Getting different prices for buying bitcoin on the main page and then when i click on buy bitcoins, the price is 200 rupees more. coming back to the main page, it is 200 rupees less.
Yes the buy has different price than zebpay ticker, appx 1% zebpay ticker is used as reference price on all transactions. Buy price is decided by backend sellers, at the moment it is zebpay India. The 1% gap helps us to work with the volatility on prices. Regards this wasnt there earlier i guess. what happened to buysellbitco seller?

I will stay away till you all get down to same day withdrawls. The dream would be withdrawls within the hour.
Try now. Changes in place. Do give us a max of 24 hours. Overall experience of deposits and withdrawals, will be a whole lot better after this. okay, i have to give it to you. Fantastic job. had deposited INR that same evening, and it took an hour to credit. Not that awesome, but then still it was a step in the right direction. But today you have blown me away. Sent a withdrawl request to BTCXIndia, and then the next min to you for INR withdrawl. Btcx processed the withdrawl in an amazing time of 10 mins. I got the deposit message from you guys 4 mins before the btcx message, so i would estimate around 6 mins was taken by you all, even though your email arrived 3 mins later. All in all a great job. Impressed. I still prefer BtcxIndia over you guys, because of the volume, but you are no longer on the black list. That belongs to Igot and Unocoin for now. And the fact that i am looking at moving away from LBC for selling, you guys should expect more volume from me soon. Though, on an end note, i really hope Unocoin also reacts positively like you guys did.

Haha, this is damn funny whatsapp conversation. Anyway i have my own tale to tell.
Here goes.
Got scammed for approx 90k in November last year. More on that story later. That is not the important one. So stopped trading for a month, and then decided to start accepting transfers but after being very anal about verification. So had this guy who contacted me who wanted to buy 69k worth of coins. Told him id was required and he co-operated completely. Sent me aadhar card, sent me the screen shot of his netbanking account homepage, and everything matched perfectly. the names, account number everything. There wss no reason to suspect at all. Sadly, it looked too perfect then. Anyway, this was in January, 2015. 3 days back i get a call from someone claiming he had transferred the money to my account in January, and claiming i still hadn't provided the degree to him. I was completely lost, as to what he wanted, but he sounded like someone who already knew he was scammed, so was very patient in talking. Over the course of the next hour, i understood exactly what transpired.
Some guy created a website providing online degree, and this scammed person contacted website, to provide him the degree. the website owner, asked him to make payment to my account, and took all documents from the scammed guy, including his financial records, aadhar, other educational degrees, etc. An absolute identity theft. Whatever, document i asked for, was provided, as the website owner had all the documents.
the website owner and the degree seeker were in touch for last 6 months, but last week the website went down, and the mobile numbers remained switched off. Which is when the scammed guy realised something was amiss. so the only person left for him to contact was me. Which he did.
My November scammed story i will share in a couple of days.

Why is it so difficult to get INR out of you guys. i sent the withdrawl request yesterday morning, sent an email as well right after that. I thought maybe it will come yesterday, or maybe it won't. you say you process the withdrawal, between 9 am to 9 pm. no where does it say sunday is a holiday. But i will still give it to you, take a break on a sunday. But today is a monday, its 1 in the afternoon, and if you are processing withdrawls, from 9 am, even if you had done NEFT, i should have had the money by now. But i dont have it.
I stopped using IGot and unocoin for the same reasons. i dont want to be running after my own money. Please do the needful, and i would really like to know measures taken to ensure this doenst happen again.
We have added some staff work on Bank Transfers. That SHOULD help. They start with us today, so should be in training, etc this week and start with work as they get comfortable and accurate with Bank Transfers, etc. Also will be adding some time slots for INR withdrawals and a safety net of atleast 2-3 days. Not that we need it, but longer delays seem to be the norm with fiat across all exchanges and some of these transfers do get queued up under a pile of other requests as well. Would rather state 2-3 days and complete it sooner if we can. 2-3 days is way too much. I hope you realise you have competition which is way better and faster than you guys. the norm maybe for those which are not purely an exchange but buy and sell directly from end user, and in case they have more volume on one side, it gets difficult to fulfil the orders. For a live exchange like you guys, there is no justification for withdrawls taking so long. On the software side, i sincerely believe you guys are fantastic. The options available for trading on coinsecure are by far the best. However, your day to day operations, i have felt from the beginning have been seriously lacking, almost feeling like you guys are doing it half heartedly. I will stay away till you all get down to same day withdrawls. The dream would be withdrawls within the hour.

Unocoin is already providing the payment processing service. As of now the fee for processing is 0%. Which means if some one buys the shoes you sell for 500 INR, then all of that 500 INR will reach your bank account the next business day. https://www.unocoin.com/merchants/overviewThis seems to be for online shops. do you have a solution for offline retail as well?

That is great, but just a little insight i would like to give you guys. i mentioned to him how bitpay doesnt have any fees for the first million, and his reply was, he doesnt pay any fees to his card processing merchant as well as they give so much volume to them. so your revenue model will depend on?

Actually yes those kind of ads will increase awareness about bitcoins and not a particular company , but if the people listening in think of buying bitcoin then they will likely go to the trading sites that are in India , and it will likely be the big companies, so only they should consider doing it.
But if it has already been done and wasn't successful , then its hard to comment if it will work.
You do have industry-wide campaigns (I can think of milk, eggs, etc), where companies pool resources and the focus is on promoting the industry, rather than a particular company. Once there are enough companies, this can be attempted. Some kind of foundation or alliance can do this in an effective way. Yes, but does any foundation exist in India currently? http://www.bitcoinalliance.in/

The one thing we lack in India is merchants accepting bitcoins as a payment option. I have a relative who owns a store in a mall and i was talking to him about accepting bitcoin as a payment option. Since, i had not explored this space much, 2 names came to mind, namely bitpay and unocoin and i suggested him to look into it, and came home. While doing my research, i found out that bitpay will not remit funds to an indian bank account and unocoin seems to be only supporting online merchants and not offline ones. Yes, he can accept bitcoins and sell them on his own, but thats not going to be seamless.
The other argument is he can keep the bitcoins himself and use one of the many apps, which act a a POS, but trying to sell that to someone who has not used bitcoins and heard only bad things about it, is going to be really difficult.
So, the point of this topic is, is there any solution out there which any one is aware of?

Hey Guys, I am fairly new to bitcoins, just joined the train in 2014. The difficulty in mining has gone up a lot in the past couple of years, and the ROI is not significant, primarily because of the electricity cost and the expenses to purchase the mining rigs. However, I have free electricity at my house, and was thinking of starting a group buy sort of thing, to collectively buy a mining rig and mine bitcoins. I am based in Chennai. So if any one from Bangalore-Chennai area might be interested in running a mining rig, or share the cost of mining rigs, I would be happy to help.
Okay, so how many rigs can you support. is the electricity going to remain free forever. your house will have a connected load. what is it. you dont want to overload the circuit and burn down the house. do you have a spare room in your house. there will be a lot of noise, and heat as well.
