21  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Willing to Sell 0.50 btc at preev rate only Bank Transfer India on: January 15, 2016, 04:00:51 PM

22  Local / India / What Bank Account on: January 09, 2016, 06:27:26 PM
I have been using HDFC for my trading requirements, and the only downside of them was a 30 minute cooling period before i could transfer money out. But now they have a restriction of 10k rupees by IMPS for 24 hours, and 25k for 48 hours and then no limit. So i was wondering which is the best bank account for bitcoin trading in India.

The parameters would be zero cooling time, no limit on 1st transaction, no limit on adding beneficiaries, no limit on transactions using MMID and mobile number, and preferably no limit on daily transaction volume as well, as again HDFC limits to 10 lac in a day. help would be highly appreciated.
23  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Willing to lease 27 acres of land for bitcoin mining on: January 07, 2016, 10:12:04 AM
apparently there is not much money in generating solar energy, unless you have govt. subsidy and on top of that have someone to sell the power to at a good price. the rate of return and duration of return do not warrant the large amount of investment required.
24  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Provide Newest Batch of AntMiner With low value declaration on: December 30, 2015, 07:11:50 PM
Hi
As we all know import taxin India is fairly high ,so if you get the miner like you pay 1600$
then you'll have to pay 400$ tax , so what's the solution?
Now service with low value declaration is provided
Antminer newest batch is available
for details ,please contact
whatsapp:+8613838248258
skype:jianghu441

How are you providing low value declaration. Is it legal? will you clear the customs and deliver it, or are you going to ship it declaring low value, and do you really think the customs are fools, who will not apply real value?

26  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Willing to lease 27 acres of land for bitcoin mining on: December 15, 2015, 02:37:06 PM
location of land? electricity cost in area?

its in southern part of india and the cost of electricity is rs 3 per unit i guess. if i get a good project report then we can talk about that. it can be generated from solar power. it wont be an issue.

sounds pretty interesting. if that is the cost of electricity, then some profit can be made.

28  Local / India / Re: Unocoin: Buy, Use and Accept Bitcoin in India on: December 02, 2015, 11:11:35 AM
Added money to unocoin before being able to purchase, said deposit will take between 2 hours to 24 hours. i was okay with it. price was 20600, eventually had to buy when price was 21200. no problem. exactly what your website said happened and i was fine.

bought 1 btc at 21200, website said immediate transfer to address mentioned. and just like it said, 1 btc showed up in my wallet. perfect.

so i spend the rest of my money, buy approx 5 btc, and expect transfer to happen immediately, like your website says. but it didnt. not for the next 8 hours.

This is not what is said on your website. btc price fell 15 usd in the meanwhile. Not acceptable.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1242915.0

This thread pretty much answers the question. There are a lot of sellers of BTC and buyers are just not interested in buying at market price, when they can get it much cheaper. today if you want to buy btc at preev rate, you could easily pick up a 100 BTC within 30 mins. but if you put an ad out at preev - 2000, you would still be able to pick that amount of btc.
30  Local / India / Re: LocalBitcoin - Members Reputation on: November 26, 2015, 01:18:06 PM
I was just going through the Localbictoin membesr and found that there are quite a few whose transaction is 1000+ with 100%. Was wandering how much genuine are those people to trade with. Has any of them traded with the below members and how was their experience?

dare2win
huhuren
dizz
techsuvidha

Any other members who are safe to trade with and would recommend? I know escrowmsa is from this community and safe to trade with.

I can vouch for dizz and techsuvidha. huhuren seems to be a chinese dude, who has a friend in india who transfers money.

P.s. I also have 1000+ with 100%.

Adding more banks and maintaining them is not at all a problem for us. All banks provides net banking and stuff which enables us to transfer funds to our another bank within minutes. Though, 90% of the funds our customers deposits , is in AXIS bank, Not sure why our customers are not using ICICI for deposits.

I think it has something to do with the account number actually being a name. i honestly found it quite funny. And the other part being, i think the other time i tried doing an IMPS to icici, it got rejected. So never bothered with it and always transfer into axis.

A very cool service, if someone is looking at opportunities, would be to process fiat payments for Bitcoin companies in India.
That way, the service levels and last mile fund transfer can be maintained by the processor, while companies can use their services for a fee.

Aren't there already services like these for other companies?

1. Initial withdrawal limits given to us by banks are 10 Lacks a day. We have now increased the limits to 35 Lacks a day. We have requested to increase these limits even further. So, this issue has already been resolved. We get daily withdrawal requests of 20 lacks on an average as of now.

Thank you for being open. much appreciated.

if you all keep adding banks, it will create only hassle for you. as consolidating money across various banks will be so much hassle, you all will end up moving money between your own accounts only. I am sure you all have data as to the banks majority of your customers use. Just pick the top 2-3 only
33  Local / India / Re: Release of Payments on Weekends on: November 17, 2015, 10:47:19 AM
I have a suggestion for all entities involved here. We should select 3-4 banks. doesnt matter who they are, have a vote and decide and all exchanges, coinsecure, btcxindia, unocoin, zebpay, igot have accounts in those banks, and so do the customers.  if 3-4 is difficult, choose between 1-2. what happens then, is that payments outside banking hours are possible, they are free, as bank-bank is free of charge and it happens instantly.

   Possible?

34  Local / India / Re: Release of Payments on Weekends on: November 17, 2015, 07:24:19 AM
I was just trying to analyze which Indian site/exchange actually work 24/7 in terms of making payments.

As far as I am aware only BTCXINDIA is the only site which actually accepts & releases payment even in midnight including weekends too.

I dont think any of them  Zebpay, Coinsecure & Unocoin releases payment on weekend during day as well.

Is there any other useful site in India for Bitcoin?

For Weekends, if you need INR deposits and withdrawals, BTCXIndia is the only option. Got a deposit done at midnight yesterday(though not a weekend), and a withdrawal was processed at 130 in the morning.

Your only other option for weekends is localbitcoins.

Coinsecure and Unocoin have bank issues. They get too much volume, and are unable to handle it.

And its funny, as BTCXIndia had actually shut operations for a while, as they had bank issues, but they came out much stronger than before. Both Unocoin, and BtcxIndia use HDFC bank as their banking partners, so the situation should be the same for them.

If i am not wrong, Zebpay does process on weekends, although i would like to add the word, "sometimes" to that.
35  Local / India / Re: India Bitcoin trading - daily market prediction and speculation thread on: November 14, 2015, 01:11:54 PM
this thread is the closest it gets to post what i am posting. The last month, with the way things have been going, i have a feeling india is maturing as a market, to fix bitcoin price as a function of demand/supply rather than just following the big foreign exchanges. We are moving towards price discovery, and that speaks a lot of a more maturing market, and this is indicated by the rise of volume across all exchanges. Although the almost 1000 rupee discount on buying and 2000 rupee discount on selling compared to the foreign markets may look like a dampener, but the bigger concern is the massive spread of about 1000 rupees between buying and selling. (data using average data on bitcoinrates.in)

Hi, everyone been hit 2 times today, but ip's based in the uk and us, asking to make payment to my hdfc account using a payment service called xoom. the first guy had only 1 trade, when i asked him for documents, was going round and round as to how good the payment service is, but did not provide any documents. asked him to cancel, as something seemed wrong. as soon as he cancelled, within 5 min someone with a us ip sent me a request, asking to transfer money via xoom.

havent traded, but just wanted to know, this looks suspicious. just though would give everyone a heads up. i could be wrong, though.

I am sure it is the same guy using a VPN, Tongue

haha must be, the payment service looks decent, i had a look at it, but the way he spoke, smelled of a scam. i just couldnt figure out how he would do it.

Yeah better to be safe than sorry! The fact that he changed VPN to convince you as another user should tell you that he was looking to scam you. Apparently Xoom is a paypal company, so i am guessing they support charge backs? If they do, that could have been his modus operandi!

hmmm, it appears that they transfer directly to bank account, but in my experience with banks last 2 years, if they would request a charge back, the bank would have gone all out to block my account and what not. the banking system is so bad, i cant tell you, its the only reason i think bitcoin has a future.

39  Local / Buyer/ Seller Reputations (India) / Re: Sell Bitcoin on bitquick.in on: November 09, 2015, 07:33:48 AM
I sold 0.11435251 BTC for Rs 2968.32 on bitquick.in on 5th November 2015 and finalized my order by sending bitcoins to the address provided by them immediately. It is extremely regretted that 4 days of my sale have passed but I did not receive money in my bank account though bitquick.in claims instant buy/sell. My order no. is 28206465. Can any one guide me how to get my money or otherwise get my BTC back to my wallet?

For selling on bitquick, you need to send your bitcoins to bitquick first, then when someone comes and buys it, and when you confirm that you have received payment, then bitquick releases the bitcoins to other party. This is not what you have mentioned. there is a possibility you may have been scammed.
40  Local / India / Re: Buying Bitcoins in India using debit cards or netbanking? on: November 09, 2015, 07:26:30 AM
There is nothing faster than IMPS to transfer INR within India. Using IMPS, you can buy from traders on direct trading exchanges like www.LocalBitcoins.com, www.100bit.co.in etc.

IMPS usually has a minimal additional charge included to the payment we make. I was hoping that having a payment made through debit cards would cut short that charge and I'd only have to pay a minimal fee for purchasing the bitcoins, if any. But yes, probably like you've mentioned IMPS is much quicker too. I'm guessing 100bit.co.in and localbitcoins don't require any form of KYC docs?

Debit cards carry a charge of about 2.5% for the merchant. people may sell but at worse prices. IMPS costs about 5 rupees a transaction.
