that bitcoin is just like money. if you want to get it you'll have to work for it. try to get a shortcut and you'll get burned sooner or later.

that said, earning a living with only bitcoin and having a good life would be difficult unless you already have a business or a mining farm.
580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: uᴉoɔʇᴉq really is going down the toilet. on: April 01, 2016, 04:25:02 PM
Well you paid only 0.0001 fees that was very much low for a 4BTC transaction.

no please. large amount of BTCitcoin doesn't mean you have to pay higher fees. if anything that will make the transaction have higher priority because of the high amount of btc transferred.
it's the large size of the transaction that makes it require higher fees.

what's a MB wallet?

MultiBit Desktop Wallet

ah I see.
