62  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: August 14, 2012, 12:27:35 AM
This move up is very interestingly controlled.

No crazy price swings...just slow grinding.
Switch the chart to H4 on http://bitcoin.clarkmoody.com/.
Now look at the orange and blue line in the chart. Almost a perfect straight line since 10+ days. This is not some random buying.
63  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bryan Micon tries to infect with a backdoor at his web site on: August 13, 2012, 11:03:03 PM
Someone mentioned that there is a Bryan Micon poker system.
So I googled and clicked on www.micon secrets.com  (remove the space)
As soon as it opened, his website tried to install some backdoor (HTML/Rce.Gen3) on my system.
Luckily for me, aviria catched it. Avira description about the backdoor: http://www.avira.com/en/support-threats-description/tid/7512/tlang/en
I confronted Micon with this and, of course, he just claims that it is not his site.
Maybe I am wrong but I don't think that there are that many Bryan Micons out there that try to sell some poker system.

I was paid in 2007 to make a training video for a guy to market, he did / I did and he still does.

I do not operate that site, but did accept payment and did list everything I did to beat poker in 2007.  (obviously thinking in the game has drastically changed) but that system is still sold on that site by a guy that paid me to hear my thoughts on poker.

you can check the domain / IP of the host / it's not on any of my servers.

thanks for your interest in Bryan Micon.
So it is "only" your accomplice, that is trying to infect the computers of innocent users?
Someone should inform the responsible authority about this.

that's a douchebag statement. Creating content for someone does not make them your "accomplice".
Of course not, hence the name www.miconsecrets.com Roll Eyes
But I admit that it is possible that Micon is just too stupid to understand that helping someone to setup a site that installs some trojan is a bad thing to do. See, trojans are no ponzi, so I guess it is okay for him.
So he is either a complete douchebag or a criminal, most probably both.
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: $12!!!!!! on: August 13, 2012, 10:21:22 PM

Totally, he's using all those coins to buy bitcoins.............

nope, to sell at peak and by them back at a cheaper price.

OMG, that's so clever, we should all do that  Grin
All? Good luck convincing Adam Cool

While accusing others, this Micon guy is trying to install a backdoor from his web site. He is most probably a criminal.

FYI, I really hate scammers that try to infect my system, so I added this:

I just navigated to http://www.miconsecrets.com and the "me-con" man struck again.
His website tried to install some backdoor (HTML/Rce.Gen3) on my system.
I think this should be posted on the scam section of the forum. Can somebody else please confirm?

not my site.
Sure, it must be some other Bryan Micon, because there is a Bryan Micon on every block that tries to sell some poker system.

I just couldnt resist posting this gem of a thread, the ustream of his 'winning slot' strategy was removed but have fun looking at the ROFLMAO clip about "leave bryan micon alone" parody, priceless.
...

It just means he knows his scams!

It's like how "cheaters" are suspicious that their spouses/whatever are cheating, based on little or no evidence.
+1
Because scamming is so natural to them, they see scams everywhere.
Maybe it is "me-con" instead of "micon"?

http://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/showthread.php?796-Top-10-Reasons-Why-Bryan-Micon-is-Piece-of-Shit-Scumbag

and he is also now without poker money which he never had since he was supported by a financial backer.

Another bit of gem, this is how Bryan handles his sales, does this look like anyone even remotely decent?

If sealswithclubs want to attract current poker players to bitcoinpoker they sure as shit need to get a different person to attract them, Bryan Micon is not respected at all.

Tell me when to stop Bryan, I have 100+ more article involving you with scams over the last 6years, when I am done you would be running to your nearest pharmacy.

All these assaults on other businesses seem to be your number one tactic through the years but there is one problem here, You are the only one with a long running conartist/scamartist track record and funny enough there is some huge scams that you pulled that if someone even bothered they could properly sue you for damages or even get you locked up.
Interesting to see, that this Micon on pokerfraudalert fits our Micon precisely.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin network hashrate PetaFLOPS 195.66 vs Worlds supercomp 16.32 petaflops/s on: August 12, 2012, 05:54:07 PM
Seems like we are wasting a lot of computer cycles just to stitch blocks together Sad We should focus on solving world peace.

By wrestling control of the monetary system out of the hands of central planners you effectively strip away their ability to tax. No taxes means no funding for endless wars. Sounds like a great way to bring about world peace to me. Smiley

Taxes, what do you need it for when you can print money?

taxes?  oh yes, they need it, they want it, and they're coming for it.
Actually that would be an interesting concept. If the IRS would not collect any tax, but, based on some estimations about the overall economy size, would just "print" the tax money. This way everyone would "pay" the same percentage as a result of the implicit currency devaluation.

Thanks to MtGox for this action. Mark is truly a friend of Bitcoin. We dodged a bullet there thanks to him.

LOL, Adam are you now really hoping that pirate will crash the price for you, so that you can buy back below your low selling price?
76  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: August 10, 2012, 04:07:29 PM
It's interesting that it doesn't seem like anyone wants to sell even for 11.5 $  - I am not taking the chance on selling  Smiley
Someone should notify adam, he likes to sell low Cheesy
77  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: IS MINING REALLY WORTH IT on: August 10, 2012, 11:51:49 AM
LETS TALK ABOUT IF BITCOIN MINING IS REALLY WORTH THE COST OF ALL THE COMPONENTS AND HARDWARE
Once you switch off CAPS LOCK, using the first row of your keyboard results in digits instead of some weird symbols, and voila, you can now calculate this on your own! Grin
78  Economy / Lending / Re: Bryan Micon's List of BTC Ponzi Schemes that should not be listed as "Lending" on: August 10, 2012, 11:41:45 AM
For anyone looking for an explanation of some of this stuff, look at "Chasing Madoff" - Bernie's scheme was probably the most successful financial fraud of all time, and it had a very similar structure with the feeder funds and such.
The most successful financial fraud of all time is still going on - it is called USD
79  Economy / Speculation / Interesting Observation on: August 10, 2012, 08:27:51 AM
During the recent MtGox glitch an interesting observation could be made:
The buyers buy at any price, it is the sellers that are trying to bring the price down.
As all the low asks vanished, one would have expected that there is no more buying, because of the high price. But instead the buying continued regardless of price. Later the price was only brought down by sellers making huge dumps instead of cautious selling.
So the question that arises is what is the incentive for sellers to sell at some lower price?
Why is the Bitcoin world inverse to the real one, where buyers try to keep the prices low and sellers try to keep them high?
80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What sites exist to check if an address is involved in reported activity? on: August 09, 2012, 11:35:12 PM

So the question then is: do you think federal reserve notes (as an example because our European equivalent is just the same) are fungible? Because if Bitcoins aren't the same is true for the bills in your wallet. Even more so as they are split in portions which are predetermined by a central issuer and numbered to be uniquely identifiable.

I think the answer here is that it is a matter of degrees. How fungible is something?

Sorry, but here you are flat out wrong. Greenbacks or euros are *far* more fungible
than bitcoin. The reason is simple: if I give you a euro, only two persons ever know
about that: you and me.

If I send you a bitcoin, the whole word is immediately informed that the transaction
took place, and the transaction is for ever recorded in the great immutable, shared
bitcoin ledger in the cloud, which is available to all for all times for consultation.

Use something like the send anonymous feature at blockchain.info, where you are guaranteed that all of the coins received are not from you. Now how do you find this transaction in the public block chain?
And quite similar to the cash example above, only a few selected know about this. Sounds as anonymous and fungible as cash to me.
