Ho investito un po' di BTC in 14 prestiti su btcjam e ben 4 hanno dato buca ai pagamenti (con un buco di 14BTC). Spero vivamente che le azioni promesse dai gestori del sito riescano a farmene recuperare almeno una parte...

Another way is to send to the buyer with a trackable mail service a copy of the transaction (from blockchain.info and from paypal). At least a chargeback here in Italy was rejected by paypal with this method (here's the topic in italian https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=106657.20)

Penso che il grosso problema delle scarse vendite sia dovuto allo scarso il numero di possibili utenti. Ebay ha almeno 10 milioni di iscritti (era un dato del 2007 oggi sarà anche più alto), i bitcoin sono usati da circa 1 milione di persone, ammesso che 1/10 sia interessato a cercare a bitmit siamo 1/100 degli utenti di ebay (per adesso gli utenti sono meno di 4000 sparpagliati in decine di nazioni, troppo difficile trovare prodotti che vengano apprezzati da molti utenti e il cui costo non venga stravolto da spese di spedizione e dazi internazionali): la massa critica secondo me si raggiungerà quando si arriverà a 20-30.000 utenti. Calcola che lo stesso ebay il secondo anno dall'apertura ha ospitato 250.000 aste per poi salire a 2 milioni l'anno dopo ancora. Bitmit è aperto da 1 anno circa è ha fatto almeno 3000 ordini ma le aste sono state secondo me almeno 3-4 volte tanto, se gli utenti decuplicassero e di conseguenza le aste saremmo vicini ai numeri di ebay al secondo anno.

I conti che hai fatto tu li avevo fatti anche io e di certo con questi utili pensare di spostare la società è totalmente folle (solo le spese di registrazione si mangerebbero un anno di utili). E questo è anche il motivo (oltre al fatto che la legge italiana rende un casino gestire la cosa) che mi ha fermato dal fare un'offerta. 30BTC, ma fossero anche 60 o 70 non valgono di certo lo sbattone di mettere su il tutto, e il costo di tenere un server dedicato.
Vedremo come evolve la cosa.

This put them of law anyway: incomes have to be declared and so on. There are only 3 ways IMHO: move away to a country where is legal run this kind of site, sell it or scorporate the unlaw part of the site and move it to another country.

I'm looking after buying it, but Italian law is even worse: If I run a site like bitmit in Italy I would be forced to have no other income from different kind of work than intermediation. If is a site that generate 500-1000 BTC/month of income I can maybe try it, but for 40-50BTC/month is not worth it

E' di ieri la notizia, e purtroppo è vera: a causa di una nuova legge di HK, dove ha sede bitmit, non è più legale gestire un sito che tenga in deposito soldi degli utenti. Hanno messo all'asta il loro sito https://www.bitmit.net/en/trade/i/8175-bitmit-net

Stavo facendonci un pensierino serio, ma da 2 calcoli veloci ho visto rende circa 20-40BTC al mese gestirlo a fronte della necessità di avere almeno 1 server dedicato e che da una altrettanto rapida ricerca pare che in Italia sia complesso aprire un sito di aste: ci sono leggi risalenti ad almeno 30 anni fa ancora in vigore che di fatto equiparano le aste online a quelle "normali", per cui occorre essere dei mediatori d'affari (con costi di iscrizione è sopratutto l'applicazione di questa clausola "L'attività di agente di affari in mediazione è incompatibile con qualsiasi attività professionale ed imprenditoriale e con l'essere dipendente di enti pubblici e privati ad eccezione dei dipendenti pubblici in regime di tempo parziale non superiore al 50% delle ore totali previste dal contratto, dei dipendenti di imprese di mediazione e dell'attività di amministratore di condominio.").
Alla fine troppo sbattimento per meno di 400€ lordi al mese 

Speriamo venga comprato da qualcuno di serio ed onesto e che riesca a predere ancora più piede

I know that (I'm one of the guy that has financed one of the loan with no verified info - but on that I know well that is a risk). For the multiple active loan is not uncommon for a startup to ask for 2-3 small loans instead of a big one (I'm thinking on the not repaid loan of casfow for example) because is faster to start to obtain some money on  3 loans of 20BTC (asap I reach 14BTC I can start the loan) than on 1 of 60 (where I need 42BTC to start it).
Incredible rates is again not so strange (or almost is not here in Italy): I receive a flyer of a mall yesterday that promise a rate of 0% for installment payments over 10 months. Reading the small prints on a 100€ buy you'll pay near 50€ of extra costs for loan opening and so on, is it a 50% rate of interest, so make a loan here at 30% is 20% saving.

On my own experience, at the moment no, unless you can loan small amount that you don't care to lose.
I've 3 payments overdue on 6  (+1 that has to be paid today still not paid, but there is the time zone difference): at the moment the lost is way bigger than the incomes (even considering the 2 loans that are repayed in advance of weeks)

So any news on how many weeks still to wait before release?

I don't see the utility of private loan: if you know someone that want to lend you money just ask them to do it

The platform is really interesting both as oppurtunity for an investment and as mean to obtain some funds, but unless you can assure some better form of protection from scam it become easily unusable at all: at the moment I've 15 investment done, of which 6 had to be partially repaid at the date: only 3 investors have paid back them. A 50% of loan not repayed is really too high to sustain. And for what I can see other investors are in the same situation too

Not so easy to find one: as I said before Euro is blue for 5 and 20 notes, red for 10, orange for 50, yellow for 200 and violet for 500, so what colour do you pick up? Other currency have the same problem of very wide range of colour too. Maybe is possible to make a css with some choice of colour (green for USA, orange for bitcoin lovers  and so on) but I still think that orange is the bitcoin colour

Questo non ci voleva proprio adesso che stavo convincendo un amico con un eshop di materiale informatico ad apporgiarsi a MtGox per i pagamenti in bitcoin 
Visti i margini risicatissimi che ci sono vendendo PC  bitpay non molto è usabile per il limite di 500€ al giorno prelevabili e il 4% di tasso (più alto di quello di un gestore di carte di credito) per contro mtgox permette fino a 1000€ e fa pagare solo l'1%.
