thanks cicada. Found that out after mutiple os reinstalls. I was using 32 bit before, I am now using 64 bit. However for some that might not have there cards showing up when going doing ./poclbm.py only shows your cpu. Try doing sudo ./poclbm.py it should list all your video cards then.
If all else fails try the following below
59 DISPLAY=:0 sudo aticonfig --initial --adapter=all 60 echo export DISPLAY=:0 >> ~/.bashrc source ~/.bashrc sudo aticonfig --initial -f --adapter=all
All my cards are now detected

Did a reinstall. I now get the following error instead. I followed the instructions to the T, had to get the python-json using bzr checkout http://bzr.json-rpc.org/trunk instead though Uninitialised file found, configuring. Using /etc/X11/xorg.conf Saving back-up to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.original-0

I totally agree, if he filled a claim because he did not receive the bitcoins he purchased, but he later received the coins and still continues to file the claim. He is not only a scammer but a dishonorably human being. Why cant we just be honest ? But I guess the world does not work this way.
I sent my payment around 12:00AM last night so I will wait a little longer, to see what happens.
I honestly think what is important during these kind of transactions is constant communication to reinforce trust and keep all parties in the loop.

Wow,
I have payed a member on here 205 USD in exchange for 200 Mt.Gox USD. He hasn't sent it yet, but I will try to be patient and give him the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully he sends my Mt.Gox code.
So for now I will just wait and see what happens later today

A friend told me that he has a silicon Graphics Onyx2 laying around. How efficient would you think this machine would be for minning provided electricity is free any estimates hash rates

sorry im getting 3500 khash, not mhash, wasnt thinking.
At 3,500 khash, you're looking at one share every 18 minutes or so on average. If you don't see one in 40 minutes, something is likely wrong. How do you do the above calculations ?

Hi guys,
Would just like a little advice, I am relatively new to bitcoin, I have been hearing about it for awhile but have decided to jump in.
I currently have two servers that total 32 CPUS* 2.4GHx Xeon E7340. Would you suggest solo minning or pool minning ? Which would prove to be the more efficient interms of obtaining bitcoins ?
Looking forward to your comments
