If I buy 1 price is 3.528 + .103 to ship to USA I am trying to figure out hosting option. okay seems that the .103 btc is to ship to the hosting data center 11 cents a kwatt to host. seems that shipping to the usa is free so 3.528 btc to the USA price is too high for me either way. good luck to all buyers!   shipping to USA is probably not free. Bitmain surprised us while launching the S3 by pricing it lower than what the market expected. They should do the same with the S4 as well. It should be priced under 2 BTC. Mining is not about just seeing how long it takes to break even. i need to make a reasonable profit. Atleast 10-20% if not more.

Price is back to 0 USD (0 Btc) . i think a fair price would be around 2 BTC and they should price their product in BTC only.

Hi Shadil, We have incorporated company in Singpaore via our legal counsel and the current address is of our legal counsel office which is very common when you setup your business offshore initially. We do not have any physical office in Singapore at the moment, but we are planning to get one soon and it will be only administrative contact office. We are not related to any other business in any manner. If we will have any business or strategic partnerships we will announce the same via our blog in future. We are trying to build product that is aimed at liquid Bitcoin markets for the time being as our focus is allow people to spend Bitcoins. last night they all crashed. similar problem to what happened previously. check this thread out. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=677110.0i had got new control boards but they lasted 20 days. this sale is closed as of now, unless you want it on as is where is basis. |

disassembling the s1 boards and putting s3 parts in seems like quite a task, which i am not up for. also by the time they ship almost 31 days later, i dont think it would make sense. atleast for me. i think i am done with mining atleast for a bit. maybe some time later.

The only reason for me to consider Bitstamp is their exchange price, which seems much lower compared to any other option out there.
Just so you know, there are fees levied by your bank towards INR to usd conversion and wiring the money, and then some fee charged by bit stamps bank to accept the wite and process it. Make sure you know how much these cost before you send across the deposit. also all of this will be applicable when the bank actually agrees to send the money across. as an ordinary indian citizen there is no legitimate reason for you to be sending money across to bitstamp, as it doesnt fall in any of the categories allowed by RBI for remittance purpose. (categoreis include education, medical reasons, etc.) However, as a business entity you may send money across, but i believe for that you need an invoice or something of that sort from them that you are transferring money for a purchase. However, how you will show it as an import because if the money went out, you need to show something has come into the country. The only legal way as such to send an unlimited amount of money to anyone outside india is by credit card. |

i received an email from info@bitmaintech.com. their name usually comes up as "Bitmain Tech" but this time it was "bitmain tech". the subject of the email was Invoice payment with an attachment called Invoice_7845.jar and nothing else written in the email. in the jar there was an ID file, a Main.class and a MANIFEST.MF and a Server.class file. just thought will let you guys know. |

Hi,
Been using 3 Antminer S1 since March, April and May respectively. Want to sell all of them. 180 Gh/s clock speed over clockable and tested to 393.75 MHZ stable operation and 199 Gh/s avg. speed. with less than 1 % HW on 2 and about 1.2% HW on 1. They all are just coming out of warranty. The control board on all 3 of them had gotten spoilt. Received brand new control boards yesterday and all of them are back up to spec which i am selling. Sale price is .25 BTC or INR 8750 which ever you prefer per unit. Will ship free of cost anywhere in India. Personal inspection also available. Miner located in Mumbai. Can ship same day as well. Price not negotiable.
Reason for selling is that i am upgrading to S3's and dont have additional power capability at home.

so an update on this topic. wrote to bitmain. they asked me to perform certain tests. nothing worked. was asked to ship control boards to china. shipped 3. in ten days (today) received 3 new control boards. installed them. my ants are hashing now and all seems okay. there is only one issue now. out of 3 ants, 1 blade of 1 of them is not hashing. initially that blade was not being shown and now it is showing but with 32x. dont know what this issue is. tried another control board but that does not seem to be the issue. will write to bitmain in the morning.
