If I send 1BTC to theymos from a known—sorry, suspected address of mine without saying anything and create a new account announcing it, will I become theymos' boss?
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Final balance in blockchain not in wallet on: August 05, 2016, 10:54:18 AM
There's 0.10176137 BTC in that address, if the address is from your Xapo wallet and it should display such balance and it does not than there's some problem with your Xapo wallet and you need to contact their support.

That is incorrect.  A service have no obligation to use bitcoins from the deposit address when a user sends funds to another wallet.  So a service can use different address to send the bitcoins.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Final balance in blockchain not in wallet on: August 05, 2016, 10:49:10 AM
Well, you don't own the address.  Your Xapo account balace doesn't reflect the balance of your address, it shows the balance of your account itself.  When you send bitcoins out, xapo doesn't always use the bitcoins in that address.

If you have sent something and it didn't show up in your account, contact their support.

Like that?  Looks like you can't pick/ignore exchanges manually though.
365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC-E HACKED on: August 04, 2016, 10:19:54 PM
I received an email instantly.  You sure it's not your account that got hacked?

Change your subject title, looking very mis-leading.

Yes, please.
366  Other / Meta / Re: Hey MOD why are my postings deleted ?!? on: July 29, 2016, 06:12:44 PM
It's obvious that you're advertising your pool on every single post.

nope this are all answers on questions ....
Not one single spam ad. posting

Quote
22. Advertising (this includes mining pools, gambling services, exchanges, shops, etc.) in others threads' is no longer allowed, including, but not limited to, in altcoin announcement threads.

You're mentioning your own (not anyone else's) pool on every opportunity even if no one asked for it (1st and 4th post).  That is advertising.

It's obvious that you're advertising your pool on every single post.
368  Other / Meta / Re: Hi I'm wondering why I can't post pictures on: July 29, 2016, 05:57:37 PM
ic, so what requirements is it to reach Jr. Member?

You get to Jr. Member by reaching 30 Activity (there's another sticky about it here).  And this thread explains how activity works.
369  Other / Meta / Re: Hi I'm wondering why I can't post pictures on: July 29, 2016, 05:32:16 PM
It's because you're a newbie. You'll be able to do it once you reach Jr. Member rank.

Quote from the Unofficial forum rules sticky:
Quote
Q: I can't post / embed an image and I'm a newbie. Why?
A: Embedded images have been disabled for newbies due to abuse. You'll be able to post images when you become Jr. Member. See more: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1172918.0.
370  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Got scammed by user Almagro ~ A warning to others in dealing with this low life on: July 28, 2016, 07:12:18 PM
So who do I PM the private messages?

Eh?  For what?  What I was saying is you just need to edit the OP with proofs and the like. See this thread of example.
371  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Got scammed by user Almagro ~ A warning to others in dealing with this low life on: July 28, 2016, 06:44:33 PM
Giving people tips to avoid getting scammed is well and good, but since this is also a scam accusation thread you'll have to give us some proof of this scam.  Preferably using the proper scam accusation format.  And the right section is there.
372  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How to import privatekey in electrum desktop wallet? on: July 28, 2016, 04:02:27 PM
Create a new wallet and choose "Restore a wallet or import keys" then enter any private keys you wish to import.  That's the only way you can import private keys in electrum afaik.  Better to just sweep so you can still make use of the standard deterministic wallet.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: About 24 Hours and no confirmation with 0.0001 fee on: July 28, 2016, 02:46:26 PM
hi thanks for your helpful reply, could you explainme a little bit more about the broadcasting

Just go to coinb.in/#broadcast and enter the raw transaction that ranochigo posted.  It will let nodes add your transaction back if they already dropped it.
374  Other / Meta / Re: posts per day on: July 28, 2016, 02:23:08 PM
Hilarius was posting 400 a day back then for his primedice signature campaign, when he is still a member rank and he was not banned. Look at him now he is a Global Moderator.

You got something to back this up or are you just over exaggerating things?  I know he did post around 100 post a day few times.
375  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: July 28, 2016, 02:08:16 PM
Hey guys not sure if this is the proper place to post this question but I am having an issue my activity on the threads is stuck on 140 and I have over 160 posts and it hasn't changed in weeks.

Any ideas?

You can only get 14 activity for every activity period (2 weekly periods) that you posted in.  As you've only posted in 10 activity periods, your max activity is stuck at 140 until you post in another activity period.  This thing have been explained countless of times.

You can find the list of activity period here.
376  Other / Meta / Re: posts per day on: July 28, 2016, 11:49:37 AM
Besides the initial 360 seconds wait per action that will be reduced as your account ranks up, there's none.  It shouldn't be noticeable for full members but if you have an alt with a same IP and is still a newbie you'll need to wait few minutes after posting with any account that uses the same IP before you can post with the newbie account.

Looking at the trust and the complains before the owner locked the thread, I'd say there's a high chance you'll get screwed sooner or later.

EDIT:
Just want people to see this post (as warning) after seeing the post below.  No offense OP.  Wink
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you be happy repeatedly flipping a coin with an opponent to gamble? on: July 24, 2016, 06:52:47 PM
 Huh Huh Huh
I don't understand.  It's obviously no different than rolling dice.  Well, except the tiny house edge.
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a Bitcoin wallet on: July 24, 2016, 04:41:25 PM
Electrum doesn't need you to create an account.  It's one of the most secure SPV wallets too.
Also there's mycelium but I don't know if you need to create an account to use it.
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever Found a Private Key with Bitcoin in it? on: July 24, 2016, 04:25:51 PM
Yes, got a number private keys sometime ago with bitcoins in it (somebody just posted them publicly).  The thing is I can't get the bitcoins because of too many small inputs or something.  It was too complicated for me so I gave up.  They're gone after a day.

But if by 'random' you mean random generation then no.  I don't think I'll ever generate a private key with bitcoins in it in my lifetime.
