Here's a word of advice for the future, if you have to ask if they're legit, they're usually not. If they don't have hundreds of positive reviews when selling high value items, steer well clear. I'd recommend just buying a few used ones from here, get the benchmarks first, and pay for an escrow (unless they're quite obviously trusted). Take a look at the goods section, there's a few S9's available; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=51.0

You do realize that there are pump and dump groups that pump trash-coins like Dentacoin, and then dump it right at the top, leaving all those jumping on the bandwagon with their bags they'll never sell. Don't think that just because a coin spikes 50-100x that it's because of some huge increase in acceptance, more often than not these are pump and dump spikes which tend to occur on low market cap coins due to being easier to manipulate.

If your only concern is fees then there are a myriad of alts with lower fees than btc, infact I'd say pretty much every alt has lower fees than BTC.
Whereas if you're looking for spending power, then stick with BTC. Of course, if you can convert between currencies, send payments, and then convert back for less than the bitcoin fee, then that'll work too.

The vast majority of faucet sites are indeed legit, they make money by serving you adverts, captcha completion, or exploiting your contact information for marketing purposes, and pay a tiny satoshi reward. If you live in a low income country the payouts may be worthwhile even doing them manually.
The only people who make real money with these are the owners, or the people that manage to automate faucet requests at dozens of sites.

Lol, dont even get into that, you will get caught out in the end. I am self employed and I declare every penny I make Its just not worth trying to launder money
I recommend not laundering money as well, always be legal guys. But you must consider this too: When governments make bitcoin illegal (and they will sooner or later) they will ask people to deposit their bitcoins on the government's hands, just like they asked for people to put gold into the government's hands in 1933. The difference is gold does not have a blockchain, but bitcoin has, so if you declared your bitcoin, you are already on the list of "person that owns bitcoin" so you will be the first to get a letter by the government asking you to give them all of your btc. Consider that. Nearly all the highly economically developed countries have embraced crypto-currencies, and are currently rewriting legislation to make it taxable as either a security or a currency. What makes you think that it's going to be banned? Bitcoin is just as difficult to trace as cash, and yet cash remains.

Until the lightning network is well established, and bitcoin volatility is within an acceptable range, it is extremely unlikely that Amazon will be accepting BTC in the near future. Amazon is one of the largest corporations in the world, and make most of their money due to the high number of sales they achieve with mostly low profit margin items. In order for them to remain profitable, they would have to either find a way of nullifying the fees, or only accept it for particularly high profit margin items where they can afford to take a hit to profits for the sake of long term gain.
TL DR; No chance of this occurring any time soon.

If you have your private keys you can simply sweep them into a BTG wallet of your choice. Looking at the reports, neither of those two services support BTG, but may do in future, so it might just be a waiting game for now.

I already think the price of TRX is far too high, however it may not yet be at its peak. I've heard rumours that TRX is being pumped by some telegram groups, so it may be in the dump phase now. However, it hasn't yet been accepted onto bittrex, so may see a spike when it is (if ever).

Pictures are not enough of a collateral for anyone on this forum. As you are a newbie, sadly the only way you'll get a loan is with collateral. Without those there is no chance that you will get a loan, because of many people running away with funds.

The user has alot of negative feedback (without any real positive feedback), so i guess that they are not really that trustworthy at all. However i think that, that 120 BTC feedback might be very fake as well, because i don't see a way that a Sr. Member wouldn't run with that amount, because that's alot of money

Noce work posting to yourself on another noob account OP. I can see this service being very profitable for ypu.
NOT!
And it’s unconfirmed btw.
OP is using antpool i suppose, and they are very bad at accelerating transactions nowadays. Since the service was revealed to the public on the thread Accelerate your transactions via Antpool by yourself ! there are alot of transactions now submitted there. ViaBTC is the only valid option nowadays assuming that they have paid at least 10sat/byte tx fee for the tx.
|
|
|
Finally an honest accelerator who tells which accelerators they are using and does not ask for tips. However ViaBTC is the only TX that is usable currently, because antpool atleast has hard time confirming any of the transactions because there are so many on the line. Confirmtx.com is broken however, so i recommend just removing it from the list and forgetting about it.

I don't mind verification.
It's just that Coinbase requires that I send a SEPA payment which is a pain on the ass.
Well most of the exchanges require SEPA payment unless they are domestic. Im not sure how reputable Coinfloor is but there does not seem to be many of exchanges that are in UK. I recommend cash trades via localbitcoins if you want to trade in UK, however SEPA transfers to coinbase should not take longer than around 2-3 days.
|
|
|
Are you looking for an exchange which does not require ID verification or what kind of exchange? If you want the lowest fees, you'll have to settle for exchanges which require verification, if not well tthen there should be some options in UK as well.

Great to see the signature campaign starting now. If you are still interested about me managing (or at least helping) let me know, because there are alot of rules missing that are considered forum etiquette and i think that those are needed to avoid any spamming happening on the forum.

Hey! Since you have the compressed private keys on multibit, i have a solution but it takes some manual work. I have understood that you already know how to export compressed private keys, but you don't know how to uncompress them. You can go to Bitaddress.org and click on "Wallet details" which allows you to see the uncompressed key and some other details. Personally i'd recommend downloading bitaddress as offline page from the bottom of the page and disconnecting from internet if you wish to reuse the keys in future. Let me know if you require any extra assistance
