861  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INFO/WARNING] New Lydian Coin on Powercoin.it on: August 22, 2022, 01:45:06 AM
We would love to use a qr code to read the private key from the certificate of authenticity, for example, but currently blockhain.com app doesn't allow that (we have informed them of the issue and they replied they'll be working on this). Also, if you have any suggestions on how to access the private key easily, we are happy to take into account.

Regards,
Coint Co

So are you the actual coinmaker? Why didn't you just use a fckn QR code containing the private key like most other modern coins? Or the mini-key like Casascius?

What is blockchain.app and wtf/why does it have anything to do with redeeming private keys?

Methinks you need to go back to square one and figure out what the hell you are doing lol.. Cheesy

also, How can you prove you are the coinmaker? Can you even?  Roll Eyes

I agree this seems ridiculous and just another stain on collectibles... Sad

the problem is the coins dont come with any address - so a buyer has no way to confirm the balance on their own coin.

and the coins are heavily overpriced. $200 but 20 in silver and 1000 sats (about 20 cents currently)

WTF? No address? LMFAO... Fuck these guys.... Cheesy

862  Economy / Reputation / Re: CPNpr Changed Hands? on: August 22, 2022, 01:30:34 AM
I believe it's Ok to share some PMs, especially if it involves the new owner of the account in question for transparency purposes since he doesn't want to respond in the thread.

This is what CPNpr sent in my inbox
Hello sir, This account of mine belonged to my grandfather, Because his age, he does not use this account anymore.  The account was inactive for about a year.
A few days ago he gave me his account. Now  I am the owner of this account.  And that why I have  changed the mail of this account.  I applied for signature campaign with my account.  Later I see that my account has got reported.
So I request you to remove my negative feed back.

Do you believe this guy?

I got the same (pretty much pm today from them. I said if they can prove it, or get to remove like 4 out 5 negs, I'd consider it.  Cheesy

It's really no fair for some newbie to attain an account and suddenly make sig camp BTC IMO... People work very hard here to establish trust (The good people anyhow).

I told them to go create a new account and start like we all had to.. 🤷‍♂️

864  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Massively fraudulent Escrow Transaction! on: August 17, 2022, 07:58:26 PM
Now that we’re all up to speed on what this actually was, seems like the thread can be closed.

LOL... Did you forget that this scam accusation isn't against me, nor did I open it, or have anything to do with it. Cheesy

Your narcissism is in full effect, I love it! ... Deflect, claim to be the victim, blah blah blah blah - Funny how it's just like Mr. Steel isn't it? Hmm...

The most hilarious part is you have the balls to blame me for this (and that one) Huh in some stupid inadvertent way, knowing full well I have zero to do with anything of that shit... I mean think about it, if I did, why would I announce it to the fuckin world here lol? Huh Cheesy Cheesy

Damn, ok, so if you feel like taking it to reputation, feel free to make up some more fake shit about me like usual, I'm sure the community will ignore it as always, or just shitpost it to death. Huh

I would like to add - It's quite amazing the amount of PM's I get from people who feel the same about you but don't have the fuckin balls to say anything on the forum, for fear of a "red mark" on their account.... Roll Eyes

PS - TMAN says hello! Grin

I was going to stay out of this until I remembered this.... SO.... I'll just leave it here, and you can all decide for yourselves who is the scammiest escrow around? Roll Eyes

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3160695.0;all

I was waiting for you to chime in here.  I thought it was a bit odd that suddenly an escrow drama blows up after you again start launching attacks on me.  Last time you started launching attacks on me via the trust network and posting lies there was the drama of the telegram impersonator which stopped completely once your Freudian slip of the tongue seemingly became an admission of guilt...  I wasn't going to bring up the timing of this, but it is suspect to say the least given your recent harassment and negative trust.  I have no evidence other than coincidence, but if the shoe fits...  I only hope this drama blows up enough for you to be worth the escrow fee it cost...

This should be moved to reputation so that I at least get paid for sig spam for engaging in what I believe to be manufactured forum drama.

You failed to mention that you were the one that attacked me first just lately... I haven't mentioned your name in literally a year or two. I actually enjoy living in your head rent free it's kind of fun. I know it really annoys you that I'm on default trust but did you really have to try and get me kicked off the signature campaign for no reason? By the way you're the asshole not me, go back down to your basement and and keep typing shit posts for money.  Roll Eyes Keep on scamming, it's what you do best! 🖕🖕🤣🤣

PS I love how you're some kind of amazing psychologist who can actually crystal ball things in your head... 🤣🤣🤣

868  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [IDEA] 🌍🌎🌏 Community group participation - Bitcoin Colouring Book on: August 12, 2022, 12:35:26 AM
I think this is really cool. Another idea would be to have users make pages for a "new", special coloring book. You would set the rules like what size/style pen etc, then we draw stuff to color. Grin

Either way, I'm down for this, it sounds like it may be a forum-legendary thread/coloring book someday! Ofc everyone should sign their page IMO so we know who did what too! Cheesy
869  Economy / Reputation / Re: Clearing my trust list on: August 10, 2022, 12:52:45 AM
you know that this will not change your status much, you will still be in the DT selection because, it sounds a bit strange, but others decide about it. Others who keep you on their trust list.
If I remember correctly, marlboroza tried to get out of the DT circle and asked everyone to put him on the distrust list, I don't think that ever happened.

If you want to get rid of the "drama" hassles of being on DT1, just PM theymos and he can blacklist you like he did for me. I can tell you, I don't have to deal with a LOT of bs that I used to for whatever reason, as I don't always have the time to play the role I felt I needed to be for being on DT1 if that makes sense .... My life is much simpler here now. Exclude me if you like, I don't even bother to check anymore... I know my reputation speaks for itself, so wtf amirite? Huh Tongue

Getting off DT2 is not so simple afaik.... Maybe theymos can blacklist someone from that as well, has anyone asked? Tongue
870  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: What Drives Hackers?, Is it Money, Power Or Fun. on: August 07, 2022, 01:39:34 AM
speaking from my own experience as a youngster on the internet when it was literally first born (I dialed into it via a 9600 baud modem to my local library and used Lynx on a VAX system... I never even knew the internet had fckn colors until dial-up arrived a few years later and could use Netscape LOL....  Back then, I was never out to cause anything malicious, I just enjoyed learning ways to do stuff that were "different" and back then, things were much more simpler as well, but it was also like the wild west of computing, similar to 2013-2014 for BTC lol...

That said, I think a lot of people are just out for a challenge , or just to learn. Sometimes it may cause damage, ofc, but personally I never broke anything that I'm aware of. I just tried to learn as much as I could about TCP/IP and networking etc...  Nowadays, there are so many attack vectors that it's much easier than back then to exploit for gain - In my days, all there was was literally Yahoo search, and a fuckin bunch of UNI servers hosting Unix software lol... I remember telnet was very fun back then too... Grin

Anyhow, I think many people just do it to learn, but nowadays, it's very easy for a very smart (and scammy)! person to find exploits... The more code that exists, the more exploits to be found and so on ... 🤷‍♂️

871  Economy / Collectibles / Re: TWC at it again with their new coin, the dogecoin on: August 04, 2022, 01:03:43 AM
They dont say what the coin is limited to though.

Yes.. This is one of their "issues" IMO... I know they did(distributed??) the sol noctis and many other coins I've purchased, that seem to be not as limited as they said, but otoh, you can't believe any site anymore IMO... I remember they always seem to take fckn forever to send the coins as well. I recall the delay on the sol noctis bulls was quite a few months, amounting to a pre-order basically... I do like the design too, so not complaining there. Wink Go doge! Tongue

Edit it's themed like this one as well... https://www.topworldcoins.com/en/liberty-united-crypto-states-1-oz-proof-silver-coin-1000-satoshi-2022-united-crypto-states

872  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTS - Loaded 2020 Lealana Full KIZEKRA Set on: July 31, 2022, 02:27:49 AM
Not mine, but im going to guess. Loaded with 85 monero at $160 a piece.. 14000. Super rare so double it. Id say he might take 20 to 25 thousand

Yeah if you look at the OP's for all these bars, you will find he also paid a LOT of extras for the serial number, the rainbow housing and rainbow steel plates with the certificates etc.
I would guess maybe even higher. This is def one of the cream of the crop right here, also these bars are severely undervalued IMO. many assume they are just Kialara knock-offs, but they may be inspired by max, but whatever, the craftsmanship put into all these pieces is simply amazing in hand compared to pics for sure. Smoothie always seems to give 100%, so I'll again give him that! My fave is the first one on the top left. Grin

As you say cryptodane - these are also more of the true "future relics" of crypto history. Grin

I'd also put them in a class of their own, sorta like with Smoothies King Kahemena coins... Those are something you will not find every day either. Tongue
873  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Hardware Wallet on eBay (gnuzone) -KeepKey plagiarized on: July 31, 2022, 12:30:08 AM
Holy shit man. Looks like this dude could be planting malware on hundreds of peoples stuff... Selling a Rufus usb stick, i mean wtf right? Any idiot can figure out how to do that with a simple google search. Download rufus, insert USB, select ISO file, and hit Write lol.. ... Roll Eyes

I almost want to order one of his cheaper items and runt it through some tools on Kali linux just to see what the fuck is up there...

Normally expensive software on the cheap like that is always a red flag as well lol.
874  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTS - Loaded 2020 Lealana Full KIZEKRA Set on: July 30, 2022, 03:53:11 PM
Hey that's correct, loaded with 84,7436 XMR  Smiley

This set is truly quite amazing, especially since it's the rainbow-housing and you have the steel certs which are also beautiful in themselves, as well as the amazing packaging(s)...

I have a few of these bars, and I can honestly say that taking good pictures of them is very difficult, in fact a video is best it seems Tongue

I have no idea how Smoothie ever got this picture so nice, it really captures them awesomely, but I would still give a kidney for this set.

Hang in there @JL95... Someone with deep pockets will eventually bite, I am quite sure... Patience will pay off eventually. Wink

875  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Sha-256 the fun way on: July 27, 2022, 12:55:32 AM
These visuals for Sha-256 are great for noobies looking to mine, get bitcoin, or do there own stuff. I found a fun project is to try out the same input each time and watch the hash come out the same. Thats how hashes work, they are used by putting the block_header in the hash and seeing if someone's hash comes out below a target. If you have the same block_header, you'll get the same hash. You could say the block is arranged numbers; the hash.

https://sha256algorithm.com/

Thanks that's really cool actually! I don't normally click on newbie links but did it in a vm with nothing to lose first lol... Tongue   Nothing seems fishy about it, I like it! Cheesy

I would love if that domain redirected to this forum to get more people interested in this little niche pocket of the Bitcoin community.

Also how much do think that domain name is worth? 25 - 50 BTC?

Best,
BTCOVERFIATS

No clue what it's worth, not my area I guess... Tongue

It did use to resolve here tho.. Chib, is that your domain? I can help with dns fixing if you need it, I recall us talking about this a long time ago I think but I cannot recall who owned it... Huh

All of those IP addresses have reverse dns pointing to various "cloudfront.net" servers, so I'm assuming that's who is hosting it.

Physicalbitcoin.com use to redirect right here to the collectibles board. This was a pretty great way to introduce people easily to the site and of course this board in particular. It seems the website is still under registration until next year, so any ideas what’s up with it right now or what might have happened?   www.physicalbitcoin.com

From what I can tell, the DNS has has multiple A records for it, so it resolves to one of the 4 different IP's below instead - Which don't seem to do anything (anymore)? but give ssl errors... Huh

Whoever controls the domain's dns records just needs to fix all that I guess... Tongue

879  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [PRE-SALE] DUCK - THE ONLY DIAMOND, MX12, BITCOIN ART on: July 24, 2022, 10:49:49 PM
Hello everyone! Attention!

Yesterday something happen, we lost bitcoins or I have lose someone else's Bitcoins. Everything was so real and I really don't know what to do in this situation. Please help me. Very hard times as always or I am just person who doesn't have much luck. I will post my inbox and outbox - it was happening very fast, I really even didn't realized there is something wrong with the account, because I had once something like this but I was helping out my friend. Of course the question I am asking myself, why to send to another address? Maybe I should use the same address where it comes from. Everything looks shitty now, that's why I am asking you Bitcointalk community, what should I do in this situation. I feel really bad. If there isn't anything wrong with this account, I will stack some funds and try to send him art on my own costs. It's will take little time but I will do it. I have more art gifted than sold, that's why maybe I should deal with this as well - because I really feel bad and I can't sleep with this. I have really good hurt, much to good.

So I'm having trouble figuring out exactly what happened here - did he send the btc to you and now wants it back but to  a different address, or did you not get the btc and he's asking for it back? Huh

Screenshots are difficult because I cannot copy/paste the addresses used to check what happened exactly...

Sorry for the trouble, and the bs last night... Deleting my post later when I'm allowed ...  Roll Eyes

If you can post more detailed info, I would be glad to help. Dustin's account looks ok to me at first glance anyhow? Huh

Thanks!

Still a

 Grin

But you collect money from other people to invest in other ponzis, and then repay the money lost in seats.  It's like a ponzi for ponzis.

Who do I collect money from? Where do I invest it? What am I repaying?

I would love to be able to respond to people who have questions about this long running community Bitcoin project that I started more than a decade ago, but it’s difficult when people make things up and throw words like Ponzi around as that is clearly not the case.

Says it all right here ^^^^ ... Cheesy

ponziception...  LOL

I hope all you seat-owners have filed complaints with the SEC by now, I mean seriously, it's the longest running scam in Bitcoin history, is it not? Huh

OG I would PM you but you are a pussy and have blocked me... Grin
