123  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloudhashing.com MtGox customer discount on: March 07, 2014, 02:34:56 AM
Ow man not fair!

I have been waiting hours for his post and you two jump in and steal it Wink

Well thanks for saving me the hassle.

Anyone thinking of investing in this do the math yourself. If its not a scam then its just plain horrible.

Who knows maybe the guys just delusion and not a heartless thief thats not up for me to say still the result for investors would be much the same. Another kick in the nuts.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stand By Satoshi on: March 07, 2014, 02:21:02 AM
i think the media will get tired of him because he didn't show signs that he is satoshi.

don't worry, he will have peace eventually. the real satoshi won't be tracked down so easily.

I'm sure we all hope your right.

Really must suck being him right now I would hate to be in that position.

What comes around goes around. Nothing we do or say here will protect her from a doxxing. Almost feel sorry for her...

Nothing but harm will come of this. Such a shame.

Frankly, it's not a shame.

She could have easily avoided this by conducting a professional interview, where "my people will call your people" and setup an interview. And you will have full control over what is released.

But no, she went paparazzi and tracked down a man she "thinks" is Him. The only reason these people get away with it for Celebs is because most of this information is already public knowledge, and the person is well-known.

In this case, a person's life has been ruined.

...all for page views.

Well, I say, fine...if you want page views, we will give you page views. [We will] let the world know who you are; I'm sure they just want to say Hi.
....just as you did this person of little notoriety ("he's" notoriety is in the name; not in the face...or was). We should do the same for you

*obviously 'you' is referring to the reporter and not you V4V

hehe yea its ok bud I know your not having a go at me. I just need to be careful in what I say regarding the public doxxing of people because "Changing avatars is currently not possible" and if she does get doxxed and ends up killing herself or what ever I might stick out .

Still by my very nature I wouldn't want her to come to any harm mentally or physically that's just me and who I am. However I do not judge others who might feel very differently its not my place to judge.

My prediction is regardless of any of our opinions or wishs she is going to get doxxed by someone. Hence me saying the whole thing is a shame Sad
126  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 750 GH/s - 3TH/s Miners from $3565 - www.bitcoinultra.co.uk on: March 07, 2014, 01:57:41 AM
I got the same email and basically replied that I am already in a pre-order situation right now so unwilling to commit to another, but would visit them as soon as they have physical units and place a multi-unit order in person at their premises on seeing the units.

I guess there are many who will pre-order anyway but I am not going through this again...Smiley

Yea I am going to be doing exactly the same as you unless they can provide the evidence I suggested a few posts up.

Wont lie I'm a little gutted about this right now.
127  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 750 GH/s - 3TH/s Miners from $3565 - www.bitcoinultra.co.uk on: March 07, 2014, 01:46:00 AM
Just looked at both your twitter and Facebook page both fantastic marketing platforms for a company such as yourself and not a single picture.

Come on fix this and prove the doubts wrong you know its in your interest...well if your legit anyway.

128  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 750 GH/s - 3TH/s Miners from $3565 - www.bitcoinultra.co.uk on: March 07, 2014, 01:31:52 AM
I honestly think I might want one or more of your rigs more than anyone else on the planet right now.

HOWEVER

"Here at Bitcoin Ultra, our main goal is to reinvent the way people purchase their mining equipment; by putting a stop to the endless pre-order queues, offered by other hardware suppliers.
We will NOT accept any pre-order payments, until our mining rigs are in full production.
"

So why are you asking us to pre order ?

Prove to me your in full production and I will be more than happy to hand over the last cash I have to my name.

You cant tell me you don't have a prototype so post pictures of it ( no one cares how messy it looks).

Show us a video of it hashing away on a pool or something.

Go to your manufacturing location (you claim its less than 1 mile away) and open the box's that just came thu the door. Take pictures of them show us the chips you have, show us the PCB's show us the hands of one of your workers assembling a unit and put a copy of the local Yorkshire times or what ever's front page in every photo.

This honestly would not take more than 1 hour of your time and mean so very very much to your potential customer base. A customer base I might add that you know very well has been plagued with bullshit claims and scams for too long. You can be different.

If you cant do that you should not take a single pre order payment until you can prove you have units in stock and then sell them in an honest fashion.

Why would you tar your self with the same brush like the other companies you claim to be different from.

I cant tell you how much I hope your company is legit and can deliver but (and I'm sure I don't speak only for myself) I have no more blind faith to give.

Please do the right thing because "the wait is NOT finally over"
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Britain to scrap VAT taxes on Bitcoin trades on: March 06, 2014, 11:35:03 PM
Also who are scan.co.uk banking with?
It doesn't really matter as they are using Bitpay to turn it into GBP right away, so no bitcoin accounting needed and bank need never know.

I read somewhere they are keeping a % of transactions. I would go search for it but to busy watching some poor guy called Satoshi get doxxed  Cry
130  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: why did people ever use mtgox? on: March 06, 2014, 11:28:20 PM

Big hugs man.

If there is anything I can do to help like manual boring tasks that just require man hours and not coding knowledge please don't hesitate to send it to me.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stand By Satoshi on: March 06, 2014, 11:17:01 PM
You do realize the guy is richer than all of the BCT forum members put together since he holds one million Bitcoins, right? The guy can probably buy an island somewhere where he can be a recluse all he wants.

I still don't see why some people continue to call for BCT members to help Satoshi out. Are they not taking into consideration just how much his one million Bitcoins are worth?
You do realize that if Satoshi touches his stash it will crash the market?

No it wont.. Why would it crash the market? So what you're saying is because the guy who designed btc, has btc, if he spends said btc, btc will crash?

Panic, and a 1M btc dump would obliterate the market in an instant.

Might not even have to dump anything for a mass panic. Just a single Satoshi moving from that wallet will send a shockwave out. If you guys had not noticed our market is kinda prone to mass hysterical panic dumps  Grin

I am saying no one knows that you are not law enforcement.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: **Breaking news** Satoshi Nakamotos identity revealed on: March 06, 2014, 01:59:30 PM
This is most likely not the real Satoshi. Unfortunately this article just ruined his life.

His life is now messed up either way I agree. I almost hope its Satoshi just because at least he would have the money to try and escape the media/everything else.

Boycotting that site 100% forever the "reporter" should be ashamed.
135  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: why did people ever use mtgox? on: March 06, 2014, 01:52:43 PM
OhShei8e  am I right in thinking that after your holiday when you get back you are looking the block chain over using transaction ID's from victims who signed up to your site?

If so please read post 30 on thread below.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497504.20

Seems like the call centre might a single use after all.
136  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: » [ANN] COINCLEAN.CC - TAINT PROOF BITCOIN MIXING SERVICE - WITH DEVELOPER API « on: March 06, 2014, 01:16:10 PM

Stay anonymous!

Really sorry about the tinfoil but what is stopping you keeping keeping the transaction info? Seems to me this would really benefit hackers as well as legit bitcoin customers if you do as you claim and delete records after 48 hours.

While I understand it is not up to you to make that distinction however what if lets say you are wanting to make that distinction because you are in fact law enforcement?

I suppose if that is the case then hey as legit coin owner the sites safe to use right? lol sorry as much as I would love the bounty you are offering for little to no work I will sit this one out.

Still good luck all the same after all it is a cool idea.

0.000001 bitcoin says Mark picked the call centre company as a final goxxing as he slithered out.
