1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to be profitable in sports betting? on: October 16, 2019, 10:07:42 AM
Sports betting is easier than just dice because it atleast has some facts and figures which you can compare before forming a decision regarding buy or sell. Just go by the sheets a team which looks good on sheets really is the team which plays better on field. Cutting losses is also pretty important these things can make you profitable in gambling.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin and alts on: October 16, 2019, 10:02:11 AM
It's usual. Whenever bitcoin retraces alts go rekt because BTC is the king and people think that market is going down so they lose confidence in alts too therefore taking out money from the alts this can be even bad when we are in long term bearish phase.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think XRP will start to the moon? on: October 16, 2019, 10:00:25 AM
Yes I agree there are a lot of good news about XRP but there are good news about almost every coin but none of them is actually pumping up. XRP is also centralized coin so I don't think it will moon that much even after such news which show increase in it's centralization.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Fastest growing coin? And biggest up ward movement on: October 16, 2019, 09:58:24 AM
Chainlink has a lot of buzz going around. Even there own social media page is really creating a lot of hype in the markets. maybe it can be the fastest growing coin. My eyes are still on TRON and BTT I think these two can become monsters in long term.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin is the sleeping giant on: October 16, 2019, 09:56:22 AM
Litecoin is definitely a sleeping giant but nowadays it's facing the same problem which BTC face that is very high transaction time. These days my ltc transactions are taking more than 40 minutes to happen. Maybe these scalability issues can pose a big problem for LTC in long term.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the altcoin bull started on: October 16, 2019, 09:54:34 AM
I think altcoins bull run is a hoax. Btc is the main indicator of market and market moves as per it's direction. When you see BTC moving on the up side alts too will follow soon while if you see it moving on the down side they will rekt soon.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I just SOLD my girlfriends car to buy more ETH at sale price :) on: October 16, 2019, 09:53:32 AM
Haha this sounds pretty funny because you might be pretty happy with this decision but your girlfriend definitely would be very sad after hearing this. If he is not into technology then It's heart breaking to know that your loved one sold your car for a digital currency.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What needs to happen in order for bitcoin to replace gold on: October 16, 2019, 09:51:26 AM
How can bitcoin replace gold?? can you make ornaments out of bitcoin? Can you make biscuits out of bitcoin? gold is a metal and bitcoin is a digital currency. You may say it digital gold but it still is far away from being called digital gold.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 16, 2019, 09:50:28 AM
If you have invested when btc was at 19k then maybe you have done a mistake because you have lost returns of those 5 precious years when btc is in bear mode but if you have invested anywhere near 10k mark then there is no problem we will soon surpass that mark.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Legality effect on: October 16, 2019, 09:49:34 AM
It depends that how will it be recognized. If it is recognized as a currency then I don't think people would use fiat but for that bitcoin should improve on it's speed and cost only high speed and less cost transactions would make btc practical.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin can not become a global currency on: October 16, 2019, 09:48:26 AM
No bitcoin can not become a global currency the governments around the world would never agree to it. For there to be one currency there must be unity all around like the European Union but there is no such thing in case of whole word and nor it is possible in future to have one world without countries.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the dangers inside cryptocurrency investing on: October 16, 2019, 09:47:17 AM
There are two types of dangers involved here. One is the risk of hacking or phishing while other is risk of volatility and losing your money. Especially if you have invested money in shit tokens they are more likely to fail and you will end up with nothing therefore avoid such things.
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to invest my $1300 USD? on: October 16, 2019, 09:04:56 AM
Invest 100$ each in top 13 currencies on bitcointalk and just forget that you ever had this money. Wake up after 5 years and open your wallet and you would magically see that you are now a millionaire. Market will boom in coming years and every top coin will boom along with it.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prices of Bitcoin and Altcoin are down now ...? on: October 16, 2019, 09:03:13 AM
This is what happens in markets everyday. Prices go up and down everyday here you cannot blame bitcoin or any other altcoin. Crypto markets are meant to be very shaky and can be very volatile everyday. If it's down now it will increase some other day so relax.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Save Yourself From, "Wallet Scammers". on: October 16, 2019, 09:01:18 AM
You should never send money to random addresses received on email. They always turn out to be scam. People do these things because they know the folks can be easily fooled by luring them into some giveaways or bounties.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: When will Apple accept bitcoins? on: October 16, 2019, 08:59:56 AM
When they really need to. But they'll fight it hard! Apple's business model is to lock everything down -- very closed indeed. This does not align with the goals of bitcoin, at least, how I perceive them.

tl;dr Apple = closed. BTC = open.
Only when governments say that bitcoin is a legal tender and it can be used as means of settling your payment is the day apple could go for accepting bitcoin payments. This is very less likely to happen in next few years.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: WHICH GROUP DO YOU BELONG HERE on: October 16, 2019, 08:37:36 AM
I think one can never be a complete bull or bear. Bear too once invested all the money in market which is why he is taking money out now. While bull also will take money out from market one day. SO this definition is wrong I think bear Trades on short side while bull does on long side.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving and price History Analysis on Chart on: October 16, 2019, 08:35:36 AM
So basically you are saying we should just buy Bitcoin immediately after halving and then we should hold it until a few years because as far as I can see it takes a few months after the halving for pump to begin.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about STO token? on: October 16, 2019, 08:34:12 AM
It's actually great most of people don't realize potential in such small tokens but sometimes they can prove to be really good source of investment. Also these can get sudden pumps which could profit you in short term. While good concepts which could prosper you in long term.
