I pm'ed them. And waiting now.
Thanks for your advices, I appreciate it.
Sorry for your lost Interesting. Noticed this has been happening. There is someone or a few people that stalk for sale items and try to impersonate the sellers. They get lucky sometimes. They almost scammed one of my buyers on a previous sale but he caught the difference. Be sure to leave negative feedback and the OP of this post should leave the account negative feedback for impersonating Example. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=324296 tried to impersonate me before

The only problem is who would buy the old hashing boards, if a "motherboard" is still needed. Who would have these
Anyone with a defective board that is still running 8 or 9 and wants to get back to 10!
Exactly. And most of the cost for complete unit are more than likely due to the hashing boards and the PSU. If we can get only the "motherboard" or the barebone kit minus the hashing boards which would bring down the cost. 1 Power Board; 1 set of IO Board + BB Board + SD card; 2 sets of Fans + Fans’ cover; 1 LCD screen;Hell even forget the LCD screen and maybe even the fans. The first 2 items in the list would be enough and if you already have PSU's laying around reusing the old hashing cards (1Th/s ) would be a cheap enough option.

For those planning to upgrade their S2's . Do you think Bitmain will provide the below parts to use the old hashing boards instead of having them sit on a shelf ? Would be nice, if they could sell the following only: 1 Power Board; 1 set of IO Board + BB Board + SD card; 2 sets of Fans + Fans’ cover; 1 LCD screen; Try thinking out of the box? Keep your S2 intact and buy two S3's magic! You can think like that when you have access to unlimited power. For those that would like to put as much hashing power as possible on the same outlet, especially if no PSU upgrade is required. It is best to do the upgrade and resell the old hashing boards. That way you increase your hashing power while keeping the power requirements constant. magic lol If you took a little more time reading the quote that I was replying too "Do you think Bitmain will provide the below parts to use the old hashing boards instead of having them sit on a shelf ?" The OP wanted to reuse the old hashing boards thus why not keep his S2 intact as is. Pointless to take the boards out of the original box to stick them in another. Do you own a S2 to begin with ? If someone will only be purchasing the new hashing cards, going off what was communicated about the S2 being upgradable. They will not be buying a complete S4* with all the bells and whistles. All that choose to upgrade their S2's will have to remove the old hashing cards to replace it with the new ones. Therefore since a new and complete S4* was not purchased with the bells and whistles, but ONLY the hashing cards. The old hashing cards that were removed from the S2 will not be used. But if only the specific parts below can be provided, which should be very cheap. Then for those that choose to upgrade instead of buying a new S4* with PSU, case etc. Will be able to use the old hashing boards without paying too much. 1 Power Board; 1 set of IO Board + BB Board + SD card; 2 sets of Fans + Fans’ cover; 1 LCD screen;
*- Used S4 since S3 is being used as the upgrade name for S1 if i remember correctly

What are people's thoughts about starting mining with one of these for $1450 after coupon starting in the beginning of July? Wish I had more information as to the cost of the S3 and cost to upgrade the s2 in the future.
Lot of hashing power just hit the network a few days ago. Will result in around 20% or more increase in difficulty and with some of the KNC Neptunes "shipping" this month, that might push it a little further. Might be best to wait to see what is offered with the S3 so that you will have a miner that lasts longer. However if the upgrade path for the S2 is very cheap and reasonable then that might change things

I'd be interested in the reseller offer. I'm in California and have office space in NYC ... contact us on skype Tried to contact you on Skype, but suspect it must have been the wrong Andy. Wanted me to send BTC to start reseller agreement, not sure if this is your policy. In any case can the reseller terms be discussed via email ? Instead of playing cat and mouse on Skype What Skype address did you use? Did you get a BTC address? It was a scammer account . They wanted BTC at the address below. Upon looking closer at the skype name , it has live:tech.andy Payment BTC address: 17kn4utdb9Zcc6kEr7Vr1P1LtPJQc2fCK1

Stop the bickering kids Difficulty should reach escape velocity now that KNC has fully funded there new asics. They will probably stop selling soon and make miners for themselves . If that really does happen, hopefully all has learnt. The customers would have just been a means to an end, not the business model.

Power Consumption: Approximately 9700W (+ or – 10%) Power Connection: 40 x PSU 6 PIN PCIE Socket (6 PIN PCIE to be used with a modular PSU. 20 x 600W PSU is recommended) So...the 280MH miner seems like it might be a little difficult to run at home. 20 x 600W PSUs recommended. Wow. Way tooooo much power, these will if they are not already be very unprofitable in less than 2 months

Whats going on, you have been online yet are not answering any questions? Credibility is important if you want to be a successful reseller.
Sorry, I was busy uploading pictures. LKETC dropped their price on their international website, it is now cheaper to buy from them directly then from any reseller. I like to earn some extra cash from other miners, but if I sell it to you for 1749 and they sell it for 1599.88, I am ripping people off. And I don't like to earn that kind of money. Not a lot of resellers have this mentality. Good to see it on the forums

Price updated, $9500 including shipping. Thanks
Can you convince factory to drop to $6000 ?. Once the larger miners get released in the not too distant future. Probably around August these will only be worth 88/300 *10000 approximately just about $3000.

Hey Lee - I'm an old Dragon customer and have not checked your thread in a while. The A2 Terminator is interesting but I don't see specs on the first page. Is the $6779 listed the full delivery price? Expensive and I have been out of Scrypt since asics came around. But maybe it's time to get back in.
That is not the full price.Currently he has a special not sure if it is still on. The full price is around $9700 to $10000 if I remember correctly. $6779 would be a decent price though Lee

That explains it. I missed your post. Will lock this thread. Will wait until all the asics have hit the market after the Titan launches to see what the growth is like before getting any other machines on second thought

Very sad. Most people learned there lesson from the BFL single days. Hopefully now everyone have learned there lesson and will not just throw money at BFL.
