1101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: so whats happening with litecoin? on: September 17, 2013, 04:16:49 AM

There you go again, getting hung up on what a coin is called.  At least this time you didn't go on and on about goldcoin.

What's wrong with the name Goldcoin?

To me it seems like the ultimate name for a coin.

Thoughts?

The password was the same as my....

There in lies the problem.

It doesn't matter if it was a 24 character alpha/numeric/symbol mixed password if you use at two places.

1103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NOTICE] mcxNOW had a 3rd party leaked database run against the login system on: September 16, 2013, 02:32:31 PM
All Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt aside.  I still feel safer with my coins on mcxNOW than a couple of other exchanges.

Let me ask you this: Do you know the true identity of RS?  In case he decides to close up shop and run with your coins?

BTC-e operates the same way....with anonymity.

Perhaps RS can prove me wrong and reveal his personal identity to instill trust that he could be held responsible if he ever decided to close his exchange and run with user deposits?

I'm sorry, but I have read through the old coinhunter drama..  doesn't phase me a bit.    I'm new to the community and have watched rs talk in chat for months now.  I don't believe that's going to happen, nor is it the reason for this thread.  You guys should quit trolling so damn hard.  The guy doesn't wanna tell you who he is.  Get over it.

I'm sorry but you could not have possibly gotten "caught up" on reading that fast. You can't just read his posts you have to read them in context to the rest of the community at that time.

Nice try to make it seem like you're all caught up.

Your account was created on April 27, 2013. Hardly enough time to know what went on over 2 years.

Maybe he should look at the time stamp of the genesis block of Solidcoin 2 to see the maturity level of the guy. Remember, this was a coin that was ready for the collapse of bitcoin.

I guess we can see what BFL has been doing with all those "pre-orders" the past three months.

Again like I said before. I have never been banned over there.

Actually I have never been banned anywhere except for Realsolid's SC Forum back in the day.

They seem to be pretty fair guys.

There's a difference between talking shit to a person and slandering a business with lies and accusations. One is ok, one is not. I had more respect for you than that, I thought you would be able to differentiate the difference between a business man and an idiot, but I guess I gave you too much credit...

I think muddafudda forgot the sarcasm tags...he's obviously joking.

The site is not about fee shares.  You can take it or leave the fee shares.   It is an amazing exchange, come check it out and see for yourself.

No one has ever lost a single coin or had their account locked, or couldn't withdraw their coins at mcxnow.

I don't think anyone was withdrawing coins when his "un-DDoSable" exchange was down due to, well, being DDoS'ed a couple of weeks ago.

One of the things you need to do is set a filter that will not allow coin names to be reused.

I was able to create Litecoin, Gamecoin, Worldcoin etc with a few simple inputs and clicks. Releasing these coins will cause wallets of the originals to be overwritten.

Just something to think about.

The Chatbox feature add was cool too.

Thanks,

Sorry I had to laugh at the giant red arrow.

We're looking into the price discrepancy, we pull pricing from many different APIs and sources, we'll get it fixed. Thanks for pointing it out!

No prob, was all said in jest!

Do calculations on your own or be burned like some people were burned by MNC dump.

No need to fact check, simply trust in RS!
