Economy / Speculation / Re: Weekend target $320
|
on: December 04, 2015, 06:26:07 PM

I doubt that the price will be under $350 especially this weekend. The price today was not stable and i think it will be the same as the next few days too. Next target could be 380 dollars and not down to $320.

Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc Good time to buy ?

The price is really unstable these days but buying is most of the time good. It was bad when the bicoin price was about 1,000 dollars but that was in the past. The price of bitcoin will be of course higher that it is now so why not buying.

I think that it is an closed/secret group which show up time by time. If they think that its the time to cause another boom they will do it. They have a good power to pump and dump the bitcoin price.

I think that the 1st bitcoin is hard to earn then the things will be easier. For now i am working on it to be in the 1 million club but it's really hard. Maybe this year not, but i hope that the next year i will be in that club.

As far as you stay safe, your device has no malware/viruses. Another secure thing is to have a strong password and enable 2FA if available. For cold wallet i prefer trezor as it has the power also the Ledger is good too.

I think that in the near future there will be a mess until solving the block size issue. But after that i think that the halving will increase a bit the bitcoin price. I hope that more big online shops will help bitcoin by integrating it in their systems.

I would suggest the OP to reopen the poll to vote and the others that haven't voted before. Most of the people seems that voted for speculation, personally i use bitcoin as investment first. Then buying digital items like keys, licenses and anyother kind of giftcards.
Investing in bitcoins at present is the right thing do as the price of bitcoins will go much more higher in the coming months so it is better to invest money in it and sell it at the right time and generally I used it for online transfers as it is very easy and convenient. If there is any good company or any good website to invest in i would invest immediately. But from my little research i found that there aren't any secure company that will guarantee me profit. Of if there is any profit it will take years to earn few dollars which i consider waste of time.

Economy / Speculation / Re: ~360 - Break out up, or down?
|
on: December 03, 2015, 07:23:31 AM

It could go both ways now, if you are a believer and see all those good news racking up, you will think it's going up. If you are a hater for some reason, nothing will change your mind and you will think it will go down because goverments will crush and whatnot. What im trying to say is, we can't really know what's going to happen for certain. Personally, I think it is incredibly obvious right now that everyone is waiting to see what the next guy is doing about Bitcoin because they still don't get it.
There are ups and downs at the moment and the price goes from $360 up to $370. The end of the year's holiday are coming and we can expect a drop by the end of the year.

When you are not sure if a website is available or it's offline, Then check through this website http://isup.me/For now at the moment of writing the Steadyturtle is accessible. I can not access steadyturtle.com, my website hosting ip and my website. All of them give an error with: "The waiting time for the connection is over" I have tried to clear my cache, switching browser, but that doesn't work. It's up for me tough.... So i guess the problem is either in your home network, or with your isp (a routing problem for example?) All other website are working fine for me, only my host and my website are not up for me Then the problem is at your router or with you internet service provider. Try connecting to your neighbors Wi-Fi (if any) and check if the websites works. Otherwise you should probably wait, or maybe try to contact the steadyturtle support.

He is trying to promote Apple Pay, when in fact Bitcoin is better. It would be very sad for him if in the future people would rather use Bitcoin than Apple Pay, and it seems that he had predicted it. Every giant company want to have its own payment processor. So google wallet is, and also i think that Apple Pay will be similar to AliPay, paying with only one-click.

Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the next MtGox?
|
on: December 03, 2015, 07:05:50 AM

The next MtGox probably is Cryptsy and they are not alone. I think that another one will join this 'journey' and that is bter chinese exchange. They have been hacked almost a year from now and they are not able to compensate the 'stolen funds' for their users.
Their profits are probably a lot less than you think. Besides the volume being a lot lower after such a major incident, the small fees don't help if you need to recover such a severe hack. -snip- It has been a long time almost a year, but i don't think that they can't cover at least 50% of total within a year. And the stolen funds are very suspicious as they were stolen from a cold wallet which probably was one of their employees.

Maybe you should use release ip or search in google that is done from the command prompt

I voted for the lowest one $500 which is pretty hard to reach for few weeks. About the $400 i am very optimistic that it will cross it by the end of the month. People spent lots of money in black friday so they will do for the holiday in next weeks and bitcoin price maybe can drop.
