41  Economy / Lending / Re: investment opportunity on: May 19, 2018, 12:47:58 PM
Not a bad offer OP, but I can beat it.

Send me any amount of BTC, and I'll return 50% your investment within just 24 hours, 100% guaranteed.

Also, for the first 10 investors, I'll provide an additional 0% interest per day, for 365 days.

Do not miss out on this incredible opportunity.
42  Other / Meta / Re: Smart copypasters, what to do with them? on: May 19, 2018, 12:41:26 PM
These people are usually farming signature campaigns or trying to reach the minimum quality level for some bounty or other. Honestly I believe that these people should be given a 14 day warning as this clearly does not contribute to the forum, if they continue after this then a full ban should be dropped.

The good thing is that with the new merit system these people will never stand to rank up from the quality of these posts, as they usually don't even take the time to edit and repost a truly high quality post, though that would be more obvious.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung has now entered the cryptocurrency world on: May 19, 2018, 12:26:42 PM
It doesn't really matter what innovations Samsung comes up with for their mining software, the pace of difficulty seems to outpace the improvements in hash rate, so there will be no benefit in terms of throughput. The only thing this will do is change the game for the hashing race, so in reality there's no net gain, other than increased lining for Samsung's pocket.

Surprised they haven't jumped on the bandwagon and produce a blockchain phone like all the other tech savvy startups these days. Wish they would focus on improving the software of their mobile devices than sticking their nose into yet another business.
44  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking to Build. Do you need to devs? on: May 17, 2018, 12:34:10 AM
Could you please provide a little more information here on which languages you can code in, as well as a portfolio if possible.

I am currently working with a group and we need some sharp devs on our side.

Please PM me a link to your past works, e.g. github or portfolio of some sort.

46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why usdt is stable?? on: May 15, 2018, 09:52:49 PM
The value of USDT doesn't fluctatuate as much as other cryptocurrencies because it isn't the same as other crypocurrencies. USDT is pegged to the total amount of USD in the supply of the USDT platform, this means that it will never deviate too far from $1 otherwise people will literally be giving money away.
47  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese Investor bought 10,000 bitcoin during the dip! on: May 15, 2018, 09:50:56 PM
Then it looks like he has made a solid $50,000,000 profit then, not bad for a few months work. Though it could have quite easily been the opposite, so he deserves his profit. Normally when somebody like that dumps their coins on the market it causes a crash for everybody else, so hopefully he at least releases them slowly as not to screw everybody else over.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever be 20k again? Why or why not? on: May 15, 2018, 09:49:20 PM
There's no reason to believe that BTC wont rise back up to its previous all time high, sure we're at around 60% dip right now in comparison, but the market has shown strength in the last few weeks, rising from as low as $6,000 up to almost $9,000. The last time we saw just a large increase eventually lead to it reaching its all time high. Old trends tend to repeat themselves in the world of crypto.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: May 14, 2018, 09:53:58 PM
I think the name of the Creator of bitcoin was hidden deliberately to bitcoin was truly independent and decentralized.

Wow, what an astonishing observation, you really should be a detective because you are gifted.

OT. The problem with discovering who Satoshi is, is that even the true satoshi lacks the proof of his own creation, hence even if someone were to claim they are satoshi, they wouldn't be able to prove, so nobody would believe them. I guess if they signed an address from one of the earliest addresses that would do it, but odds are they've lost those addresses.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin govern the whole world? on: May 13, 2018, 10:26:36 PM
Decentralized governance isn't on Bitcoins feature list, it doesn't have much smart-contract functionality like NEO or ethereum so I really don't see how it can be used for decentralized governments or corporations. if you are asking if it can control the world, as per money makes the world go round, then yes, it can fall into the same category as money and bitcoin are synonymous
51  Other / Off-topic / Re: what wallet can you recommend? on: May 13, 2018, 10:24:09 PM
Electrum wallet has my vote, it allows you to set a custom fee, which many wallets don't allow, and also allows payment batching which is very handy when you need to send a dozen or so transactions at once. For ethereum I would recommend Jaxx, also has some great features not present elsewhere, or of course the ledger wallet if you've got the cash.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin BANNED in bolivia on: May 13, 2018, 10:23:06 PM
Literally nobody cares about tiny countries that have no effect on the world, they make these statements as if they will have any effect on the bitcoin industry. Bolivia.... Really? Tell me when the USA bans it. Notice how it's always the most corrupt countries that look to ban it, their corruption is about to be undermined.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin cliche $36,000 price by the end of next year? on: May 12, 2018, 10:17:29 AM
I am not sure what you mean by cliche, you realize that doesn't make sense in the context of your sentence. That being said, if you are asking whether it will reach $36k by the end of 2018 I would say this is unlikely, unless it goes on a huge bull run between now and then. It did happen around this time last year, so hopefully market sentiments pick up at some point and we start running again.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why didn't Warren Buffett invest in Bitcoin? on: May 12, 2018, 10:12:22 AM
Warren buffet doesn't need to invest in bitcoin, when you are the king of gold, why care about silver? He's a billionaire, he doesn't need to try his hand at risky investments as part of some sort of get rich quick scheme, he is already rich. Again, when you are a billionaire, why would you support the very system that threatens to ruin your holdings?
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why gas price? on: May 12, 2018, 10:10:32 AM
Not sure which banks you are looking at, but you certainly can't send funds for free between countries. Sure, you can make transfer between banks in the same country for free (usually), but sending between countries incurs a hefty IBAN fee which is usually at least $20, regardless how much you're sending. Nowadays it is very rare to see a BTC fee anywhere close to this.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Caused the Boom in Bitcoin on: May 12, 2018, 10:07:33 AM
It depends which year you are referring to, as technically almost every year since its release in 2009 it has boomed in value. I think last year was caused by a huge FOMO wave which lead to a lot of weak hands getting in at a price point they couldn't be happy with, and when it inevitably dipped again these weak hands sold out and worsened the market state.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: For Bounty hunters and Airdops hunters! on: May 11, 2018, 08:27:14 PM
Seems like a sneaky way for you to just plug your telegram channel whilst masquerading as providing crucial information to users here on the forum. Why not just outright say it rather than being sneaky about it. Also, airdrop hunters will never get rich scraping peanuts together, why not just put the work in to make the big bucks?
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can drop again 7K zone. on: May 11, 2018, 08:25:09 PM
Bitcoin will drop from 7k-8k dollars then after two weeks it will rise again to 9k, by the month of june it will hit 10k then continuously rising up till october then it will drop a little bit by a couple of weeks then the price of bitcoin will hit 20k dollars zone by december.so invest now buy bitcoin and hodl it.
It is really difficult to predict how the market goes but i expected this crash because the resistance we had at $10 k was really high and the market was not going anywhere and so i expected a correction before crossing the $10k valuation and i am not sure how long it will take to cross those valuation but i am positive that the next push will take the value above $10k.

Look at all that technical analysis to back up those assumptions.... Oh wait, there is none, this is just mindless opinion based on nothing.

Odds are that Bitcoin will either stabilize around the current price due to the SEC meeting that is looming, bad news means it will drop below $8,000, good news will likely see it rise back above $9,500.
59  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: easy way to follow the bitcoin price on: May 11, 2018, 08:19:05 PM
Looks like you still haven't changed that horrible domain, do you really think people on search engines are ever going to click through to your website when they see that name? What is your purpose here, surely it must be to grow the site and make it profitable? Choose a suitable name.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🔥🔥How to do a lot of bounty🔥🔥 on: May 11, 2018, 08:17:53 PM
The fact that you participate in so many bounties in such a small amount of time indicates to me that you are posting absolutely garbage content. I guarantee you get awarded minimum stakes every week for doing exactly this, possibly even no stakes at all if the rules are strict. If I were a bounty manager I would block all spammy accounts from participating, as that doesn't generate any awareness for the project at all.
