141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Lega Serie A 🇮🇹 (Italian League) Prediction Thread 2023/2024⚽ on: April 13, 2024, 05:24:52 PM
This week seems like there isn't any big games or anything, so it looks like it is going to be pretty normal, I do not think that we are going to get many shocking results. These type of weeks are usually prime for parlay, I may end up losing, but the top five all playing different teams, that means you are capable of betting the top five to all win their games. Obviously that may fail, which happens more often than not because the odds are quite low on something like that to happen but you could at least earn a lot whenever it happens as well.

This is why I am spending this week that way without having to worry about anything else, quite rare scene that I will see it get a win, but I am quite happy with what we have.
142  Economy / Gambling / Re: AVIATRIX | NEXT GENERATION OF CRASH-GAMES | EARLY BIRD BONUS on: April 13, 2024, 04:24:23 PM
This is seriously a good game but it's not necessary to copy name Aviator, you could try to give this game a different name without involving word Aviator but it's definitely good. I love how you can change the colour and model of your aircraft and how you unlock new models of planes as you win more bets. NFT marketplace idea where you'll be able to create new planes and sell them sounds cool but why would someone pay money in these aviatrix planes? Will people who buy upgraded plane NFTs be able to get some daily rewards?
My other advice would be to add a scroll bar on the right side because at the moment it's impossible to scroll down on your website without arrow keys, making the user experience uncomfortable.
Maybe if you are into crash games, you will appreciate them and their name is still different from the original aviator game, though their meaning are close to each other. I just found out that Aviatrix means a female pilot while Aviator is the male version of it. They are not just a simple crash game but they are an NFT game, which is why we can design our own plane.

You already answered your own question there, on why someone will buy such plane. That is because they can resell it later on at a much higher price in their own dedicated marketplace and yes, NFT's can also allow us to earn rewards and other exciting perks. I have no problems navigating their website. I can use both mouse scroll and arrow keys on my laptop's keyboard but if you are a phone or tablet user, simply swiping the screen should do the work.
143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING DISORDER on: April 13, 2024, 02:33:53 PM
When it comes to gambling or cryptocurrency, we always want to protect the privacy of personal information to keep ourselves safe. But in some cases, there is a need to inform others of these things. It is not bad if I share my personal information with someone I know or trusted. People's lives are not always at the same level. Accidents can happen at any time. If a gambler shares his gambling activities with his life partner or if he gives access to it, it definitely works effectively for unwanted events. I have seen a freelancer who had kept all his wealth in his online account but suddenly he lost his physical ability due to his brain stroke he lost all his wealth. In some such cases it is important to share all the information with a trusted partner.
Yeah, people who don't share the details about their finances or places where they have kept their financial holdings are making a mistake because life is unpredictable, anything can happen at any given time, so it is better to give all the details to the closest person so that they can access the financial holdings in case of an emergency or an event where the holder can't access them anymore for any reason whether it's an illness, sudden death, or anything.

The best way to do that is to write a will and mention everything in that, hand it over to a trusted lawyer who would read it out to people whose names are mentioned when the person is either no more or isn't able to do anything with the money or holdings.
144  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might reach $100k before halviing. What is your exit strategy? on: April 13, 2024, 01:52:43 PM
Having an exit strategy works only if you know the ups and downs very well, if you can guess the peak very well then you could have a proper exit strategy which could work well for you. However, if you have no idea how it would work then why would you want to do something like that. This is why it would make sense if you could just end up with a long term strategy, something that doesn't deal with high volatility, but longevity instead.

I personally do that, holding long term, buying when its low and high it doesn't matter what the price is, I just keep on buying it. Last I bought was 47k, didn't cared and bought, it went from under 20k to over 45k and I still bought it, and look how much more profit I made thanks to that.
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is gambling to you, a fanfare or potential financial havoc? on: April 13, 2024, 10:54:33 AM
It all depends on what a person's perception is regarding gambling and how they handle their activities. The guy whose expressions changed after the game escalated and went completely against him was an irresponsible gambler because he could call it off and tell your friend that he wanted to do it for fun but it is going somewhere else and he doesn't want to continue betting anymore, your friend wouldn't force him but since he had challenged your friend, he would probably feel ashamed for losing after that.

A gambler needs to make sure that they are not gambling excessively because if you say you gamble for fun and then you gamble all the time spending a lot of time and money on it, that isn't how you do it when you are doing it for fun. Gambling for fun means doing it when you are bored and need an activity to pass your time and not doing it all the time.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: considering the advantage of Fiats over Cryptocurrencies on: April 13, 2024, 03:58:04 AM
While we are so comfortable about the potentials of the decentralized digital currencies such as the Alt and the Bit coins and its centralized exchanges in the blockchains, let's also understand that the Fiats has an advantage over it that you'd have somewhere to go to and someone to hold responsible in some cases that your fund in the bank is tempered by a theft or otherwise than that of Crypto that it's transactions is operated anonymously
Theft happens with fiat payment systems too, and people become victims of scammers and voluntarily send their money, but still they have some chance of returning their money if they immediately notify the bank, and also banks have algorithms for security checks that stop suspicious transactions and ask for extra verification. So there is a chance that your moiney will be protected - the chance could be low or moderate, maybe even high, it depends on the financial service itself, country regulations, etc.

But with crypto the chance of returning money or stopping an ongoing attempt is zero. So a lot of people would rather stick with fiat, because they are not ready to be their own bank.
Theft is everywhere but when it comes to currencies, fiat must be the worse because they are subject to inflation. This is another theft here, or actually the main one who steals the value of our money. When we keep our money in the bank, sometimes they can also do shady stuffs. It's because they have a full control of our money.

This is the bad thing about being centralized. Many people doesn't know these facts yet and they also lack in knowledge about crypto, so it's sad that they only choose to be a slave to the government's money. You think cryptos are that dangerous but if one knows how to secure his wallet and know the scammer's tactics, it's only easy to avoid all of them.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: Will inflation become big challenge for retired people after 10-20 years? on: April 12, 2024, 05:45:02 PM
It is already causing lot of problems for retired people. How much will this problem intensify in future ?
This is a problem because where i worked and resigned about 12 years ago, some percentage of our salaries were removed and put into a pension fund to be claimed when we reach certain older years, anyways since then my country's currency has devalued like 1000% till date. I frankly don't know if the pension fund company is going to pay me when I'll be eligible to collect in the old rate when I stopped work or in this current devalued rate, because I believe that they'll pay based on percentage, and it'll be very unfair to use the present devalued rate. If pensioners  retirement benefits are not calculated based on the value of their currency in every year of their services, then it's a cheating on them, because if it's done on the present devalued currency, then they won't get everything that they deserves.
He didn't say it isn't. What your company is doing with some of your salary seems normal and is experienced in other companies too, though I don't think this was the reason on why your country's currency's value have declined but this issue is common as well and it was called as inflation.

Each country is suffering from it. Don't worry about your contribution, as you are going to get them when you retire but I think you can also make an early loans once you already paid enough. Their rates are going to be the same. We can only hope that the inflation goes down, so that we can properly enjoy the money that we worked hard for many years.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: April 12, 2024, 05:10:33 PM
Arsenal definitely looks like they could make a good return, but that doesn't mean that they will win the league. It's still too close and we should be very careful, I personally believe that we are going to get a good run towards the end of the season and everyone is super excited to see who will win it all.

I still find it super funny that most odd providers say that City will win the league, even though they are literally behind Liverpool and Arsenal. I guess that is what you get when you win most of the cup in the last decade and finish with a treble last season. In the end, Arsenal seems like they may still get the league, I know that it is not that easy and there is zero room for a mistake, so that is why it's quite risky.
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling A Hobby? on: April 12, 2024, 04:25:03 PM

Upon all those sources and explanation, I still need the community input on the argument to know if gambling is a HOBBY so that I and the person will understand more.
Cheers.
One question I'll ask you is: Can someone have more than one hobby? If yes, gambling can be a hobby.

There are people who take gambling as a form of entertainment, yet they are not addicted. The fact that gambling is part of something you like does not automatically mean that you'll have to do it all the time. There are also those who consider gambling a hobby and yet don't go to their account for more than four days (and also those we might classify as addicts who can't control their urge).

By the way, this topic is sure going to be a long one.
I am not the OP but your question to him have an obvious answer and that is yes, however that is not a reason for us to say that almost all things including those risky ones can now be considered as a hobby. That looks so inappropriate and as we notice, almost all examples of hobbies are only the good ones like sports, writing, and playing an instrument.

If one treats gambling as a form of entertainment, it also means that they don't expect to earn a profit out of it, which is the root cause of addiction. Doing it at all times, can be subjective. It can also mean to do a thing 1 hour per day which is still fine and not considered as an addiction.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Health Benefits of Gambling on: April 12, 2024, 03:11:23 PM
Couple of points I want to highlight for newbies in gambling that makes gamblers not to get the health benefits of gambling is that, if you are doing the wrong approach, that's risking way more than what you can bear to lose, chasing losses, being addicted, you won't feel the health benefits side of gambling because you would likely be in depression due to loses, but if you apply the right strategy, being disciplined and following the rules of, it can relieve stress, helps stops overthinking because of the joy that comes when you must have won a bet, the joy, the happiness especially during when you are watching a game that is going in your favor.
I honestly don't think gambling has some health benefits. We may enjoy our time while gambling "responsibly", but that's temporary, though it is good for our emotional well-being, but that doesn't mean it is generally healthy. In fact, gambling is physically and mentally draining though. We can only think of it as if it's healthy both emotionally and mentally, but it really is not. Almost most of the time when we lose it will not make you literally mad and frustrated. Mood swings are definitely inevitable when a person is gambling. We might see someone bursting in laughter and huge smiley faces at some point when they are winning, but when everything went the other way, that joy and laughter will turn into a frowny face instantly.
Gambling is a rollercoaster of emotions, no doubt about that, and you are right that someone who is an excessive gambler would barely be able to get any benefits out of their gambling activities because excess of anything can be bad and gambling is no exception. If you are spending a lot of time and money on your gambling activities, you will have a lot of pressure on your mind and if you are losing constantly, that makes things worse.

However, if a person gambles occasionally and even if they do it regularly, they do it in a moderate manner with a limited budget and time just to enjoy themselves, they might get some mental relief from it and feel relaxed after a and long and tiring day because you feel relaxed when you do what you like to do.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin the best asset for investment currently? on: April 12, 2024, 02:49:33 PM

Why is Bitcoin the best asset for investment currently?
We don't need a long explanation, bitcoin is considered the best investment asset today because there are stories that it has increased in price millions of times, many people have become millionaires by holding it for a few years...is being spread around the world. Many people don't even know what bitcoin is, how it works, what its supply is...they know nothing about it but they know that it can keep going higher and they invest in it.

I never see these posts or questions during bear season but when cow season comes, there are thousands of questions similar to this all over social media. This is also a sign for me to realize that cow season is really approaching.   Cheesy Cheesy
Even a short one, those who are not new here don't need it anymore and not only today but BTC is the goat (greatest of all time). Also, the increase in its price is legit and not just a story or a rumour. BTC didn't became really huge after a couple of years only but it roughly takes a decade for it to achieve a price we are seeing now.

There are also lots of challenges along the way, so becoming a millionaire through it is not easy and only a few are successful. It's risky investing on something that you don't know but this is better than those people invest in the meme coins. Maybe you are not only active for you not see a post like this but that's great if you can see this as a sign to know that a cow or bull run is now approaching.
152  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xBet Biggest Scam and Violation of Terms on: April 12, 2024, 11:28:10 AM
This is the simplest reason why a gambler needs to do their research before they start gambling on a platform because things like these can happen at any time. There is one more thing that gamblers often ignore which is the terms and conditions of a platform, but that only counts if the platform is legit since the platform you joined isn't legit, there is no point in reading the terms and conditions because they would always act against them since they aren't legit.

You should try and sue them for what they did to you, but I doubt if you will get any luck with that and you will most probably spend more money to get nothing in return. 1xbit or 1xbet has always been called a scam platform, you should have stayed updated about the industry as a gambler.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto or Real estate on: April 11, 2024, 04:18:32 PM
The way I view it is that investment is investment, just be smart in doing the one you choose to engage in. If I were anyone, I prefer engaging in the two of them, this is the smartest way instead of comparing the two. This is a good means to diversify your portfolio and I do not see a good investor that will do otherwise. It is good to avoid putting our eggs in one basket, and Bitcoin as you see it, is a seasonal investment, it is not the best investment as people think. Couple with the fact that it is an online investment, everything is virtual and anything can happen at any time. We should plan better instead of giving kudos to one over the other.

You should know that the real estate business is physical and very practical, I love it, and if luck visits you in it, you can earn your 5 times profits easily from it depending on the location, the time dedicated to it and how good you are at it. However, what I advise people to do is to invest their sold Bitcoin during the bear season of the coin to avoid letting the funds be idle. Or you will still invest in Bitcoin when you are fully aware that it is selling in the long-term disposition during the bearish season? I guess no is the answer. This is the time you even use the money to make more money so that you can buy it back at a lower price when you either believe it will bottom or confirm a viable bullish trend after the bearish phase must have ended.
Nothing can be better than having more than one investment but only if one can afford to do that. We know that it is not an easy thing to make investments in the real estate industry because of the reason that the prices of lands and properties are very high in every part of the world, this is the reason why not every other person can be able to invest in real estate because it requires a good enough capital from the investors.

Bitcoin, on the other end, provides everyone the opportunity to make investments in it because it is available even for people having capital as low as $10 because you can buy Bitcoins worth as low as $10 from an exchange platform. So, it's all about affordability in my opinion because some people can only invest in one and some can do it in multiple.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you feel when you experience violence while gambling on: April 11, 2024, 03:36:42 PM
First an overall comment on the situation - is this really a story about real gambling? I imagine whole situation to happen in a bar with pool tables in it. Something tells me that alcohol was involved in that story.

I have never experienced any acts of violence during offline gambling. I believe this was due to fact that casinos I was in always had guards, and if a person starts to behave inappropriate, he will be persistently asked to leave. Ive seen people losing thousands in seconds. It was clearly seen that they were "greatly disappointed", but maximum they did were few curse words.

The maximum level of rudeness I have seen was following. Many years ago, while being abroad on a vacation in Greece, hotel has snooker table with 1 coin = 1 game system. Company of guys have occupied that one single table and were playing for quite a time. When other company came, a guy left a coin on a table side (meaning he is next in queue to play), so those who were already playing, took that coin and put it on a regular table. That triggered a heated talk between two companies on different languages Cheesy Due to language barrier, their conflict ended with first company plays one game, then they change and other company plays, then the change again. That is the only "violence" I have experienced in gambling.
Yes, it is about real gambling because he said he went to a betting house but it was cool since they have live games there where a gambler is the ones who will play the sport against the other. If they are skilful they can secure a win but unfortunately it was the opposite that happens to the guy in the story which resulted for him to rage.

Indeed alcohol can cause a violence but for some people, losing money in gambling is already enough even if we say that there are guards in the area. The ones that you see in abroad are I think actually cute. Despite of the language barrier, they still manage to have an agreement like that. Maybe they even ended up being friends later on. If only gamblers are like this, gambling houses will become a better place.
155  Economy / Economics / Re: Marketing Strategies in the Digital Age on: April 11, 2024, 02:59:34 PM
Parents or the elderly do not deliberately choose to watch television and listen to the radio when they want to know the latest news. But they really don't understand how to use any gadgets and their eyes also don't allow them to see the gadget screen even with the help of multipurpose glasses. So this is not because of a reason for choosing not to use gadgets, but rather because of the knowledge in using the gadgets themselves that they never had before. So their choice is only on television or radio, which looks more relaxed in the eyes of today's young people.

And if we look in more detail at the choices, actually today's elderly still really want to be young again and experience the current conditions of life with various kinds of technology that can be put to good use to achieve various things. However, because this is no longer possible for them to repeat, of course they themselves have to choose something more logical with a relaxed choice that can provide a little information for themselves at this time. Because they themselves also know that their time to work like young people is now over.
I think most elderly people like using technologies that were available in their times as they understand them better and are barely interested in new technologies maybe because they don't understand them or know their usage but also because they prefer old ones. When we talk about watching the news or some show, even though they are all available online these days, they would prefer watching them on TV, and if you have a smart TV that is connected to the internet, they would still ask you to put a specific TV show or news channel on it and wouldn't want to watch on mobile or any other gadget.

Among younger generations, prefer gadgets more because they provide more convenience. You can't have a TV everywhere while you can carry a gadget anywhere you go providing you the opportunity to be able to watch anything anywhere you are.
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Health Benefits of Gambling on: April 11, 2024, 08:12:24 AM
Gambling has both positive and negative effects, but although the positive effects are discussed, the negative effects are not discussed. Gambling relieves depression but when a person loses several bets in a row, a kind of hatred is created in his mind and then from that hatred he commits various types of criminal activities. Moreover, gambling is also socially termed as a highly criminalized social addiction. After the harmful effects of gambling on the children of a gambling family, the children of the family are psychologically broken and fear for their careers in the future.
It is critical to consider all factors when making gambling decisions, and one suggestion is to force casinos and other gambling institutions to offer more information about the possible detrimental impacts of gaming. This might be accomplished with signage, booklets, or even internet resources. Another proposal is to demand that a percentage of gaming proceeds be utilized to finance research and treatment for gambling addiction. Finally, there may be stronger controls about who and how much may gamble. For example, some nations impose gambling age limitations, and certain jurisdictions in the United jurisdictions limit how much money a person may spend on gaming each day.
Among the 3 suggestions you gave there, it was only the last one is the one that is done and it became stronger now with the help of KYC. The reason maybe on why the first and second is hard to be implemented, is because they think it will affect their business badly which is likely because people are already attached to it and it will now be hard for them to leave gambling or limit their selves. They are only being greedy there.

Some casinos are still donating even not in the gambling addicts. I love casinos who has this initiative and this should be the casinos that all of us are going to support because we know that each money we put in there are not going into waste.
157  Economy / Economics / Re: Governments and their irrelevant projects just to steal public funds on: April 11, 2024, 06:46:53 AM
What would make a government to rebrand their traditional currencies just to edit some graphic designs with excessive amounts of money bills involved to execute such project that doe not mean to brings more values to the currency neither does it boost the economy level of the nation?
Can't that be a good strategy to eradicate black money and fight money launderers and other criminals hoarding money from illegal activities and other illicit works they do around the country? If the currency or the notes have been modified, people having cash will need to visit banks to get their funds exchanged and get the new notes, and those who don't do that within a specified date would lose value for the money they have.

When such things happen, people who have stored a lot of money through illegal businesses would barely be able to come out and exchange all their cash for the new ones because that would reveal what they have been doing and how much money they have been hiding.
158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can we help beginners not to get addicted on: April 10, 2024, 05:14:53 PM
Like in the OP's case, I already knew the basics of gambling before engaging in these activities, which is key to make informed and reasonable decisions. Some people simply thinks that gambling is a good way of getting easy money, but the truth is that the design of the games and the lack of self-control when it comes to our feelings and emotions makes it even harder not only to win but also don't lose your initial capital.

The best way to help newcomers, IMO, is sharing valuable information about how gambling works in reality and what they can expect from it. If they manage the expectations properly, i think that it is more difficult for them to fall in an addiction.
I doubt that beginners, before starting to gamble, will ask anyone for advice on how dangerous it is or how profitable it is. Nobody even wants to know about it, and then everyone gets experience and finds out that it is impossible to beat the casino. And even if someone collects enough information before playing to know their chances of winning, there will be those who want to check everything from their own experience.
Most beginners are scared and curious. They will ask advice on how to avoid the dangers but there are also who only care about the profit and they will ask strategies on how to maximize their potential.

Some experienced people can think they already figured out a way on how to beat the casino but many realized that it's not possible to do it, hopefully I'm the one belonging to them. Even though we can seek information from someone else, we will still need to apply them and along it will allow us to discover more things. Asking is not wrong as long as we are not picky and rush only on the good part but I understand that some are shy and prideful to go on their own.
159  Economy / Economics / Re: Why does a country borrow money from the world bank even when they can afford it on: April 10, 2024, 03:23:10 PM
From a businessperson's perspective, it's always better to start making your money with capital that does not come from your own pocket.

What a lot of businessman and tycoons do when they setup new properties and ventures is not start it with money that comes from their pocket. Cause at the end of the day, that's millions of dollars of money that could've been allocated to more important stuff, like paying off an overdue debt, or mobilizing campaigns and events that would magnify the product/service's name to the public. What they do is take out a loan in the bank for the same amount of money that they require to get the whole business going, and instead use that to set it up. They'd use the money they got from the business to set the whole thing in motion, and for the payments? They use a portion of the profits they claim to pay it off in installments. This way, the whole business is kept alive and profitable for the company, and the bank's satisfied and safe cause they're getting the money that they gave out.

This is the very reason why countries and governments take out loans instead of using their own money to start campaigns and programs. It's much safer from an economical standpoint, and at the end of the day, unless you defaulted to the world bank in the past they'd always give you money no matter how much money you owe them.
That is if you have a well-detailed plan and are very sure that it will go well because if not, your burdens are going to get doubled because apart from a failure in your chosen business, you still have an existing obligation which is to pay the money that you have borrowed.

A business is still an important thing and if they know that they can afford it, what's the sense of still loaning a money? Sure they can use those money to pay a debt but the thing is they still have another debt. This is not far from borrowing money to pay the other due loan. Anyway, I know one reason on why loaning money is beneficial. It has to do with the rising inflation rates.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor people need solution now on: April 10, 2024, 02:51:33 PM
Business gives you extra income and one who is doing a job when use his salary little by little to settle a business then in no time he will become financially stable and he will not think about spending and will not be in stress when he fulfil his family needs.

Other main thing is that people having Business has created the way of earning in advance for the age when he will not be interested in doing job or will not be able to do so because human cannot properly work in every age for his family and after some years he want retirement from work during which he can earn well from Business.
You can't set up a business being a salaried person unless you are either not married or have any family to take care of or you earn a lot of money from your 9 to 5 job. If you have a family to take care of and you are not earning a lot of money which is more than what you need every month, then maybe you can save some money each month and then set up a small business, but if none of those are positive, you can't do that.

It's not easy to be on a salary and set up a business considering the economic conditions of each country. You can barely be able to fulfil the basic needs of the household along with the bills and everything with your salary, how can you save enough money so that you can set up your business?
