Certainly, AI generated.

Thanks all, and I love that clip MJ - Y'all just spared me the time to NOT read it, or give them a page view/impression hahaha... Grin
222  Economy / Collectibles / Re: {INFO} CYPHER HODL CUSTOM BALLET CARDS FOR FREE RAFFLES POSTINGS on: October 30, 2023, 07:26:59 PM
Hmmm....That an idea that might come to fruition one of these days  Cheesy

Damn I really really really hope so. I'd frame that bitch up so nice! Wink

I also admit, it was my favorite cold-scam card as well. Killed me to peel it, thanks to the f'n "yoggening".  Sad

Sounds great!

There must be upcoming crypto art projects coming up or else I might explode!!

Get a hold of @Cygan for a new series of Icarus cards maybe? Would love to see your work there too! Smiley

225  Economy / Collectibles / Re: satori roll pricing difference on: October 28, 2023, 04:48:56 PM
Also, pretty sure less post-fork sartoris exist than pre-fork. I'm not really sure what the difference is anymore in price unfortunately.  Huh
226  Economy / Collectibles / Re: SatPulse 1K Bit Collectible - group buy - $135 per coin - ALL RESERVED on: October 28, 2023, 01:41:59 PM
Another guy I know who bought off the site before they sold out got his yesterday.

He sent me some pics showing they had some damage on the rim area(s). Has anyone else seen this?

Edit, he's not very happy about it.  Cry
227  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] 2023 SatPulse #0001 Limited Edition Autograph Coin & Encyclopedia Set on: October 25, 2023, 11:10:35 PM
that would be a question to ask them. There are lots of makers who currently sell loaded coins.

I am not involved with the XRP coins at all.

edit:

perhaps this is done where this is a "collectible" which is being sold for more than the intrinsic value. And they view this as a non "money transmitting" action.

Does the maker live in the usa? That's all that really matters I Think to FINCEN. Huh

Well shit, I missed this one. Huh

Can I pay you by sending some money with snail post?

231  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Bose QuietComfort 35 II Wireless Bluetooth Headphones, Noise-Cancelling on: October 23, 2023, 12:27:37 AM
These are literally the cat's meow of Bose headphones IMO. 🔥🔥

If I didn't already have a pair, I'd buy this, just cuz they are over the ear ... If not, my ears would hurt/be bothering me after a full day of work etc. Tongue
232  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [FREE RAFFLE] 534th ฿ECAUSE I AM STILL IN A GOOD MOOD-CYPHER HODL LOADED BALLET on: October 23, 2023, 12:23:50 AM
owlcatz - 71 as always!  Cool

Thanks again brother!
233  Other / Archival / Re: [WTS] Lot of 3 XMR Monero collectible giftcards 2 x funded 0.25 1 x Unfunded on: October 23, 2023, 12:21:36 AM
They are still here. Am I asking too much? I figured they would have moved by now.
With the loaded XMR being worth more than $75 between the pair that are loaded I figure someone would have bought them.

Been concentrating on moving out more of the car stuff over the summer, so I have not been pushing the collectables but would have believed that someone would have taken then my now.

-Dave

I don't think it's too much. I just think more people are hodling right now since the price seems to be jumping and btc consolidation starts to grow a bit early...

I'd take the loaded ones, but not sure if you are willing to split them. I already have a few non-loaded, so it feels counter-productive to me atm Tongue
234  Other / Archival / Re: Crypto Luxury Store on: October 21, 2023, 07:54:00 PM
I am not talking about purchases.

I had a transport logistic/truck transport company in US last year, they sent me like hundred of emails from different profiles, they promised me that they'd post my company in Forbes website like "Top Truck Transport Service Companies in USA", they made the article using AI for 1 minute copy paste, they asked the money before, but never posted it in Forbes.
They took my money 20.000$ and left.
What kind of advertisers are these? I got their IPs, they are from Pakistan & India.

Legit advertisers are needed, not these call centers that take people's savings and make bad reviews for other companies.

So Steve, are you the site owner of this crypto luxury store? If so, just admit it, it's pretty obvious and nobody will buy from it linked from here at this point. Huh
235  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO] Stacks Bowers Physical Cryptocurrency Auction 2023 Thread on: October 21, 2023, 01:14:26 AM
It took me less than 30 days to get paid by stacks.

They sent me a check in the mail.

As I understood it from direct emails with them that it would be wired to my account. Did you have that option, or was it just too expensive vs check in the mail? Tongue
236  Other / Archival / Re: Crypto Luxury Store on: October 20, 2023, 10:44:48 PM
I used to deal with advertisers as well, and they kept requesting thousands of dollars to make post on non sense websites.
I saw trust pilot as well, clients that buy products seems happy, advertisers are not included in this, maybe they ask too much for nothing  Grin

So this is how you recover from shafting your advertisers? Posting your site here pretending you actually bought something? Grin

237  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO] PCGS now grading AlpenCoin Bars!!! on: October 19, 2023, 09:53:58 PM
Grading in the "numismatic" field is not my strong point (I prefer the philatelic-themed one... sorry for the silly question) I wonder how it is possible to know which criteria they grade or not a crypto collectible?
must they have specific references (proof/items on their property, like something to compare)? Are "minimum" runs needed? what is the criteria they adopt for this?

I don't believe they would take qty into grading consideration but that's just my opinion.

I did find this, which is interesting - PCGS graders don't even wear gloves:

238  Economy / Collectibles / Re: {Question} - Coins collection software on: October 19, 2023, 09:09:04 PM
I think I followed this quite a while back - I like it because it can track balances of loaded coins etc. and other things when I load it:

239  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Alpen Coin - “Switzerland’s first ever physical bitcoin” on: October 19, 2023, 08:07:27 PM

I thought I'd post this image of my new prototype. It's an automatic Swiss watch, with a Swiss movement.

I'm trying to get the key engraved on the oscillating weight and covered with a special hologram. It would be protected by the waterproof case (10ATM / 100 meters). A bit like Kialara.

This prototype has taken me months to design and produce. I'll let you know if I manage to get the key engraved on the movement, and if the movement still works.   Wink

I also had a variant with the public key on the dial.

I don't want to sell the watch, just share the idea.

Bitcoin is time.

Well holy hell - THAT is absolutely amazing Frank!  Shocked  Shocked  Shocked

If you do ever make any more I'd probably pay a lot of btc for one. Grin

Edit - @Eclipse33 - Time is Money == Money is Time. Wink

Then again, maybe I just read too many of Nick Szabo's essays/writings lol... Cheesy

240  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [LIVE] 🌍🌎🌏 Community group participation - Bitcoin Colouring Book - CLOSED on: October 17, 2023, 08:00:10 PM
Aoluain + doblezero - that's a cool idea too. I'd kinda feel bad winning it though since I saw most drawings. Tongue

I'm sure whoever wins it will scan/photo and share, but it also begs the further question:

What can the winner ultimately do with it? Sell it? Auction it? Raffle it? I guess you can't protect downstream, but it just came to mind Huh

I'm confused by your statement. are the drawings not going to be shared on the forum when its done? I always assumed that when it was done there would be a post that showed the book to the forum? Possibly shared at the raffle? Why are the coloring pages top secret?

I dont think the intent is to keep it hidden but rather to showcase it once it is fully completed.

Well of course, I want nothing more than for the whole world to see it, but my question was more about what "the final owner" would/could/should do with it sorta thing.

I wish we had our own bitcointalk museum. Cheesy

My understanding was whoever ultimately acquired the book ultimately had the final say on the images, but aoluain has always said he didn't want to see the book (or something like that). While it was a work in progress..

(Thought bubble time) Surely the sale of 49 books pays for the 50th book and anyone participating in the colouring pays their own postage (I know I did)

I wouldn't imagine an auction would cover the cost of participants receiving a complementary copy of the next book. (See my previous comments weeks ago concerning contributors to the next book).

I'm not sure either, but I think we will figure it out. Wink I think we all paid for postage (extra in my case as well for signature delivery etc) so to me that's just no big deal whatsoever - I don't feel like I'm owed anything personally, I felt it was an honor to do it!  Smiley
